Tyler

Hey there!

The Alex Hot Seat 2 launch has been a big success, and if you're interested in doing the event I'd suggest you get over to...

www.alexanderhotseat.com

He's offering some really high value bonuses if you sign up this week, so definitely reserve your spot right now if you want to go.

I was with Alex in Los Angeles while he spent MONTHS working morning until night to add all sorts of new features to his infield video selection, and the game and girls he's pulling in the videos are absolutely mind boggling.

People rave about his event, so again, definitely check it out if you think he could benefit you.  There's a lot of unique ideas that aren't covered in the traditional Hot Seat, as well as the foundations of learning that make any Hot Seat a total steal.

--

Aside from that, I've been in Santa Barbara this week attending the "Spiral Dynamics" seminar with Dr. Don Beck.

He's getting pretty old so I'm so happy to get to meet and learn from him while he's still alive.

Do a search on "Spiral Dynamics" if you want to see what I'm spending the week here learning about, also highly recommended!

(Here's some cool images...)

https://www.google.com/search?q=spiral+dynamics&biw=1440&bih=748&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ei=hnBHU-78JKiR8AG5jICQBA&ved=0CAYQ_AUoAQ

I've also got a great video of my own for you this week, on the topic of MOTIVATION!

I'm very psyched to release it because I think it has the foundation of what makes me so inspired.

From there I'll be heading to Orlando this week for Free Tour, Hot Seat, and Bootcamp!

There will probably be a phenomenal special guest at the Free Tour at 6PM so if you're anywhere in Florida I'd urge you to attend.  Wherever you are in Florida, seriously seriously get over to the Free Tour.

(Otherwise don't say I didn't warn you...)

Here's my other upcoming dates as well!

April 17, 2014: Orlando
May 1, 2014: Denver
May 14, 2014: Dallas (with Julien)
June 12. 2014: New York
June 26, 2014: Chicago
July 17, 2014: Los Angeles
August 21, 2014: San Francisco

You can also reach my homeboys on the phone who will answer any questions you have about events and save you the time from even clicking these buttons.  They're young guys who go hard in the game and know their stuff, and will be happy to sort you out.

TODAY'S VIDEO

So today's video is on the topic of motivation.

If you've ever wondered how I always seem so amped up all the time, this video has the answers.

I've been waiting to release something like this for many years, so I'm really happy to be putting this out.

(Someday I'll release mountains of content like this.)

CHECK IT OUT...

Nice!

Anyway I'm going to crash out after a very long day, but guess what?

Next week I'll be releasing the SEQUEL to this video on LONG GAME MOTIVATION as well.

So we'll be going deeper into the Red Woods forest and the "Valley Of The Giants" to delve deeper into this topic.

Hit me back with your thoughts and ideas!

Thanks!

One of the best videos yet. I love the defiant declaration/mission statement of your attitude toward sex. I find this really helpful in not being ashamed of my own sexuality against so much mainstream pressure.

Cool ya whatever works for you.

I've spent the past week in a seminar, which is something I do year round.

I'll be reading and learning from people til I'm dead because IME it's the folks making half a million a year who think they can't learn from the guy making 9 figures, meanwhile Warren Buffett spends most of his day reading and learning from people.

I'm on your videos daily now dude. Had some pitfalls but overall I feel the change. Every video is inspires me more and more like that fucking X Man character that runs through walls and builds momentum. "Juggernaut"?

In my oinion you're ahead of your time, a mad genius, a Silo of Grand Luminosity even. I dunno what the last thing meant but yeah, thanks for all the good stuff.

Great stuff, for some reason I had a smile on my face throughout the whole video.

I was actually rewatching the Truth About Success free tours just recently because I got sloppy with my diet and hobby (music) and I think you mentioned the shift in personalities there which reminded me of the important implication that has, and now this came up perfectly because you hammered on that part specifically.

So yeah, thanks for the superb ideas, I'm sure this will reasonate with many people.

Got my final exams, I don't even go out anymore. I don't even approach hahaha. Still watching Tyler's videos [most of them], and may even relisten. It is the highest self help I could find on the net.

The haze analogy to depression was great. Great video quality as well.

Yeah, thinking of chain effects (long-term thinking) and how others are affected really fits with what I'm trying to condition myself with right now, I notice improved action from myself if I do that.

I love how you don't degrade 'lower goals' but instead see them as something that could be useful as well. So not this or that, but both levels complementing each other (or maybe that's just how I interpreted it). Eye-opener, thanks!

Tyler.......i'm having problems where socially i'm fine, i'm 29 now and went out solo on my first ever night out aged 17 in a different city i'd never been to before. The 2nd biggest city in the UK.
I had the drive to go out because of the music/djs that were on there. And i never had a social circle or friends to rely on and i though but why should i miss out on the music i enjoy because i haven't got anyone to go with. I also went to my first ever music festival on my own for the same reasons. At both i chatted to girls i didn't know and was sociable with guys.
I never even knew about pickup back then or googled "how to go out alone" I just did it.
I'm an outgoing guy, social guy and when i look back i never had any externals. I just did it. It was natural to me.

But the thing is, in a job, in my work life. I've been in and out of work, been let go in jobs.
I try my best, i work hard, make notes etc.... but i struggle, and take longer to pick things up than other people do and i struggle to meet the targets and demands in the job. I'm also less confident in a job when talking to staff about work related stuff. I thought maybe i have ADD.
I'm looking at a book about it called - find your focus zone by lucy jo palladino. Check it out.

But my problem is i'm the opposite to most people - they have a job, one they might not enjoy but they can keep and do well in it. They learned to drive and have a car, they have a social circle, they meet their gf's through it.

Where with me, i'm in and out of work, even though i try, i stopped my driving lessons cos i wasnt really into cars so much and because i wasnt picking it up quick enough,...even my instructor said i was slower than most people at learning to drive.
I've had social circles mainly through jobs i had come and go.
But i have no probs going to clubs i like solo and no probs approaching girls, wether it be mixed group or group of girls.
So socially i'm outgoing and people like my personality etc.
But in jobs i struggle to keep them and can't hit the targets so i get let go.

Any advice you can give me after reading into this.
Thanks

I've been depressed these couple of weeks, an these videos do help! defining my purpose/dreams (the 'why'), as simple as that may sound, has actually made me feel what I really want in life and helped me a lot.
Thanks Tyler for consistently being an inspiration! (most people I admire - and these are really topnotch guys-  are basically boring once I've already got their message), your one of the rare ones that keep on shining. hehe
Peace, and thanks again

I still don't get the whole having a wifey and kids cheating on her thing, but fuck it, you're probably the biggest influence on my life as far as hard work goes.

I grew up having it easy because of my parents and it's affected my work ethic, and I don't know how to fix that part of myself.

I have gotten really great results producing music but I feel like that has come mostly from talent. I mean I have come a long ways, but I know that there has been plenty of wasted time. What is the best way to fucking get one's self to utlize their time? I feel like kind of a bitch in that sense. It's like I get so distracted to easily and I don't know how to fix it.

I'm drunk as fuck right now because I love being drunk and don't have the will power to actually stay sober and go out alone to the bars where I can actually have more options when it comes to picking up women. And it's the same story, I've fucked college cheerleaders, but I'm in a rut right now but can't seem to just man up and fucking go out and fix it. And of course I admit this shit to myself when I'm drunk.

Sorry man, drunk rant. But hey, truth comes out when you're drunk right?

The EWOKS have been introduced in Return of the Jedi, not Empire Strikes Back.

Shame on you Tyler, and even more shame on the tens of commenters here who pretended to ignore that just so they wouldn't be considered nerds for watching Star Wars.

Otherwise, a great vid.

Hey, Tyler:

After all these years, this is actually my first post here! Just by way of reference, you recommended George Leonard's "Path to Mastery" to me during a Hot Seat in NY after a brief conversation with you. Not sure if' you'll remember this as you meet thousands of people all the time.

Anyhow, the point that I find interesting in this video is the concept regarding our two selves, the one that seeks long term goals, and the other one that seeks instant gratification. Seems to me like the self that seeks instant gratification over powers the self that seeks long term goals in most instances.

The question is how to condition ones self so that our internal compass is more aligned with the self that seeks long term goals and is able to control the urge towards short term gratification that we are bombarded with all the time.

Cheers,
Kojo

I got a question Owen: What is your criteria to discriminate the good info from bad info these days with so much sources with good marketing but poor content?

Agreed that learning everyday is a must, but what is your criteria to know what to look for? You just look stuff based on your current needs/plateaus/challenges? or get advice from other mentors?

Thanks!

Do you have any advice on alligning and motivating your APATHETIC SELF to your higher goals? I've pretty much handled my day to day concerns, and I tend to switch between massive inspiration and soul-crushing apathy where I don't care about any of my goals.

This video is the answer to the sticking point that i had months ago, when i was fucking and having success but i wasn´t driven to push forward, since then i started to tap on higher self goals and push the fuck up.

This really connected with me:
Day to day goals: pushes to establish male normalcy (getting laid) but once you have the lifestyle you have no incentive to become world class.
