Tyler's Blog

Tyler

Hey there!

Mountains of technical problems to get out this week's video, but I think you'll find it to be worth the wait.

Julien and I are back with a new FREE TOUR video, so you get the long 45 minute rant style vid in case you've been missing it. :)

The topic is wolves and sheep, and we go pretty deep on it.

Really a weird zone I've never seen covered anywhere else.  You're going to love it.

I also just got back from Philadelphia which was an absolutely killer program.

Crazy turnout as well, it was kind of an emotional moment for me to see such a historically small market for us as Philadelphia with a jam packed room at Free Tour and Hot Seat.  You can see pics over at...

www.instagram.com/rsdtyler

We got a whole new sound system for the Hot Seat that surrounds the entire room, and have been bringing on a team to get the events more organized, I think the results are really going to pay off!

I also had a lot of great feedback on the video Brad and I did last week, and guess what?

He's got a FREE new webinar coming out this week on the topic of "Emotional Intelligence" -- finding your inner purpose, and living a more positive and fulfilling life.

You can get in on this Monday or Wednesday, so October 14th or October 16th, at 9PM Eastern time.

I'd highly urge you to get in on this, it's going to be GOOD,
to pregerister and save your spot click over to...

www.rsdwebinar.com

We've also done an interview that you're going to enjoy.

This is actually the first interview I've ever done, which is funny to think about, so you're in for a treat.

Absolutely check this out to learn more about what you'll learn from Brad on the webminar, and go deep on the philosophy of LIFE. :)

LOVE IT.

Anyway my schedule for the coming months is as follows...

October 17, 2013: San Diego (with Jeffy)
October 31, 2013: Phoenix
December 12, 2013: Los Angeles
December 19, 2013: New York (with Julien)
January 2, 2014: Chicago (with Julien)
January 16, 2014: Salt Lake City (tiny market and I may cancel, I'll come if there's demand so if you live in Utah sign up!)
January 30, 2014: San Francisco

www.rsdfreetour.com / www.rsdhotseat.com / www.rsdbootcamp.com

I have a 3 person team that handles ALL of your questions about RSD events -- Stuart, Huey, and David -- all guys in their 20's who are highly active in the game and pimp it with instructors personally, call them any time to talk game or ask any questions you want!

TODAY'S VIDEO

Alright so we're going to crack into a new video this week, and it's back into the FREE TOUR we go! :)

I've been cranking a ton of vBlogs this year, but I've actually got  a killer stash of Free Tour vids I've just started cutting from Boston, DC, Hawaii, Vegas, Seattle, Atlanta, Austin, and Philadelphia.

I've also got San Diego and Phoenix coming up, so you can expect some killer vids to go along with the usual stash of vBlogs (which I've got tons of next level vids I shot on those cities as well).

Anyway today's vids is a bit of a weird one, but it's on the topic of wolves and sheep.

I had Julien up there with me, and tried to work in some of his commentary towards the start of the vid.  He has a lot to say on "not being complete" as usual, and then I tied this into how it relates to wolves and sheep.

The thesis:

1- Everyone is tired and scared.

2- Everyone is confused by the lack of clear meaning to life.

3- To avoid this people seek to feel "complete".

4- The wolves get it that they'll always be tired and scared, and never complete, and then dictate the meaning in their own favor.

5- The sheep eagerly swallow this up in exchange for a false sense of comfort and meaning, and sell out their dreams.

LOL fun stuff.

A little crazy I know, but it's just something that's been in my mind for many years.

The end result is that it's OKAY that you're tired and scared, it's OKAY that you're never going to be complete.  It's the same for all of us.

EMBRACE THIS and your life may become more difficult, but you'll be more engaged, and your experience will take an amazing turn.

It's more authentic and worthwhile, though not for the faint of heart. :)

Anyway click the vid and check it out!

CLICK THIS VIDEO NOW TO START BEING A WOLF AND STOP BEING A SHEEP!

Hope you enjoyed this one!

I know it's a bit over the top, but I wanted to get the point across.

Now start being a wolf and stop being a sheep! :)

GO DEEPER - CLASSIC VID

This is an absolutely must watch.

If you've seen it before then take a second to watch it again.  It covers this critical area, and will take on a whole new context now that you've just watched the previous vid.

CLICK THIS VIDEO NOW TO FULLY INTERNALIZE!

Alrighty!

You're now VERY MUCH good to go on being a wolf and not a sheep lol.

Let me know how it goes!

<>======================<>

EXTERNAL RESOURCE OF THE WEEK

You've absolutely got to watch this just after watching the above video.

It's the wisdom of Tyler Durden himself. :)

LOL nice.

FORUM POST OF THE WEEK

Oh my fucking God this post makes me jealous!

Several threesomes from this guy, includes pics lol.

http://www.rsdnation.com/node/498476/forum

Nice work dude. :)

And remember with the forum, please offer REAL CONTENT and do not post crap.

Anything that isn't content rich, responses, discussion, or fun / funny, is GARBAGE.  Do not post it.

Also please REWARD THE GOOD POSTS by responding to them and encouraging people to post more.

Always value your own time and do not respond to garbage, as if someone is dumb enough not to value their time enough not to post crap then you should not value them either.

Only value people who care about their own time. :)  Reinforce this behaviour, while suffocating idiots who have nothing better to do.

That's how a great forum is built.

<>==========================<>

THANKS!

So I'm out of here.  Hope you enjoyed the vids.

PLEASE HIT ME BACK WITH FEEDBACK AND THOUGHTS ON THE VIDEOS, I READ THEM ALL AND APPRECIATE ALL YOUR WORDS!

Have an amazing week and I'll talk to you soon!

I miss the deep talks.

Ironically, I just got through chasing coyotes away from my house, saving my dogs life.

Loved both videos! I actually enjoy the more lifestyle/ philosophy related topics the most from you Owen, cos I feel like I have enough of pure pick up related content to be good, atleast for the moment. Alexanders 11,5 movies combiened with your basic stuff is sooo kickass. So Im happy that your doing this thing also, becouse I always feel more in "highter consiousness" after watching your stuff, that's way I love it so fucking much.

Funny that the video was kind off an interview btw, yesterday I searched on youtbube if you had any interviews LOL.

The negativity from Tyler is palpable. How many times did he call other people pathetic? Coming from a guy that used to be "pathetic" you would think he would be more empathetic.

Julien, on the other hand, seems like a geniunely nice guy.

I think its more to get u to associate weak behavior with being pathetic so u wont indulge in it, wen u show sympathy, ppl usually just feel even more sorry for themselves n accept it, etc.

I am at work so have only seen half of the interview! Sick so far.

I think what makes Tyler so good at game vs other people is the way he talks and the way he seems to get in state when he talks.

I have noticed that when tyler talks One to One with a girl or someone his voice has a lot of reverberation and it is relaxing and smooth...And his facial expressions change to pleasure and ease.
The other person that has this smooth reverberating voice is jUlien - I remember noticing that in the video he did with Todd I think in vegas.

That ease and smootheness in voice and facial expressions sucks you in.

I wonder what Tyler thinks about this

The mastermind owner sounds like anyone who does corporate audits for a living. "We're here to look at your financials and buy your business. We'll do all the managing, because we know how to do it better."

This is how the business world works, inside or outside mastermind groups. If the group leader had a history of success in M&A, why would you hold on to the business?

Great conversation!

These are the types of videos RSD needs to provide more of.

These "chat" videos or "conversation" videos do not necessarily need rhyme-nor-reason because the topic of pickup and self-development is so broad.

The possibilities of where the conversation may lead the topic is what makes them interesting.

Keep up the good work Brad and Tyler!

Thanks!!

We'll do more interviews at some point in the future.

Here's the explanation of why I say myself or other dudes are being "pathetic" sometimes - it's about personal boundaries, not judging people.

Check the vid.

Tyler! I talked to you on bootcamp last day debrief about how my favorite Free tour of yours that I ever attended was the one you did in Austin TX late 2012. This video covered those topics from the Austin FreeTour, but is even MORE intense and better! I'm glad you got to cover those kinds of topics again and release it to everybody.

LOVE the wolf and sheep analogy about social conditioning.

There is no meaning. So you:
1) create meaning yourself or;
2) download it from others (the wolves).

It all comes down to Dan Kennedy's sage and golden advice.

'Be the wiz (wizard), and beware them"

Or in Tyler's speak, be the wolf, and beware other wolves.

Tyler, can you please do a video on being amazing in the bedroom and avoiding the 'boring bedroom' sydnrome that most people slip into in life?

Towards the end of the video you touched on it and I think it could be a great video. You could touch on how you encourage girls to let go when getting them to squirt more easily. How to spice it up/keep the passion intense etc. How sexual relationships die over time unless you keep the momentum and excitement up, etc. Good vid idea huh?

As a brief outro, i think Jim Rohn said, "become a millionare not for the money but for the person you become to attract it"

By the same token, what RSD is really telling guys is to "become a pimp, not for the pussy, but the person you become to get it"

Tyler,
Do you realize the irony and retardedness....(and at the same time beauty)... of having chosen Tyler Durden as your "pickup" name 10+ years ago?
....Now when you travel, people who you don't even know are approaching you and saying hi to you.... ...Just like they approach Tyler Durden in the movie Fight Club, in the part of the movie where the club starts becoming bigger and bigger.
Instead of having created a fight club, you created a pickup club.
Congratulations: You have now truly become Tyler Durden in real life!
It's funny and retarded but at the same time a beautiful way of life telling you: well done, you have done a good job, you are making it happen. Keep going.

hahaha
Thanks for your inspiring videos, as always.
Cheers

Hey Tyler,

Awesome! This content is really mind blowing

Living your passions its critical for your success in life, I come from a place where I lived it for a little while and went back to what I knew best because the incertainty was too massive for me to handle at the time, but I got the taste in my mouth :) I would do it all over again with what I learned

These two videos really relate with each other, and yes people are always looking for someone to free them from that pressure, this is key in leadership where ever you are, but, in business you lead with a different prespective compared to when you lead relationships

One big realisation I came to now is "nobody will do it for you" you have to make it happen and face the consequences of your decisions, either in your professional life relationships finances, nobody will be there to do the things you have to do for you so you can fucking avoid the resposability, take responsability of your life and your hapiness

Great content and truly an inspiring and motivational mammoth I can only say thank you bro, your message is really changing in a positive way far more than you probably know "hands clapping"

Yes we are all humans and we'll be scared and feel resistance but on the words of ET "get comfortable being uncomfortable"

Peace and love!

i liked the part of the video where they talked about meaninglessness and passion. that is, how no matter what you do, everything comes to an end, so what place does passion have in that? the talk helped me remember that the futility of existence is not an excuse to be apathetic. we are here for now, so might as well be as awesome as possible.... but its important to keep in mind that it will all end no matter what one achieves.  Ultimately, it seems life is a gift to be lived, or not, for the moment and its own reward..... or not.

Awesome stuff, as usual. I too miss some of the deep talks about broader topics related to pick-up. They are very interesting, inspiring and stimulating to watch. Also in my opinion they cater better for the audience that doesnt go out regularly or just watch your stuff for reasons other than pick-up.

I know, it can mess with our heads if we dont go out. But for me some of your talks really helped to understand how society works and break the so-called matrix. This "Tired and Scared / Wolfs and Sheeps" talk was really ground breaking for me and hit spot on for my current life situation. It helped me to gain deeper perspective about how people are and why they do what they do. Coupled with the Jeffy's "Handle your shit, son" video about resistance as a compass, this simultaneously gave me:
  • Understanding of the works (we are all scared and seek completion)
  • How to understand people (they are all scared deep down, just like me, no-one is special or above others)
  • How to better my self and rise above (embrace the fact that we are all scared and tired, decide to embrace the everlasting journey and not seek completion)
  • How to find direction for life journey (use resistance as compass)
It really is amazing how ideas framed the right way for the individual can make a huge difference in perspective. Some things just help it click more than others. Ofcourse I still need to take action, but this will help. Thank you!
