Tyler

So I wanted an excuse for a quick escape to Vegas, and shooting up a few videos about the upcoming World Summit was the perfect excuse -- it's August 2nd - 7th, 2010 btw.

This one was shot outside the Wynn hotel after one of the most fun nights of my life (seriously...).  I was planning to shoot the next morning, but realized that I'd probably be too tired and decided to drag my poor cameraman out at 6AM to do it.

(Notice the sun came up?  Original video was 14 minutes and showed the whole thing -- but when I later realized Youtube only allows 10 minute clips I decided to cut it down.)

...and then this one, which shows that I was RIGHT in the assumption I'd be too tired to shoot a promo, was shot inside Treasure Island hotel the next morning.

I wanted to shoot something to give you an example of what inexpensive hotels are like in Vegas, in case you're psyched to attend and trying to plan for the logistics and expenses of your trip.

Anyway take 5 seconds and click over RIGHT NOW to see the Summit page in more detail.

www.rsdworldsummit.com

...or hit up Stuart and Huey, who are very cool dudes, at:  1-888-546-7286

Alright so I also wanted to share some lessons I gained from going out that night.  My buddy and assistant Nick who is VERY GOOD with cold approach pick up (been with around 50 or 60 girls in the past year) decided that the weekend away from bootcamp was the perfect opportunity to get SHIT FACED DRUNK!

While I personally have little interest in alcohol -- found it to make the mind soft and complacent -- it was interesting to see how being completely drunk out of his mind both dramatically improved as well as destroyed his game.

(...in a very dramatic fashion!)

On positive side, the dude was approaching with more funny-aggression and intent than I've ever seen in my entire life.  Honestly I've never witnessed anything like it.

(Keep in mind that Nick is typically an unbridled maniac in his approaches, so to say it was EVEN MORE extreme means that you'll have to use your imagination.  Basically he was fully out of control -- I thought he might even get himself kicked out.)

It was amazing to watch as women would be immediately attracted -- every single approach would open to a lot of giggling, shock, and sexual interest from the girls.

Conversely, the girls would usually lose interest about 30 seconds in, as they'd realized that it was "liquid courage".  I'd cover for him by talking him up and saying how awesome he is, and they'd be into it for a while and even make out with him in a few cases, but then they'd eventually bounce out.

Lucky for ME -- I was FULLY INSPIRED by seeing just how far you could go with this, and mimicked his level of "out of control" while staying sober and sharp.

It was like "the lights are on...and SOMEONE'S HOME!!" :)

The momentum I got from this experience I feel I've maintained, and built off of it ever since.  Again -- I knew you could show a lot intent, but DAMN, you can really show a LOT of intent.

I also bumped into one of Brad's ex-students towards the end of the night -- a really inspiring young dude who came to Los Angeles from Norway and was in Vegas BY HIMSELF for the weekend.  We hit it up for the remainder of the night and had a really fun time.  Take note of this young dude's initiative and courage -- if he can do it, well, you know how this sentence ends. :)

Anyway the night was hysterical.  One I'll never forget.

Are you coming to the World Summit?  Life is about experiences -- and this is one that YOU will never forget.  (I also happen to think life is about finding any excuse possible to get to Vegas -- and this happens to be a great one.)

My experience at Summit last year was one of the top five of my life.  Including my son being born, travelling to Africa, the Napali Coast, and certain, *ahem*, other experiences I'd throw in there as well.

It really is THAT much of an experience -- both in my own eyes, and the opinions of the many attendees who approached and spoke with me about it throughout the week.

It pisses me off that I can't describe this in words -- but think about the experience that the audience had with Blueprint Decoded, "multiply that by about 5" (as Brad would say very laughably in the below video -- which note is a sad amateur scrap compared to the detailed, subtle, high quality videos we reveal to you at the event) and that's about what you can expect. :)

Anyway psyched to see you there!!  Would love to hear about any similar "epiphanies" with raging drunken game. :)

Another great website for cheap airplane tickets is www.momondo.com

CNN voted it the best search engine for tickets on the market and I always use it for my travels. I'll be somewhere en route from Brazil to China during Summit times, so I unfortunately won't make it.

Wish all the people who sign up a great experience.

Speaking of being drunk, the way that I see things is if your someone who stays
sober then you might end up having to look after people. You might end up making a few
bucks in the process though, like when I brought home some people from the bar I made some money.
Thats not to say that you have to though, you could just be by yourself. I wouldnt bring back any strange
people lol, some are just too demonic in my eyes or even if I know just to leave them alone.
Which is understandable to some, but not truly to others.
Also just because someone is totally wasted, peferably a woman to bring her to your hotel
while she is still fucked up, doesnt mean that someone couldnt control themselves at all.
Like say if me and you Tyler were at the bar and I was a bit drunk like at a 18+ goth club
and id trust you to do most of the talking and hook me up with a hot girl. Even though
I don't drink, which is mainly for staying in decent shape regarding to my health, I find girl holding
a beer pretty hot, even though its just glass. Id find it strangely funny otherwise, at a club lol.
Id generally rather see people holding books rather than beer but thats my own opinion.
Well thats my thoughts on beer and responsibility.

I love how with these videos, every socially uncalibrated freak comes out of the woodwork to micro-analyze your every mannerism as though they are somehow the authority on being cool and normal. It generates within me a strange mixture of amusement and revulsion.

"hahah YEAH! I tole Tyler he stutters and pays too much for lip balm yo!"

Awesome post Tyler.

I'm seriously thinking of going to the Summit, however I've got a small problem: If I go, I'm basically spending all my savings from a long time ago until now, about 1500$, where 500$ is the ticket and 1000$ is the trip (I live in Europe). Let's not mention I've never been to a foreign country before and this, if it does happen, is going to be a reality breaker in more than one way.

But, the major thing holding me back is the lodging. I'm considering I have 1500$ already taking into account future money I'll be getting working during the summer. So, if it was like in a normal city, where you can get lodging for 30-50$ a night in a youth hostel or something, I would be able to go. But Vegas... lodging for 30-50$? No way.

Not to consider I have to make this decision before the first 250 places are filled or else I'm even gonna have to pay more. Jesus, money comes hard. Haha.

Could anyone give me information on Vegas lodging? I read on the Summit sales letter thingy there are "dirt-cheap hotels in Vegas" at this time of the year. How cheap? Could anyone provide some info? I've tried looking it up on the web, to no avail. Travel sites only show me 500$ a night hotels.

And one more small question. I know this isn't very relevant, but do attendees get physical material or are allowed to take notes? I read on the Summit sales letter that the footage/videos/etc are not allowed outside the presentation rooms nor any either kind of media. So does that mean we only get physical coaching, no DVD/notes/physical artifacts to bring back home? I don't care that much, it's just curiosity actually.

Thanks for all the support guys, keep up the great work!

Oh, and the woman at the counter when you bought the chapstick had a weird voice. But as in WEIRD voice.

Ok... So I went to summit last year.  And my honest opinion.  It was the best thing I've done in YEARS.  Cannot stress enough how much you should go!

Boot camp was one amazing transformation.  But then let's take that and stretch it out a week with countless gorgeous girls, lots of carefree partying, and hundreds of cool people to hang out with.  I think you get my point!  There's no need to ask about somebody else's experiences with another girl... because you too can be having those same if not even greater experiences yourself!

Summit will open your eyes to that...  Anybody can nickel and dime enough money especially several months out to make it to the summit and put the money to something will change your life for the better :)

Just my two cents!

Haaa, yeah as I was creating the video -- which is meant to give examples of how you don't have to spend a lot to stay in Vegas for World Summit -- I thought to myself, "I wonder if the fact I just paid three dollars for a chap stick will freak people out -- even though you can get a 69 cent chapstick downstairs at the Walgreens and I'm just too lazy to walk down."

Then I thought "Nawwwww NOBODY will think that."  :)

Buuuuuut I like all discussion on my threads.  Hate to admit it, I've debased myself of "attention whore" on the front page of RSDN -- all comments are good comments.

Did you guys notice I take a slight pause in second 3:05 to 3:06 -- like you can see I'm slightly thinking about that Russian lesbian pop group "Tatoo"??  They're pretty cool and it kinda put me in my head.  In seconds 11:06 to 13:09 I think I was kind of beta'ing myself to the fat lady from Idaho who was looking at me.  She was giving me mad weird vibes and I was like "What's up with this bitch??"  Kinda made me look beta though. :(

Let's not mention I've never been to a foreign country before and this, if it does happen, is going to be a reality breaker in more than one way.

Thanks dude!  Honestly I don't know what to tell you -- all I can say is it's a personal choice, and the last Summit was a super fun experience with a lot of learning and value that continues to help you in the long term.

I'm very aware of how many dudes who attend are further ahead in their finances (and it's basically nothing to them), but how there's also many guys who are younger and need to manage their cashflow if they wanna come.  THIS ONE ISSUE is actually the "linchpin" of everything I do in RSD -- I always ask myself "If I'm a young dude who saved for this like six months, would I be psyched about the decision?"

Literally this is what I say over and over in my head, to my team who teaches with me, etc.  It's one of the reasons I took so long to put out Blueprint, why I'm taking so long with Relationship Transition -- I'm like "If I'm charging a few hundred bucks for this, is it worth it??"

Again it's a decision you have to assess based on your personal situation at the time -- there's plenty of learning opportunities that I'm foregoing right now but that I'll take up in the future when the timing is better.  But I thought it would be cool to mention that I take this into consideration -- there's always an advantage to going sooner than later, in the sense that you're aligning your path in life in a better direction, so as you're moving along your journey you're going straight from Point A to Point B, and not sideways or backwards.

After starting to workout because of Alex's article I'm getting pumped up on endorphines which is causing me to develop a oneitis on myself. Never felt this awesome in my life.

Been cooking broccoli and taking fishoil like you said but I haven't been able to completely lay off the alcohol though.

I'm about to bike for 20 min over to Sharkeez at Hermosa Beach and came back yesterday from 3 nights in Hollywood together with a chode buddy.

That Stiffler Video clicked for me in Hollywood and I'm finding that I WANT to loop myself in a positive state, starting to get rid of my trollish tendencies.

Can't express my appreciation in words for you people man! Thanks!

Dude!!!

I learned practically all my dancefloor game from a drunk guy!!!

I go up to this girl and try to dance with her and she's not into it at all...

THEN! This SUPER FUCKING DRUNK GUY comes over, GRABS her body and slams her against his manliness from behind and just cavemanned her fucking HARD CORE.

She danced with him while I'm standing there watching like OM F-ing G.

I danced with so many girls that night!!!

Ha ha ha ha ha!!

I now rarely get blown out on my dance floor game.

Lesson: watch drunk men. Do what they do.

I like the "Lights on and SOMEONE'S HOME" thing. Nice!

At the imperial palace you can get CHEAP rooms (depending on how much you wanna pay im pretty sure you can get 25/night). Plus the palace is RIGHT in the middle of allthe sick clubs and not even a 5-10 minute walk from where the conference takes place.
If you're serious about rsd the summit is about the best thing you can invest in.

You can take as many notes as you'd like (BRING A NOTEBOOK... or two ;) )
I can't tell you how amazing summit is/was. You've gotta experience it for yourself.

I was speaking to alex and he told me something along the lines of 'take care of your personal finances first, THEN bootcamp(/summit)/' As long as you've got yourself handled at home, you won't regret making it to the summit.

Guys, thanks for all the feedback.

I'd like to ask another small thing, also money related . I was now taking a peek at the checkout page of RSD Summit, and it says something as: Ticket price, 500$, deposit of 1500$ total. Does this mean we have to pay 1500$ and we get 1000$ back?

It's because I can pay 500$, but there is no way I can get 1500$. I'm dying just to handle the airplane ticket and lodging prices!

And also, can someone predict how soon will the early bird tickets be filled? They're 250 total, but do they fill up in 2 days or in 20 days? Does anyone, maybe one of the instructors, have an ideia of how long it takes? Just wanted to know the deadline to make my decision.

Hey dude --

World Summit = $1500.  Deposit = allows you to reserve your spot with only $500 now, and the rest later.  Not sure when early bird seats will fill as it's based on demand -- I'd call and ask Stuart and Huey if you're interested.

Yeah Imperial Palace is pretty popular -- known for being extremely inexpensive and still a decent room.
