Tyler's Blog

Tyler

I'm prepping to go to NEW YORK CITY tomorrow morning!!

I love these trips and if you're within driving distance of NYC I'll see you at the Penn Hotel across from Madison Square Garden on Thursday at 7PM for the Free fuckkkken TOUR!!

Brad, Jeff, Todd, Papa, and myself will be at the event -- like a "mini World Summit".  We'll probably try to shoot some video blogs in the city together while we're all there.

Then the Bootcamp students will also have a grip of our best assistants / natural friends on the case as well, many whom have more success with girls than we do (like these guys are totally incredible).

Hot Seat NYC promises to be a blast as well!  If you're planning on attending any of these events, I'll see you this weekend!

The schedule for the rest of my year is as follows...

October 4, 2012: New York City
October 18, 2012: San Diego
November 1, 2012: San Francisco
November 15, 2012: Albuquerque (first time in New Mexico!)
December 7, 2012: Las Vegas
December 20, 2012: Orlando
January 3, 2013: Los Angeles
January 17, 2013: Dallas
February 7, 2013: Aspen, Colorado
February 14, 2013: New Orleans
February 21, 2013: Miami

www.rsdfreetour.com / www.rsdhotseat.com / www.rsdbootcamp.com

I have a 3 person team that handles ALL of your questions about RSD events -- Stuart, Huey, and David -- all guys in their 20's who are highly active in the game and pimp it with instructors personally, call them any time to talk game or ask any questions you want!

NORTH AMERICA (Toll Free): +1 (888) 546 7286
EUROPE: +44 (0) 2079 934 034
AUSTRALIA: +61 280 155 522
ASIA: +81345789305

Lastly, Julien and I are going to be running "5 Day Alumni-Only Bootcamps" in New Orleans for Mardis Gras, and Miami South Beach during the infamous "Model Season" this Spring. So if you're considering attending then start looking into it now!

(We haven't created a page for the Mardis Gras event but you can have a look at the above site for Miami...)

So!!

2 REALLY GOOD videos today.  Both really funny and off the wall.

The first is an "street game tutorial" that I shot late at night (last few minutes of Bootcamp) at Hermosa Beach in Los Angeles.

Hermosa is a chill spot with laid back girls, not the typical "Hollywood" vibe.   But it's a great place to teach how to do "moving sets" of girls on the street because there's that big open space with people moving through it the entire night.

I'd say that out of anything I'm good at in game, it's approaching moving girls on the street.  You've probably noticed in a lot of my vblogs how fluid I am with it (think back to previous infield clips in the vids) and it comes from the months I used to spend in London's Leicester Square.

I also began all this doing daygame back in college so it was a skill that I had to build at that time.  Anyway I offer a tutorial about it here which I know you'll enjoy.

CLICK THIS VIDEO HERE FOR A TUTORIAL ON HOW TO APPROACH MOVING GIRLS ON THE STREET!

Interestingly, I'm sure you probably took more note of the funny fat guy incident, or infield orgy scenario.

But there's a lot of deeper info going on in this video.  I created it to be a bit hard to follow for anyone who DOES NOT go out -- simply because I feel that this information is "hard earned" and that only someone who goes out deserves to know about it.

So if you go out and watch it about 10 times, you'll see the distinctions go apply them to benefit from the results.

(I know you'll gain a ton out of this from my own thousands upon thousands of hours of street game, as well as having coached it.)

Beyond all that, the point at the end about "taking ownership" of the open, and not hiding behind some technique that you learned online, is also equally important.

Even a fucking HANDSHAKE -- as far as I'm concerned -- can be a guy following a "technique".

Because he's not really owning it, he's stuck in his head just throwing it out there because he read it somewhere, not actually GENUINE about shaking the girls' hand.

Then when she isn't receptive to it, he doesn't calibrate in the moment, because his "awareness" is trapped in self monitoring and inner thoughts, as opposed to staying out of his head and "adjusting in the moment".

See this all the time, and hey, on really intimidating girls, this can be ME as well!

<>===============<>

Next up is a pretty funny RANT about the scene in Los Angeles.

This speech actually raised some really deep points about "non resistance" to all the bullshit in the game

So I start out by deeply describing all the bullshit in a really funny way.

But then Todd's camera went out on me, and I LOST all the points about the spiritual insights you gain from this, and how it helps you to get girls.

So the video wound up cutting more as like a half hour comedy about the bullshit of pickup in LA, and BRIEFLY mentions the deeper insights you gain out of it.

Then I beefed it up with another segment from the talk where I reveal my first sexual experiences in the game as an awkward newbie, just as a bonus since it's pretty funny and I felt the clip was cut short.

Overall though I think you'll find it to be one of the best clips I've put out as far as entertainment, and the overall insights are decent enough to be worthwhile.  Have a look!

CLICK HERE TO TYLER REVEAL THE ULTIMATE BULLSHIT OF PULLING GIRLS IN LOS ANGELES, AND HIS FIRST SEXUAL EXPERIENCES AS AN AWKWARD NEWBIE IN THE PUA COMMUNITY

Hope you enjoyed this!

btw I do a lot of off the cuff jokes and stories at "Free Tour" so that as a younger speaker, I can experiment around with spinning material out of thin air.

This is why I love the "Free Tour" format -- if it was a PAID event I couldn't justify going on silly tangents like this, because it would be unprofessional and people would be like "People PAY to hear this?"

But as a FREE event people are like "Yeah this is entertaining, has some decent info, and it's fun to watch."

This was how I envisioned the Free Tour back in the day -- I get to develop my speaking with various experiments so that when get older I'll have a stronger background in all this, and the audience gets entertainment and pickup insights at a free live event.

(Not to mention if you attend live, you meet tons of wings, and meet instructors personally.  Being there live has a great vibe.)

Anyway hopefully you enjoyed it!

Here's what I'm listening to now as I type this btw...

These were shot in Los Angeles so may as well crack out the new Dr. Dre.

Old man Dre's keeping up with young Kendrick on this, who is one of the best lyricists I've ever heard -- bet it was tough.

Psyched for the Kendrick Lamar album apparently it's out October 22 -- "Good kid in a mad city" -- thought I'd mention it since there's not exactly a ton of "real hip hop" coming out these days.

<>============================<>

Lastly before I kick out of here, there's 3 old videos where I have great examples of "street game opens" that you can check out if you haven't seen them.

Also if you HAVE seen them I'd say watch them AGAIN with the context that I explained in the first vid -- you'll pick up something new.

Check the last 2 minutes of this one, how I open her on the street...

And then 3 minutes into this one there's a great street open as described in the Hermosa video as well...

And lastly there's a great street open at 1:40 of this one as well, which is an example of "just be clear in WHATEVER you do..."

I was thinking of cutting these lil clips into the street game video, but figured I'd just repost the original vBlogs into this thread.

Some good reinforcement in there, get out and apply this stuff TONIGHT!!!!

<>==============<>

So I'm off to go pack up my bags and grab a few hours of sleep before New York City!!

Totally psyched out of my mind to get out there, and if you have any ideas for video blog shooting locations lemme know!

Please comment about what you learned from the 2 videos -- I'd love your thoughts on street game as well as getting your elbows deep in the mud in the game!!  I want to know what you think!!

Thanks for reading this and I'll talk to you soon!  Have a great week!

The infield tutorial is awesome. Learnt so much from it.

The freetour video really resonates with me. My story is the same with the getting laid results.

P.S. Tyler, what do you think about video games? I remember that you said you loved them in Transformations. I struggle with it now and then - I want to play so bad but when I play it ruins my life.

hahaha :') the street game video was so informational and awesome. just got back from freemont street, will apply tomorrow! And the I liked the personal stories at the end of the "elbows in the mud" vid.

I'd like to see a video about your thoughts on beliefs about yourself, how they come about, and how to change them

I'm noticing in myself I'm trying to be "gangsta" more than necessary, and during times when it is not necessary. I guess that is the influence of the vibe of your videos have. Heh. As well as the vibe I get from RSD in general.

Just noticing that you do mention to "use your brain" and "be charming" sometimes. Not always mindlessly full on, cavemannish, etc..

First vid reminds me of this one:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bUJdJIxgI7U

and this principle:

***That which appears more awkward is actually less awkward and that which appears less awkward is actually more awkward. IOW, the high-risk approach is actually the low-risk approach and the low-risk approach is actually the high-risk approach.***

Are you continually recording infield material? I swear your game keeps improving exponentially. By the time you launch the Hot Seat 3, the material will already be "out of date".

I laughed my head off at the second video. Love your crazy chicks impersonation.

So I am guessing that the "How to get back in the game" and "Self-Acceptance" vids show a charming and chatty approach, while the last one on momentum shows an authoritative one, right?

The thing is, I've been doing lots and lots of street game for the past two months, and I realize that the majority of my blowouts look like the half assed approach that you did. However, I really had a hard time understanding the difference between the good approach and the bad approach.

What I've understood so far is that no matter what is your choice, you should go funny and with a great energy, am I right there?

lol can someone clarify these little things here please?

I guess I'll just have to fail a lot and get blown out a lot to learn this too... that's cool :)

Oh, and another thing, in the bad example of the approach, in what sense was it half-assed, was it because Tyler was being both charming and authoritative?

Damn I am so confused!

Well I guess there are lots of subtleties that I can't see yet because of my lack of experience. I'll just go out and implement the TIPS, then find out by myself! YEAH! PEACE OUT!

I mean... the approach in Self Acceptance vid and the one in bad example looked quite similar at first. Then I could finally see some differences and compared them to all the street approaches I've done so far only to get a vague idea of how things work. Good... now I'll have to question myself some more for the next months.

during the hot seat 2 i already saw that street game is probably your fav. area of gaming. up to this point i didn't really give it a try because for me it is still a little akward to do it at night. during day streetgame feels much more comfortable. however, i know that its just a matter of practice to get into it
so, thx for these distinctions!

the second video is just hilarious! the video playing analogy resonates strong with me

Hey Tyler, I really liked your video since I do mainly day game street approaches at my local university (Princeton) since I'm in high school. I had a question, how do you engage a girl who seems like she's rushing off somewhere. I try to stop them but they're usually like "I got to go somewhere" and run off. And when I do follow them it kinda seems like I'm being needy for chasing after them.

Good videos. Too bad the 'spiritual lessons' got deleted cuz the camera died. That's like your best sutff. The entertaining stuff is cool, but the 'deep life lessons' is where you offer the most value.

I learn a shit-ton from any "spiritual" insights you have because it feels as if I've the clear seeing to understand how everything connects to a single focal point. Whereas a newbie will just be content with hearing a bunch of different distinctions and funny comedy (and I love that too!) I also love to see you bring it all together whenever you talk about spirituality.

Because this is the ultimate way through which to see your experiences unfold, and makes drawing accurate distinctions a very powerful skill.

 Hey SEAN PUA

I was also at the recent free tour in Toronto and also missed getting to see Julien's Hotseat that weekend... Totally regreting not calling in sick for work. I know now it would have been a game changer.

Also pumped for when Alex gets around to this neck of the woods for his hot seat!

Anyways, I see you posting on here quite a bit and you're from my area. If you're going out a lot, we should get together and wing each other. I go out with a group of dedicated guys pretty often. Let me know man.

OWEN!!!

Feels like my mind is going to melt down after spending my morning watching all the videos you posted here!

It's crazy what you mentioned in the Blueprint about not being able to sleep at night when your mind is re-adjusting it's belief systems and concepts of reality. I'm fucked for sleeping tonight. haha

Each video was a massive break through in it's own entirety, They all deserve a 2nd watch when I get the time.

Lmao at you "amoging" [Insert cheesy game line] .... However you want to refer to you absolutely destroying the fat heckler guy in the 1st video.

Thanks Owen for all this incredible content. I feel extremely motivated after watching your videos to make shit happen in my life and KEEP GOING.

I'll leave you with a quote that I love for development and pushing yourself.

Motivation is doing what needs to be done when we want to do it.

Dedication is doing what needs to be done when we don't feel like doing it.

When I feel this "self monitoring" vibe in my head and body, I can find myself resisting the "self monitoring" vibe/behaviour because I know in some level that it is not going to work.. It becomes a negative spiral.

Do you have any advice about that, is it just take action and this natural vibe comes by itself?

Thanks!!
