Anyway ya, just got back from a super intense 2 week trip to the East Coast.
Been recording and recording new stuff lately, challenging myself to step it up and seeing what I need to do in order to take it to a next level.
Stayed up all night cutting this one up for you -- a sick new vid shot on the Brooklyn Bridge.
I've got about 20 new vids shot and I'm psyched to sit in with my editor for like a week straight and get them all chopped up and ready to go, when I get a chance.
I'm also psyched to take my annual trip to HONOLULU HAWAII with Julien in the next few weeks. We run a Bootcamp and Hot Seat out there every year that people travel in for, and it's out of this world.

TODAY'S VID
So on my travels to New York I had a chance to tour around and visit some of my favourite spots.
Today's vid you see me up at the Brooklyn Bridge, and next few are all over the city and Central Park.
The topic?
How pickup can both enhance but also SCREW UP your professional life.
I've watched this for years as every major PUA company has had disputes and splits within their ownership, and been close to the cliff myself.
What did I learn?
That the same immature attitudes of "me me me" that work in pickup DO NOT work in the "real world".
That's the hard part about finding the right people for RSD. They've got to be narcissistic enough to sleep with literally HUNDREDS of women, but also be really "professional" lol.
DO YOU REALIZE HOW HARD IT IS TO FIND THE RIGHT PEOPLE FOR THIS?
Very very tough.
The lessons that I hammer into my team are contained in this video however. With these mindsets I've helped them not to implode as so many others in their situations have.

As you describe it, success with girls doesn't go too well in business.
I changed my ways and learnt by reading many of the books you've recommended throughout the years.
For the longest time I compared my skills to yours Tyler.
And for the longest time I compared my body to people on steroids without being on steroids myself.
This is so stupid and outcome oriented I don't know why I did it.
The steroid guys or you don't have my skills, and I don't have yours. We are all on our own paths and all of them are attractive.
If you're congruent with your path in life and living it with honesty and integrity you can have it all.
With that said, you can have body building and PU as hobbies but if you avoid your path in life and do pickup instead, you create problems for yourself. Give your path everything. Be a man. Be like Tyler. I must say that your path is a really cool one, one that you've carved out for yourself. But anyone can make their path great.
I think you should make a blog post about this as I think so many guys would benefit from finding their path in life instead of "wasting" 10 years of trying to become pick-up masters. They will never become as good as you because they are doing it as amateurs, not as pro's. It's a hobby for people, for you it's a job. I'd say, go in hard and do this for 2-3 years, learn how to handle girls, grow up and then move on.
I'm so ahead in life because of all the good recommendations you've done throughout the years Tyler

GOING back its cool when I watch the vid of you now vs the "classic vid", I definitely see differences and similarities. I think now, you look like a big pimp, more confident, better voice, and I wouldn't wana fuck with you in a bar if I didn't know you lol! Vs. the Tyler of old, was certainly sure of himself and I know you pimped it but you were more of an "alternative" and a bit further out there kind of guy. It looks like guys used to tool you, but NOW you tool guys. The BIG SIMILARITY though that is AWESOME to see, is that you are ignoring the outside world and kind of have an attitude that what you have to say is super important and you're blocking out everything around you and almost just pumping your own state: saying the shit you wana say. It comes off boss and I see this now AND before.
I found a cool vid from the CEO of Mandalay Entertainment--> search "The Art of Purposeful Storytelling" - Harvardbusiness" on youtube. Although he probably doesn't know about pickup, he still mentions state" and I think what he has to say is super relatable to what you teach. Ultimately, everything comes from inside you, its never about managing an impression.

Can't say say I agree whole-heartedly though.
Maintaining relationships, yes. You cannot be the independent asshole. If you disagree, you'll learn the hard way (losing girls and friends without a clue why).
Being independent is good for building attraction, not so much for keeping. Little doses maybe.
As for relating to business, I like what Oren Klaff talks about with his "Pitch Anything" material.
If you go 4 min 5 sec into the youtube video where Chase Jarvis interviews him, he gives an interesting aspect.

I sit people to their seats in a high status restaurant and I see a lot of the same girls with different guys come in and out. I have to make my work ethic professional, a friendly and cool impression. I mean, I don't have to and most of the time I don't. I just use the soul to talk. The soul captures ones heart of spirit and transfers over. There doesn't need to be any physicality or logic. It's all funny. Being the soul of one is an autopilot factor where I enhance my game by using the fundamentals of game. I use strategies that I remember but most of the day people are stuck in autopilot and I banish that glazed look and give them the time of their day sometimes maybe their life by just talking instinctively.
Tyler I'm trying to stay out of autopilot during my day by reading a lot before work. I used to go out a lot before work but my self development was just crashing. I would never read before work and never would work out. I do brads workout method he explained a while back. But I do see an amazing lecture of professional work you've done but it doesn't help in my case at all.
I attract every single girl that has a boyfriend/husband/daughter/infinity but I never push enough because my autopilot is to do what's right.
I'm trying to fix something though... My work dealing with people 24-7 is becoming so autopilot that I feel like I'm pushing enough but at the same time I know I'm not. Usually it comes off as just a gay guy but I'm in need of a better direction in my professionalism work ethic to still pay bills while trying to go to college. I'm going out don't get me wrong I am. But for me to pay my bills effortlessly is to become A SERVER at the restaurant. But my motivation lacks job professionalism, if serving just pays the bills and I see so many guys with girls I attract from a heartbeat frequency just by polarizing from a second alpha male eye glance... My motivation is lacking I feel as if that's the problem I'm facing for my game to improve massively. I believe in my self.
What if you were in my shoes and had to see so many people without any action other than opening doors and joking around but no direction to push a set? I mean tonality, looking into the soul of a girl in 3 seconds of meeting her but they have to go because their boyfriend or family is auto piloting through the door to get a table. I know you can help me. I would love to do bootcamps and ect. But I'm payin the bills with so much effort but barely making my mom pay a little bit so I can get by. My dad yells 24-7 at me to be like this and to do whatever it takes to make money but I feel stuck and I'm only 20. If you could do a vid that says what pushed you through college/good friends/early work/going out balancing it all to achieve what you've wanted. Cuz I feel in being pushed around doing stuff I don't want but I am very confident in my abilities to do what I want anytime my want tells me to. I just feel blocked by time.

Lol so I thought I'd run this by you Tyler as you are a man of the world. Well, your video at the start got me to thinking of getting good with logistics. Because I'm 23 and I've selling warranties on household appliances for 9 weeks. You basically have to get good at objection handling and getting your energy on the right level.
The job does take up a lot of time and energy but I went out a couple of weeks ago for daygame and my energy got me a couple of day 2's which is good for me.
Anyway, I actually start another job at a shares registrar company on Monday. It's close to home and my thinking was I would have inside information on shares for big companies and if I kept my ear to the ground I could make a packet.
I have the option to stay or go. Tyler I could do with a word of advice man. What are your views lol! Greats vids btw.

If we are talking business I am more interested in learning how the confidence you get from success with women can be applied to confidence in achiving your goals, determining logistics, and pushing hard to close and get your business started and how you can build a career with those principles.
Never give up until you get what you want, type thing.
nevertheless good distinction game and mainting a working relationship is definitely not the same.

really wanted to share it with you guys.
i like owen's vid. a lot. i think its important to note that once i get into either pickup or professional mode if i wanna switch back to the other one i gotta put in INTENSE effort. i think my personality develops inertia and my brain resists the change from pickup guy to work guy just because it doesnt like changing realities frequently. it wants everything to be the same as much as possible!

I intuitively know that game and professional life aren't always going the same way, but here I have logical explanation of it.
The main diffrence tfor me is the same that Tyler point. Game is emotional, self centered, narcisitc. Content doesn't matter, what important is vibe. It's your way or highway, and ultimately fun. Work (in the sense of working with people) is more logical, you have to understand others very well. Content is importnat. Structure is importnat etc.
These are major diffrences. I work in sales, and single most importnat skill is listening - I find that NLP Meta Model is very usefull in getting precise information from client. In pick up it doesn't really matter - you just focus on yourself and your emotion and girsl will be all over you.

Fast forward 2 years.
For the first time ever, after all my efforts, I feel like I can enjoy life again. I feel like I've reached "normalcy" as Ozzie puts it. Last night I couldn't sleep despite me being tired af. I felt the burden in my heart. All the bad experiences that happened in my childhood were haunting me my whole life. And I was carrying that burden. One by one I layed down and felt all of them come back to me, one scene at a time, and then slowly float away. My heart is a little lighter now.
I might not have overcome those had I not heard you say when you go through pain, your body at night rewires itself. I wondered last night if I could have ever escaped the past had I not heard you talk about that. I might have just gotten upset that I couldn't sleep and tossed and turned and beat off and went to sleep salty.

I've come from a very non-spontaneous mindset, and learning success with women motivated me to go to the other extreme. At first, It brought me real bad consequences at work, but as I get more and more experiences and maturity, it's awesome to get the best of these two worlds.
There's another concept very appliable to both women and business situations that I found very powerful after balancing it: That thing of "Go strong and calibrate after the fact" versus taking short and safe steps.

Lessen your pick up times for now, and increase the times you use your brain. It's okay if you come back like you were, but now you know that you are attractive, with or without your looks, with or without your job.. You do it for YOU, to care about what you want to care about.
BTW I think we really could use another detailed video on the topic. Ways to find that balance, and to be able work your brain outside pick up.
Meditation for me was very bad, it didn't help me control my thoughts, it just made me unattached and indifferent. What is making me control and choose my thoughts again is experience. The same way I developped my values before, I am re strengthening them right now, it's taking time, to back up what I let go, but hopefully I will be able to get back to how I WANT (which is 90% of how I was) and more.
