Tyler's Blog

Tyler

Good morning!

Sorry (said in Canadian accent) for getting this up a few hours late, I'm off to Las Vegas this weekend with Jeff and Brad to run a crazy set of Free Tour, Hot Seat, and Bootcamp events -- and I've been cranking out 20 hours days to prepare.

A quick note from JULIEN about his Reddit AMA tommorow btw -- if you want any JUICY pickup questions answered LIVE or just want to be a "fly on the wall" be sure to tune in...

<>=========<>

Hey Julien here, wanted to have Tyler post this now since it's hot off the press.

I'm going to be doing an AMA (Ask Me Anything) on REDDIT tomorrow at 9pm EST and that YOU'RE INVITED!!!

This is your chance to ask me ANYTHING... Even the most "off topic" and "random" questions will be answered... Anything... ;)

It's going to be in the "seduction" subreddit, that you can check out right over here:

http://www.reddit.com/r/seduction/

I'll see you there!!!

Julien

Nice.  Definitely hit Julien up, you'll LOVE it!

So today's video features me ROMPING through Miami and Los Angeles -- Liv, Ultra Music Fest, and Lure Hollywood -- to reveal the secrets of how to pick up girls in chaotic environments.

Loud dance floors, crazy parties, music pumped raves, you name it...

Even if these environments annoyed or intimidated you in the past, here's how to do it TODAY.

The video is really off the wall and I did this for HUMOR purposes to have a little fun.  Don't take it overly seriously, although IME the advice is rock solid.

I was basically just playing around with the editing software, and tried to create something a lil absurd to make it more amusing and memorable for you -- and I think you're going to really love it.

Anyway this weekend's program in Vegas is going to be one for the HISTORY BOOKS.

I'm psyched out of my mind to get out there.  OH MY GOD!

We just added JEFFY to the schedule so there's suddenly 2 more spaces open, whereas the event was previously sold out with myself myself and Brad, so feel free to jump on board.

I've also just added upcoming Los Angeles and San Diego programs that I'll be co-teaching with Julien at the last minute, because we decided we wanted to teach a few special events together like we used to back in the day!

If you've ever wanted to take a pickup program with me while I'm still teaching them regularly, NOW IS THE TIME!

I hope to be teaching pickup to whatever degree forever, but hit me up NOW if you want to learn PUA from me while it's still my most major focus.  Here's a list of my upcoming events...

April 4, 2013: Las Vegas
April 18, 2013: Los Angeles (BC with Julien!)
April 25, 2013: San Diego (Just added!)

THIS WEEK'S VIDEO

Alright so let's crack into this....

You're about to be whisked away on a magical adventure through the insane world of crazy parties and chaotic environments.

I've built this video to include tons of sounds and chaos to MENTALLY ANCHOR the lessons into you for the next time you're out, and I recommend you watch this multiple times. :)

By the end of this vid, you'll have a much stronger understanding of how to meet tons of hot girls out on dance floors, crazy parties, and insane environments, and I would urge you to go and FIELD TEST what you learn here TODAY!

So let's get into it...

CLICK THIS VIDEO TO LEARN THE TRUTH ABOUT PICKING UP HOT GIRLS AT CRAZY PARTIES AND INSANE ENVIRONMENTS...

Hope you enjoyed this!

<>==================================<>

GO FURTHER -- VID THAT HAMMERS THE CONCEPTS HOME!

Here's a vid on the topic of what the word "intent" ACTUALLY means.

I think this is very complimentary to what you just saw as far as "raising your own emotions" because it gets you thinking about what it means to be clear in what you're doing, which is a key element to what I'm doing in the above vid!

This video is also REALLY well spoken IMO and quite the roller coaster ride to watch!

Check it out!

Good stuff!

You're now READY TO GO!

Tyler (me!): Super Important Notes On Being CAREFREE With Hot Girls -- Inspired By "Spring Breakers"

If you enjoy my written stuff, I've created some really sick notes that were inspired by the recent kick ass movie Spring Breakers, and someday I may even make a vid out of this.  For now though check out the killer written notes, and try not to get sucked into the "weed" convo towards the end of the thread. :)

Thanks so much guys for the contributions, and ALL the posters of killer threads I read in the forums this week.

Yes the forum has a lot of garbage in it LOL, but if you stop FOCUSING on that and tease out the useful threads you'll realize there's tons of good user generated content from guys who go out.

EXTERNAL RESOURCE OF THE WEEK!

This is a video that contains all 4 of the EPIC DOCUMENTARY by Adam Curtis on the topic of social conditioning.

It's called "Century Of The Self" -- created by a bad ass Oxford Political Philosophy professor who is extreme funny and astute.

You absolutely need to set aside the time to watch this properly, so here's the link and have a click through it, and when you can sit down and really watch this BE SURE TO DO IT!

Absolutely LOVE Adam Curtis!

"The Power Of Nightmares" covers terrorism and "The Trap" covers how politicians use the word "freedom" to pump the masses.  Totally amazing, hope he comes out with  more!

Rare to see such truly quality material come out like this, be sure to enjoy...

<>=============================<>

THANKS!

So it's 4AM and I've got to pack and get up early for.... VEGAS!

Hoping to shoot some vids at the parties there, or maybe take a helicopter over to Grand Canyon to shoot a vid since I've never been!

I'm sure I'll do it eventually so we'll see what time permits.

Julien is also here with me in Los Angeles for the month to record new infield footage for the eventual release of the "Hot Seat 3" -- something we've been dreaming up for the past few years!

We'll hopefully also shoot some sick vids in downtown LA or San Diego or wherever else we're inclined in Southern California while he's here.

In the meantime, please hit me up with comments about dancefloor game and chaotic environments!  I want to read what's no your mind so please let me know!

Thanks so much for reading, and I'll talk to you soon!

this content is fucking spot on....its one of those things you intuitevly konw and do but your breakdown of it is fucking awesome.

Yh i have a looooad of experience on this because this was literally the main thing in my game for probably the first 3 years i was in it. So when i met all ozzies assistants like goran etc they would wonder why i had so much energy and was aalways bouncing around....i never really understood why no one else was bouncing around. Its this sort of thing that allows you to open every fucking set you try to.

Its also awesome if you are solo and want to create a hub, which is somethign i used to do a lot....just find the biggest group of girls...while they are dancing throw your arms around two of them and just enjoy pumping your own state and they become fucking excited you joined their group and they all start dancing on you and shit and then you can spend the night with them and pick the hottest one or just keep building the party everywhere and have them as your social base.

this is my fav video of you...loved the editing too going to give it a second watch now

It feels like this video was made for me. Have always not really understood what I should do when everyone is dancing. I am definitely used to being in the purpose driven mindset, where dancing feels like "what is the point?"

Thanks a lot bro, very useful, take care.

Awesome stuff, although I'm pretty good at PU it's awesome seemed hard to open in really intense clubs like that.  It's loud, fun, etc.  It's fucking easy to walk around a bar, street, or similar and open open open.

Also, curious how do you get into Liv with 10 guys? haha

Man everything was PRISTINE until you showed the second part of the video where you were in the club; you were just recycling the same examples and concepts. Other than that you did everything right (imo): covering objections, giving scenarios, infield clips, being fully immersed in the video. Awesome stuff

great idea to give other suggestion about  teachers, video...
I've seen the first video about the "century of the self" and at the begining it was a little boring but now I understand more deeply why you are always talking about group think, and how important it is to become conscious of this to not letting being manipulated... it is liberating to look at my ideas about dressing, having mussles, and looks in general.. it isn't real, these are just ideas we should be able to free ourselves from..
and I also liked the video of Eliott that I would have never found on my own
thank you

New Forumla for POSTS.

Tyler.

Again great contribution. After your post about process vs. results (concept I can't stop thinking from the moment you release it, it literally save my job) it will be very hard for me to get this kind of epiphany.

I agree with everything you say here but what's is even more interesting is new formula of post.
Putting there articles from RSDN and external sources is just great. That something that make it almost  weekly magazine like!

I also agree with your opinion on Spring Breakers. James Franco character do superb with hot girls. He is totally fun to be with and he seduce them completely.

Thanks for the work.

MORE CONTENT!

I had an epiphany that the people who say you're releasing too much shit are the type who get "stuck" on something and want "figure it out." In fact, what they need is to be overwhelmed by EVEN MORE content.

The addition of external sources and best forum posts is bad-ass. But the more content the better. You say you're cheapening it this way, but this is the only way that a serious movement or platform is built. And the more content there is, the more difficult it will be to deny that this is clearly very possible. The more content that you have saying that this shit is not rocket science, the more people will be getting out there getting success.

Good vid but for this to make sense, guys have to 100% legitimately be enjoying the club to the point where the girls reactions don't even matter. You have to be having a fun time regardless of the girls and whether you get laid or not. This is difficult for most guys because we go to clubs to meet girls and not because we enjoy being in a crowded room with insanely loud techno music.

I myself do enjoy going out, don't mind the music or the fun party but theres always that underlying main reason I'm there, and thats to meet girls and get better at the game...otherwise, Id just go out and not even bother opening girls.

With that said..I love the dance floor because you can take a girl you met at the bar or in the general area and lead her to the dance floor where you can escalate. I think its difficult a lot of times to just barge in on a group of girls on the dance floor and expect them to just start making out with you.

I made a video awhile back on youtube in the same vein as this topic under the title RABBIT ACE

The rhythm of the enviornment is what everyone eventually synchs up to so to speak during a night. Women are more sensitive to it for some reason.

The MUSIC dictates what rhythm everyone is in. This can be seen in studies where people's heartbeats synch up to the music hey are listening to

The BASS effect I called it before

Get into a venue and acclimate to the music/rhythm of the night and you will notice you are more in state more often. Its like being in a musical where everything is timed perfectly to the music ques.

Ever notice when certain "sexy" songs come on in bars/clubs girls tend to get more "freaky"?

I will experiment more with this topic now that I see Owen doing this technique more, I've done this in the past but never noticed the connection to SOAKING UP THE FUN and MUSIC RHYTHM until now.

does the black strip over the girls eye's mean she doesnt know she is being video recorded?

and is that how you get around needing her permision to post this video?

or does she know she is on this site and gave her permission to be recorded and on RSD?

I dig both the "wants more of what she feels" fucking analogy and the "what's the technique to pay my bills with no money?" analogy, really clear examples.

I've just hit my 30s but a lot of my buddies are younger and we hit the 18-22yo clubs and I've been feeling like my bank account is empty in those enviros. This vid was a good reminder to make sure I'm filling my bank "half an hour ago", I'll be sure to push myself into building up the momentum earlier this weekend. I realize I've gotten in the habit over the past year of "checking out the club" and "getting a drink first" with my Natural buddies...it works for them, but it stalls me from filling that bank account up so I always feel like I'm playing catch-up to everyone else's energy.

Awesome content, and great in-field clips. "That's why your brain sucks" was so sharp and fast, you make a good case for downing all that damn brain-food you eat lol

Also lol @ 9:50 where the crowd illustrates an example of someone having fun followed shortly at 10:00 by what a lot of community guys (including myself some nights) probably look like. :D

Tyler, cool video and it inspired me to comment for the first time in a LONG while. I'm going to tell you my story because I think a lot of other guys are in the same position and it could be a good topic for a video!

I first learned about the pickup community when I read "The Game," which was way back in '06. Although I was really looking to get better with women, The Game actually turned me off of the whole community. I thought that memorizing routines and creating a "fake" personality seemed like a giant step AWAY from where I wanted to go... (was I really supposed to pretend to be into palm reading to trick some girl into liking me?)

Ultimately I think I had the right idea, but looking back I wish I gotten over my objections because it ended up functioning as an excuse to not get out there more. I had a stupid sort of pride attached to understanding that the Mystery Method/routine based stuff was gimmicky. I actually looked down on the whole pickup community.

Ironically I now realize had I just gotten over myself and tried the routine stuff I'd be much further along today, just from the sheer amount of experience talking to girls. Instead I went about my life with some (limited) success from girls in my social circle and occassionally picking up a girl at a bar.

So in any event, I recently rediscovered RSD (accidently while learning about internet marketing) and WOW... I'm loving the new content! So many of the new videos really resonate with where I'm at and I'm excited about going out to meet girls again.

So my question is this:

Given that a lot of your progress came from using routines for a while, would you recommend new guys use routines (or memorized stories from my own life) to a limited extent to get some momentum and experience, or would you just focus on the newer inner game stuff in all the videos?

In other words, is there something inherent to using routines that speeds up the learning curve (the confidence of always having something to say, getting further into your sets when you are just starting out etc) or is it just a coincidence that you used routines because that's what the community was at that time?

OK. Just finished the recommended doco:

Here are 3 of the big takeaways I got from the doco in case you're interested:

1) Sacks of Emotion
The idea that humans are sacks of emotion with unconscious animalistic tendencies (raised by Freud and popularised by his nephew Bernays) WORKS REALLY FKN WELL to SELL people products and ideas (markets and political leaders have benefited greatly from taking this view).

This is why the phrase, 'change her state, not her mind' works so fkn well – because it taps into the reality that we're mostly sacks of meat with massive emotional baggage from our animalistic past.

2) Rational & Selfless Beings
The other view is that humans can be rational and logical people that act in the best interests of themselves but also others. This comes up as a resistance time and again to point 1) throughout the 20th century – but continually FAILS. That said, it's still widely accepted in many circles such as economics. I remember Economics 101: 'ok class, economics assumes people are rational" --> EPIC FAIL. Just look at the fails that come from this reasoning (soviet union/communism). Inversely, look at the success that's come from explosing the view in point 1).

Game translation: 'don't rely upon logic - change her state'.

3) You're Under Control: Your Self Image = $$$

Back in the 10s and 20s people generally bought all the same shit - same model cars, same dresses etc - because factories didn't niche much. But after the great depression, business eventually caught onto the idea that there was more money to be made IN SELLING YOU THE IDEA THAT YOU ARE AN INDIVIUDAL. Hence consumerism: buy stuff to show everyhow what kind of an indivudal you are.

This is soo deeply entrenched in our society now it's fkn crazy... Just ask yourself, 'what does success look like?'
Probably 90% of what you see in your head comes from companies who have installed programs in your head to sell you stuff.

This is a great point for all those little faggot bitches out there. If you believe that products and looks are the difference, it's because MADISON AVENUE has SOLD you on the concept of SELF IMAGE. In other words, you're completely brainwashed by consumeristic social conditioning to believe, 'if i only have X product/status/etc, then I'll be cool. Wake up child. The only reason you believe that stuff is because they want your money.

4) Fuck What People Say - Instead, Watch What They Do
This is another important point for game. It's about what's really going on in the inside. During a focus group In the doco, women said they wanted a simple cake mix, but then didn't buy it because deep down they felt guilty. So what does betty crocker do? It enables them to transcend this guilt by adding an extra instruction to the packet 'add 1 egg to mixture'. By adding an egg, the housewives escape the guilt of feeling like 'it's too easy' and that they're not contributing to their husband's meal or whatever so now they buy more of betty crocker's products.

Similarly, a girl will often say that she doesn't like you, but still 'hang around'. The fact that she's in front of you shows that she's interested because she'd simply leave if she wasn't.

Watch it
Anyway, this was a great fkn doco. I made me feel a deep sense of wonder and helplessness at the mass unconsciousness of humanity. After all, the RSD community is part of the MINORITY and most of us humans are totally unconscious. Also, the future of politics is pretty scary – it's all super niched 'tell them what they want to hear' BS instead of quality leadership, 'I think we should do this because bla bla'.

Anyone else watch it?

Sweet club videos! Makes me really excited to see Hot Seat 3 and inside awesome clubs and venues across the country. I could definitely learn a few things about loud club game lol.

Thanks for the recommendation on that documentary, gonna check it out.

GREAT video! The 'law of state transference' is so true in crazy party settings, when I go to fraternity parties because of the loud music and chaotic environment you really have to be in a high-energy FUN state to get anything done.

Only thing that could have improved this video is some footage on how Tyler actually OPENS with that fun state, talking about it is one thing and we see footage of Tyler after he opens but I'd like to see the start of the interaction too, see what vibe he creates from the beginning that makes him so successful

One of the best videos recently. I think one of the problems people have when they get into this crazy party venues is they cant get out of character and have fun. Esspecially ceo's and people who take themselfs seriously or have some serious job. Its harder for them to let go and dance to silly music and atune to their lighthearted part of personality. Like there is constantly a thought in the back of the head saying : this is just not me... I am not for these parties. I am not this kind of guy

I really enjoyed the video really one of the best .the combination of infield and then an explanation really get my mind more into it and pump the energy and the emotion and get the point of the post really clearly.
