(Head's up -- it's all about HONOLULU HAWAII the next two weeks.  Free Tour is Thursday July 15th @ Cafe 2600 on 2600 King St., No. 101 -- by Varsity club which is hot on Thursday, so you can hit it up right after the event!!  Hot Seat and Bootcamp are the following week.  www.rsdfreetour.com / www.rsdhotseat.com / www.rsdbootcamp.com)

Happy Monday morning!!

I've just wrapped up back-to-back big weekends in Miami South Beach and Chicago with Brad.  Free Tour, Hot Seat, and Bootcamp style.  I'd say they keep getting better and better.

We've recorded "Free Tour" as well as "outdoor video tutorial" videos in Miami and Chicago (for your viewing and educational pleasure!).  These three-program weekends are busy as hell so we shoot somewhere interesting and blast them out -- "ONE TAKE TYLER" style so no editing or re-shoots at all.

(I've been playing with this as an opposite strategy to what I did with "Blueprint Decoded" where I took four years to put it out.  I'll evaluate how I like it when the big tour is over in January -- there won't be the same ongoing releases of videos as I'll have other projects then.)

Anyway today's vBlog was recorded the "morning after" the bootcamp at about 7AM.  It's so humid in Miami that we had to go back inside a few times to clean off the camera lens -- it kept getting fogged up.

This first clip is all me, and the second which comes out Wednesday is all Brad.  What will you learn when you click on the vid??

Well......what I'm going to reveal is my ongoing process to improving at meeting and attracting women.  The tweaks, and ongoing adjustments, which never end.

Anyway hope you enjoyed it, and that you're now inspired to cultivate YOUR OWN process towards continual improvement in this important (and f**ken fun!) area.

Check back in Wednesday for Brad's section (2 of 2) and let me know what you learned, what interests you about the video, or anything that's on your mind!

yeah i connected with this immediately.  I just went through a phase of trying too hard with this chick I hang with a lot through social circle and it literally culminated with me tonight realizing I tried too damn hard and therefore tanked with her.  I had some negative emotions about how I screwed up and made myself look like a fool with trying too hard but after watching this video I realized that exact balance that I need.  I also found out from this the exact definition of healthy negative emotions, which is what I feel right now.  I think what a healthy negative emotion is is just realizing you may have screwed up, but ultimately knowing your better off for it and then getting right back on track with your new awareness.  I'm glad this vid got posted right when I had the most use for it.

 Hey Tyler,

Good video. Anyways, I have a couple questions:

1) How do you gain more freedom from outcome when you have too much and intent, and 2) How do you do the opposite, and gain more intent when you have too much freedom from outcome. How would you say is the best way to keep that balance consistently? Thanks in advance.

Hey Tyler,

Nice video.  I'm curious about your opinion on a person's drive, because I think it's one thing that if you have a lot of it, you can achieve all other things like successfully implementing a habit, cultivating work ethic, and figuring out whatever problem you have, and I believe it helped you in the beginning when you were just starting the journey.  Do you believe people are born with a certain limit on their "drive" (i.e. some people just have more drive than others), or do you believe that it is something that can be cultivated?

Thanks.

Could intent in the context of pickup be:

1) Going direct
2) Physically escalating
3) Pushing for the close

Because im not 100% sure about it.

1. You think Brad looks cool because you're a RSD fag fanboy with no life.
2. You're a virgin who hates ppl who does get it.
3. You make useless posts like "Eeh how do I make women think my penis is big??" and shit like that, thereby the validity of your try-to-be-cool-at-the-internet-posts is close to zero.

Funny you say that because that's exactly what Tyler himself mentioned in Foundations. That if guys were to do the bare essentials they'd GET IT (and probably faster than trying to go out AND integrate 10 new mentalities everytime they log onto RSDN).

See the main forum and tell me how many different topics of concern are listed. Then go and ask a successful person how success happens. You'll see that there's a weird mismatch. Success happens when you do things ONE AT A TIME without overloading your head with info that's absolutely irrelevant to the moment.

I'm not the only one realizing that information overload actually SLOWS DOWN learning. Learning happens through first-hand experience. Those are the CLICKS and "AHAs" you get when you're out.

Those are the events you should be worshiping - your own personal victories. Not an online blog of SOMEONE ELSE'S victories.

We aren't talking going to the club and picking up girls, we are talking total mastery of picking up girls. Yes you can go to the club without any of this, but these are to build principles to become masters. This sort of thing enters the subconcious, when you learn theory and you get in the moment, these principles will flow without requiring you to think about them.

Think of a great high school basketball player, if he is in state and not thinking it doesn't mean he's as good as Michael Jordan. You can still furthur inhance your "in state" if you couldn't we'd all be at the same level.

I noticed you get reactive towards criticism on the internet.  Realize that people wouldn't say these things to your face, and EVERYTHING people say REALLY IS a reflection of what they think about THEMSELVES -- so it's not your issue at all.

This dude was sort of kidding around (although in a way that wasn't that funny) and you interpreted him as being serious.  I've had the same issues at times and observed it in myself -- helped me a lot to fix it.

Usually when we refer to "outcome dependence" it's about having an emotion in your body that wants the girl to like you, instead of screening her.

Yeah the ideas in the video helped me massive.  The natural tendency when you're having an "off" night is to TRY HARDER (ie: get more aggressive, proactive, etc).

What I realized was that it's better to put myself more into the zone, more into the moment, etc.  It comes easy because I've done it for years, but I often forget.

I thought this was the best vid yet, excellent stuff. It's good to see you are watching some Eckhart Tolle TV too ;)

I think I remember seeing you with a fully shaved head, and from what I remember it looked pretty cool, so maybe that dude is right; you should get a hair cut.

This stuff is hilarious:

If Brad was actually "thinking" about this stuff he would not have cool friends like Tyler, and vice versa.  It must be weird to have anonymous guys on the internet analysing everything you do, although I guess it serves Tyler right, cos he used to do this too!

Much respect. I've never heard another any other PUA instructor as honest about his faults as his success.

And lol @ the ppl saying Naturals don't think about this theory shit. That's why they're naturals. They never had to think about too much.

They'll introduce an idea like outcome independence vs intent because they feel like it's worth the mental energy to think about, rather than a video about how you need to always be facing ppl at a 45 degree angle.

Wow lots of interesting words and ideas here. The video itself is fairly straightforward. But everyone takes it a different way. Of course Tyler struggles sometimes, every human struggles at even the things they are pro at. Kobe Bryant struggles.

Naturals HAVE thought about theory, but it's just so ingrained in them that they don't need to think about it anymore. They just ACT. They are hardwired to just ACT accordingly. This is something I strive to do.

Since many of us on RSD have joined to IMPROVE our overall sense of being, it is rather ovbious that we will try to read, learn, and APPLY the theories taught.
I very much agree with the point that reading and reading will only do so much. APPLICATION is the only route to perfection. I've already applied what I've learned here and it is showing results.
The intent vs freedom of outcome is GOLD. I've been playing around with it and finding the right balance is key, and when you do, game over until the next one rolls around.

Nice Video.

I have been recently thinking about this, "Intent vs Freedom of out come" since doing Anthony Robbins "Time Of Your Life" and having read/heard/seen ALLOT of Tolle would have to agree it is a FiNE balance, so nice example you gave.

The way I like to look at it is: Your on holidays driving from location (A) heading too location (B). You set your GPS to your destination,(Your Outcome) and begin to drive. Once you've programmed your GPS do you have to keep thinking or worrying about how to get there? NO. You can now sit back and enjoy the drive admiring the scenery. You may from time to time just quickly glance at your gps to see where your at in the journey, but no need to obsesses, weather you'll arrive or not.

You still Know your: Outcome & have Freedom Of Out Come. Now you got Balance. Now you have an underlying EASE in all that you do.

Peace. wink

What happened to me today doing day game, and that`s a thing that happens to me when i go very direct, is that i opened the girl like that.

C:  Hey, this jacket is real or fake leather?

HB:  whatever..

C: Actually, never mind, i want to meet you....

From here she smiles, but she was like blocked, she told me that his boyfriend was waiting for her, but then she told that, it was a lie, but, i don`t know maybe if im so direct i need to be less reactive.

What do you think?

Cheers.
