Tyler's Blog

Tyler

Hey there!

I just got back from a 2 week extended trip to Chicago and NYC!

In the past three weeks I've run consecutive events in LA / Chi / NYC and DAMN my voice is shot!

The turnouts in these cities were MONSTROUS.  Seas of people in the crowds, it was nuts!  RSD is getting pretty popular these days, I'm getting stopped all through the day in the streets and the reactions are pretty intense.

(Julien I bet you're gonna have a wild ride in London and Amsterdam buddy!  I'd suggest you wear a microphone to avoid shooting your voice out over the big crowds, I got cocky and thought I didn't need it...)

All the while I was sleeping about 4 hours a night (nearly 2 weeks straight of this) in order to shoot about 20 different vblog locations and infield footage, which I'm going to be working into the next few weeks of videos.

I love shooting in Chicago and NYC because they're just great locations, and my goal was to step it up in those cities to challenge myself to improve.

I've honestly been borderline disgusted with myself for not producing better content than I've been doing -- not because it hasn't been awesome but cause I can do SO MUCH BETTER! -- and the hard part is simply MANAGING THE TIME to get it done.

I have so many ideas in my head I dream about every night -- last night I had hours of new video ideas in my dreams that were brilliant and insane -- but like most people I struggle with balancing the time teaching / gaming / working / parenting / reading / working out / meditating / sexing whores / living passions to get them done.

Regardless I thought I'd "start small" and up the quality of my vids, so you'll see that in the coming weeks.  Then in the future I'll try to keep building on it.

Today's video is actually a pretty simple video, as I just got back into town yesterday and rushed to get it out.  It's got some good stuff in it though, I think you'll like it a lot!

Also if you're gonna be attending any Hot Seat events with me, head's up it is all NEW FOOTAGE and been fully upgraded to "Hot Seat 3".

The reviews for this event have been off the charts, as people expect nothing but the best from Julien and myself and we have delivered for you.

We're going to be doing the official Hot Seat 3 launch soon, and one of the bonuses will be a FULL YEAR GLOBAL PASS to attend any HS3 events in the world with Julien and myself for a year.

While I haven't officially launched that bonus yet, anyone who signs up will get it so if you're doing an HS3 event with me you're good to go.

My upcoming event is in San Francisco so if you're near NorCal I'll see you there!  Here's my upcoming schedule for Free Tour, Hot Seat 3, and Bootcamp...

June 6, 2013: San Francisco
June 27, 2013: Boston (With Julien)
July 4, 2013: Washington DC
July 25, 2013: Honolulu (with Julien)
August 22, 2013: Seattle
September 5, 2013: Atlanta
September 19, 2013: Austin
October 3, 2013: Philadelphia

I have a 3 person team that handles ALL of your questions about RSD events -- Stuart, Huey, and David -- all guys in their 20's who are highly active in the game and pimp it with instructors personally, call them any time to talk game or ask any questions you want!

EUROPE: +44 (0) 2079 934 034
AUSTRALIA: +61 280 155 522

We also have the Las Vegas RSD World Summit coming up in August!

COOL UPDATE ON SUMMIT:  We've just upgraded it where anyone who signs up this year (starting this year if you pay to attend) are grandfathered into attend any RSD World Summit for LIFE!

FULL LIFETIME PASS!  YOU CAN ATTEND AS LONG AS WE ARE RUNNING THE EVENT IN VEGAS FOR YEARS TO COME!!

I get it that this is pretty unexpected and intense, but I felt it was the least I could do for anyone who takes so much time off of work to attend the event, and everyone makes so many friends there so it's a perfect chance to meet up with buddies year after year and reinforce the new skills.

What is World Summit, if you're not in the know?

Imagine a week in Vegas with the whole RSD crew, seminar in Venetian Hotel all day, going out all night! It's pure fucking insanity, people die to get to this all year!

If you want an event that will MAKE YOUR YEAR consider coming to hang out with us in Vegas for the week. There's plenty of ways to do it within budget, and the program is super reasonably priced.

Life is short. When an adventure like Summit is available, get on it..

TODAY'S VID

So we're going to rock into the first of the videos I shot while on the road, which is a very simple vid on the topic of "Billionaire's self comfort".

The concept:  If you had EVERYTHING IN LIFE you could want, you'd be less inclined to EMOTIONALLY REACT to external bullshit.

(Is this fully true?  Of course not.  But just play with the concept, you'll get the idea...)

This is a topic I've kept in my mind for years, because I've had a ton of success but also a lot of bullshit thrown at me, and it's how I've basically become chill to all of it.

This is a video I've created for the RSDN forum as well, since I think this is one of the best examples of people having trouble with this.

Anyway it's got some good content and funny moments in it, so check it out!

CLICK THIS VIDEO TO DISCOVER THE SECRETS OF BILLIONAIRE'S SELF COMFORT...

Hope you enjoyed this one!

I was actually bothered by the background noise didn't release this, but in the past people have told me "We don't care about background noise, STILL put the vid out!"

Did you notice it / find it distracting?  Curious to know for future vids...

Regardless some of the best moments from the vid had audio that came out fine.

<>==============================<>

GO DEEPER -- CLASSIC VID

The video you just watched is an extension of a previous vid I shot in front of the World Trade Center a year back.

Having just come from NYC where the new tower is almost complete (and looks cool as hell -- I shot a few flashes of it into my upcoming vids so you'll see...) I'm so psyched I shot this while it was only partially done.

The topic is, again, that self comfort and unreactiveness -- but from a frame of "assuming all attention is positive" regardless.

Click the vid and check it out...

You're now fully educated on this concept!

GOOD JOB!

Now get out there and continue not to give a fuck! :)

<>=========================================<>

EXTERNAL RESOURCE OF THE WEEK

Talking about someone who doesn't give a fuck, I think there's few better examples than Mike Tyson lol.

I'm not sure if it's cause he's crazy or just cause he's "made it in life" like we talked about above, but he's someone whose unfiltered honesty is really hard not to watch,

I've included a few clips here that I loved from the amazing movie "Tyson" which everyone who sees it seems to really love.

...on how he transformed from unfocused to "buying in"

...and on psychological dominance and intimidation :)

If someone has the full length documentary please post in the comments below!

Hope you enjoyed!

Great video, as usual ;)

Man, your editing skills are getting better and better.

The only problem that i have with this kind of mentality is the chilled vibe, 99% of the time.
When i start just asking myself that question "would i care if i was well rested, if i had all the money in the world, etc.", the answer is 99% of the time "no, i wouldn't care", and it really frustrates me.
Coz' you never can let go and just get super pissed off, because nothing is a big deal.

But that's just me.

Amazing necklace by the way, where did you get it ?

It's like you're describing me, just without the pulling. :-) I must be in this state, otherwise i often get anxiety attacks, but it's getting better with practice. Lose the deep V-neck shirts, man, they're gay. Still loving the clip and all your work. :-)

Lol the cutaways and the bit in the Willis had me lolling. Freak those kids out! When I went it was the opposite, kids were jumping on the glass freaking me the fuck out!

This notion of reactivity has been a work in progress for me for the past two years, but even now I still find myself being the most reactive person at times especially around someone in authority like my boss, the police or bouncers in a club.

In fact I felt this was such an important glitch in my character that it actually motivated me to go out and cold approach more regularly. My theory being if I can consistently put myself in front of girls I'd never met and put up with their shit and remain unreactive then over time I'd toughen up and desensitise myself to social situations in other areas of my life like my boss.

I figure to hell with their social status, they're gonna respect me far more coming from a place where I see them as equals than a position of supplication or looking up to them.

Its early days, but I'm confident this is the right course of action.

Funny thing about that Mike Tyson video. He said that when he fought Evander Holyfield, that Evander never ever looked away from his eyes, and that's what freaked him out so much during that fight.

Nice video Tyler. Definitely add more of that humor side to all your videos from now on. Makes it more engaging. One video that's long overdue is your daily routine aka "What I Did While You Didn't Do It" video.

Haha, great video.  The background noise didn't bother me.  I wouldn't care if the screen was blank and it was audio only and if the audio was bad quality.  All I care about is the content.

The video was hilarious.  NY freetour was like a legitimate standup comedy show for the first half hour.  HS3 was crazy good.  I love the stuff coming from RSD these days.

Cus sounds a lot like Elmer Fudd. Seriously.

Curious how different Tyson's career would have been had he not passed in the twilight of Tyson's career.

Its cool too hearing Tyson talk about being scared his first amateur career.

Interestingly, we hear the samething happen to instructors and coaches when out of state or whatever.

Great video Tyler. I loved the Mike Tyson video. Tyson's my favourite athlete and is by far the most exciting fighter to have ever competed. If Cus hadn't died so soon and/or Mike had developed his emotional fitness more and deconditioned himself from the influences of his childhood and the terrible neighborhood he grew up in, he would have easily gone down as the best fighter ever. Not only is Tyson a great example of "not giving a fuck", he's also a great example of how hard work and dedication pays off (rather than talent), and how getting lazy, especially when you're at the top, will knock you off your pedestal and humble you in a second. His loss to Buster is evident of that. The ups and downs of his career were incredible and now he's doing very well and he seems to have finally found peace with himself. Goes to show how long it can sometimes take to decondition influences of the past. Anyway, thanks for another amazing post Tyler!!

Like any concept there's two sides to this. On one hand, its nice to not be reactive. On the other hand, whats wrong with getting pissed? I'm a dynamic human being, you fuck with me, you bet I'm going to get angry. Again it's all about balance and using your own head. If you had 3 dudes, tooling you hard infront of a chick. And one of them dropped "LOL, look at this chode, hes scared to get pissed" How would that look? Like youre resisting the urge to get pissed.
[='Comic Sans MS'][/]
It might be useful to add that if someone with absolutely no value to you starts tooling you, ignore them, turn your back on them, etc.

I have four little brothers so i had to develop the ability of  "not giving a fuck" in order to stay sane, i don't even have my own room.

Sometimes for example when someone said  something to hurt me that he/she thought that was smart and i ignored compleatly some people thought that ignored it because i couldn't come up with a counterattack.
Only few people really understood that i didn't just  give a fuck..

I love watching Mike Tyson clips. I have spent too many hours watching his fights and his antics outside the ring.

I don't really know either if he is just straight crazy or not. I actually feel that he is tapped into some primal/animal think system, just in a totally different headspace from most people. I guess that would be the same as crazy.

Either way he scares the shit out of me LOL

TYLER --

Full documentary is on a streaming site called Putlocker. Might get a few pop-ups at the start but after that it's smooth sailing.

...This messageboard isn't letting me including the URL! So, Google search "Tyson documentary streaming"...click the first link at Alluc.to...top of the list where it says Putlocker, click on "full movie"...click on "continue as free user"...bingo. Might get a couple pop-ups but after that it's fine.

Hope that helps. Enjoy.
