Hey!

Just got into South Beach for the next 5 WEEKS of non stop 5 day Bootcamps.  We had our first night out last night which for a Tuesday was definitely a blast.

Weekend should just get crazier and crazier.

I'll be shooting a ton of content while here in Miami, and I've got 2 new vids this week, on the topics of information overload and getting back in the game.

Here's my upcoming schedule...

February 21, 2013: Miami
April 4, 2013: Las Vegas
May 9, 2013: Los Angeles
May 16, 2013: Chicago

I have a 3 person team that handles ALL of your questions about RSD events -- Stuart, Huey, and David -- all guys in their 20's who are highly active in the game and pimp it with instructors personally, call them any time to talk game or ask any questions you want!

<>===================================<>

Alright so there's been a phenomenon in the pickup community since I've been in it since 2002, called THE FALLACY OF THE FIRST PERFECT APPROACH.

Basically guys learn about pickup, have no interest in truly learning the game, but want to learn every bit of theory and approach ony one girl, make her their girlfriend, and never have to experience rejection or approach again.

So they watch and watch and watch the all the videos, and think once they "get it" they'll be ready to do their first approach.

And guess what happens?

They get so much information in their heads, they get COMPLETELY PARALYZED when they approach.

My view towards this (to be fully honest) is these people are complete pussies and not taking enough action to remotely comprehend the ideas.

I love new information, but it's because I'm always on the move.  I am always at an information DEFICIENCY and my Amazon bill is practically more than my rent.

But it's because I'm constantly taking action, and crank out full day after full day of rigorous work. In my spare time I'm partying hard and having sex. So any new information I can get, it's immediately put into real life.

For many people though, I guess they move at a slower pace and don't go out as much, so it gets confusing. Then after a week of sitting at home staring at their belly button, they venture out of their basement have all the non internalized ideas from the videos floating around in their minds, CONFUSING AND UPSETTING THEM. :)

What's the solution?

Assume that for every 1 hour worth of videos you watch, you want to be out interacting with women a good 2 - 4 hours in real life.

If you do this, you will NEVER find RSD videos confusing at all whatsoever. There's no way you could have that much real life context and ever be confused.

CLICK THIS VIDEO RIGHT NOW TO SEE ME VISUALLY DEMONSTRATE WHAT WILL HAPPEN TO YOU IF YOU FAIL TO DO THIS...

Hopefully that made an impact.

Look, just last night I mauled down a bunch of hot girls, and it was great.

But guess what else?  I had girls brush me off.

That's after 11 years of straight gaming.  IT CANNOT BE AVOIDED.

Sure I had many of the hottest girls in South Beach up on me, but I also had some girls who didn't want to talk.

Oh well!

Make a commitment to taking MASSIVE ACTION.

MASSIVE MASSIVE MASSIVE ACTION.

Doing this will make you an information absorbing MACHINE.

The reason I read so much is that i take so much action.  So I have so much context, there's no amount of information that my brain cannot absorb.

I CRAVE new information.  For the right reasons:  I take action, I go out.

<>==============================<>

Next up we're getting into the topic of getting back into the game.

I thought that would be a fun one for anyone who was motivated to start going out again after time off, to avoid having to kill themselves like what happened to me in the previous vid. :)

This is important because breaks are inevitable if you're in something for the long haul, so you will want strategies for getting back on track.

Remember: whatever you do a LOT your brain will re-wire itself to enjoy, so once you're back into it you will begin to enjoy it!

So no matter how freaked out you feel when you get back into sometihng, recall that you will begin to ENJOY it again once you get back some momentum with it.

CLICK THIS VIDEO TO DISCOVER MY SECRETS ON GETTING BACK INTO MOMENTUM WITH SOMETHING YOU WERE PREVIOUS KILLING IT AT...

Anyway this was fun, and I plan to get into some very THEORETICAL videos while here in Miami.

I've got a bunch of them sketched out, not so much on pickup but on larger principles that indirectly apply.

Psyched to get out and shoot them.

Then again, watching Julien in the field last night, I may have a few ideas that directly apply to pick up as well.

<>=================================<>

FURTHER
 LEARNING:

Here's a video I shot last year with a giant beard, where you see me INFIELD ACTUALLY GETTING BACK IN THE GAME after a one month break.

If you've never seen it you'll absolutely want to check this out.

And if you've seen it before, watch it again with the new context of the video you just watched above, and you'll get a lot more out of it!

Great 1 - 2 punch here with the two videos on the same topic.  The new one on the theory behind it, and this one here showing how it plays out in the field.

So if you've been out of it for a while, consider this motivation! :)  Let's get back out there TONIGHT!

<>==================================<>

Anwyay that's it for this week, I'll see you back soon for the next episode!

I'm off to grab a bite at one of my fav Miami restaurants, and hit up the gym before tonight's events!

PLEASE HIT ME UP WITH COMMENTS ABOUT THE TOPIC OF INFORMATION OVERLOAD AND GETTING BACK IN THE GAME.  I REALLY WANT TO KNOW WHAT'S ON YOUR MIND!

Thanks for reading and have an amazing week!

I don´t have many problems to return to pimp mode since I stopped for a while.
But since I'm pimping for too long, I start to get more negative, I don´t know if you understand me. I see all women as bitches, I don´t treat them very well, even after they have lowered their defenses, I get the feeling that everyone around me are weak, I start to think Im the best man in the world.

Have you ever experienced this? Could make a topic about it if you relate?

I can relate very well to what you said.  I had many periods when I was out of the game. What makes it double frustrating its a fact that in your mind you think that you should do those hardcore gangsta pimp shit like instant makeout , fingerbang girls on dance floor but becouse you was out for a long time  it just can't happen right away. In a lot of cases you feel more depressed like before - when you were newbie becouse when you were newbie you celebrated every small victory but now you are very hard on yourself becouse you are not as comfortable/calibrated  in field as before.

Tyler!!!! This video is crazy!!!!! It's crazy because I'm dealing with exactly what you are talking about. I had been sick for the past week and it throw me off my ritual. Today I made some cold calls for my business and got damn it was tough! Just before I got sick I was a little nervous before making my calls but after the first few I was fine but today I was neverous on every damn call. I was thinking, "I don't know if I can do this and how the hell did I do this?"
I watched your video and now it all makes sense. I just need to ease myself back into everything. Since I didn't game for a week I'm guessing I will have the same experience when I go out tomorrow but now I will know how to deal with it.

THANKS A MILLION!!!!!

I don't really agree with Tyler here (even though I am writing this from the "basement".) I'm going to make a large generalization here, and he probably already knows this, but when I see that he says the people who aren't going out are pussies, it pisses me off. Yes, I agree that there are some who are just pussies, but I think there is another reason why people won't approach and I see it in myself.

There are a lot of underlying reasons why someone is a "hardcase" or avoids social contact, this also goes along very well with the fact that most of his customers are "over achiever" types like engineers maybe pre-med students etc. I know he knows this mindset because he made a video of the newb who does an approach and is destroyed by it.

The reason why these people are "pussies" is maybe they are SUPER fucking stressed out. They are wound really tight from having to attend crazy insanely tough demanding classes, and have a job. This is why they self medicate, and avoid social contact. They are emotionally exhausted, because they are not really intouch with their emotions.

A lot of my friends are having this emotional exhaustion (AKA burnout) because even taking 12-15 credit hours and working part time is turning them into this stress lowers their self esteem, and destroys their discipline, because their time as been leveraged to the hilt. Its like this one friend of mine said: "After the first month of classes is like my sense of humor just disappears, and comes back at the end of the semester."

They have been trained for many many years to do as much as they can. They don't know anything else. When it comes to pickup they treat it just like their one of their classes. They study it intently, then they prepare for an approach like an exam. Ok I will probably enounter this type of response so I need to respond this way...etc, you get the point.

For the extreme student types its not that they are lil' bitches, or pussies. This problem is multifacted. School has their emotions completely wiped out, so this makes them reserved. They are probably very logical types so they take very well to studing theory. College has got them accustomed to taking on more than they can handle, and this is also part of the reason why their expectations of themselves are unrealistically high. They will also have a high potiential to abuse themselves with caffeine and little sleep which makes the problem worse.

Bro those are a bunch of excuses. Just go out and the excuses will disappear. I don't know if you are talking about yourself or your friends but whatever the case the only way to overcome all that BS you just wrote about is to take action. I'm not saying that as a keyboard jockey I'm saying that as somebody who goes out 4-5 times a week and who has been in the game for 6 years.

Thank you so much Tyler. The video on getting back into the game was definitely invaluable to me as I have a strong tendency to try to go all out when I'm out of it and that shit just doesn't work. I'll definitely start applying this ASAP.

Mature, mature, mature, mature.....lol.

That's what I see when I walk into every venue... A bunch of mature business chodes who are so boring that they bore themselves and every girl they talk to.

TD, I really value the videos you put out not for the content per se, but because I feel like I'm constantly reinforcing the "everything is silly" state of mind. My entire life is a constant struggle to stay on those empowering frequencies/mindsets and not give in to the bullshit mainstream consciousness.

Great video.

Hey Tylerovski!!!

I have the same when starting to get into school mode (Aerospace Engineering).. First 1 week maybe, I hate it, my brain feels so bored, I WANT TO KILL PEOPLE hahhaha!! But then THE POWER OF HABIT takes over and i can do it all day every day, and after it gets in routine I kind of like it ;) Funny how the brain works!

And when I finish up with exams I usually go up 3-4 nights in a role.. and just take it slowly the first 2-3 nights.. talk with people.. socialize... talk with some ladies.. and usually 3-4 night is where some action is going to take place! Funny how some pattern you have observed as well!

By the way, readint the '4 hour work week' and loving it. When are you going to make a video connecting with those ideas... Quality of life vs. working for the millions :)

Haha you sound like JULIEN! :)

We are ALL made out of DNA that is designed to unethically "survive and reproduce".

And when you're seeing the SIDE of women that will do all sorts of selfish things to benefit itself, it's hard not to feel the way you feel.

Just remember that we ALL have this side of ourselves.  Humans are humans!

Hey man I get what you're saying here.

I wanna REALLY STRESS that if you just GO OUT you will instantly find that all your excuses vanish.

I fully fully fully understand what you're trying to get across.  Please trust me on this though, you can vaporize all these issues with a simple night out of hitting it hard!

The response you got from the poster above was a bit harsh, and probably not communicated properly, but what he was TRYING to say is that even though what you're saying feels real to you -- your life will be so much happier if you just go out!

Again though I fully get what you're saying here and it makes sense.  Please check out that video I shot in Dallas about the 6 steps, and just follow them for a night.  You'll be loving life!

Nice ya I've met Tim Ferris he's got a lot of cool ideas.

I like how he thinks outside the box and very independently, maybe we'll link for a vid at some point in the future.

Nice that you know how to get back on track!

enjoy the infield-bits in Tylers recent videos. my favorite one from the new vids, is were he gets rejected by this two girls and right after them he make out with this one girl that is standing right behind them. were he makes moves with his furry jacket... how he looks at the girl, great. I like this little-infield burst because it shows which mindset you want to have when you're going out. you don't go home and write a three page essay how you got rejected and how bad game suck. you just don't care if a girl doesn't like you, you just push yourself and get to the next one. cop and blow...
still watching the hot seat previews "tyler pulls girl from taxi" and "pulling while being out of state" before going out. juliens and alex hot seat preview is also great to catch the fun vibe you want to have before going out.

being someone who hasn't done an approach yet, causes a lot of stress. when I read some posts here I feel the pain. we've all been there, but at some point you have to take action and you must accept that you probably will suck at the beginning. it doesn't matter, I remember after my first approaches how good I felt. only the fact that I overvcame my fears and did the approach gave me a tremendous feeling of strength. it put me in a position of power. first things first. babystep your approach if necessary, but get it done.

btw. I read "the 50th law" from Robert Greene and 50 Cent at the moment. Although, I've read a lot of self-help books. I really enjoy this one. I like how  blatant and not sugar-coated the path of success ist portrayed in this book.

I really like the plane analogy and the toe in the cold water analogy, they both pretty nail the problem of newbs and also more advanced guys with getting you on the right track for mackin'.

stretch the matrix, shook the reality son!

Monsieur Owen, quick question about your previous video:

Have you now dropped unstifling at the start of the night from your nightly process? If you have, just wondering why, I thought it was very helpful, really reminded me that I don't need to filter myself in that environment.

p.s. videos were awesome. So huge not to compare yourself to your old momentum-fuelled self too much and just get taking action again.
Considering a BC with you next year: you still going to be teaching in early 2013?

Owen,

GOLD as usual!    That first video might be the funniest thing I've ever seen you do!

A request that might be a little off topic....I have a firend who has been pimping it and has had problems with not getting enough sleep.  I've told him that it's fine to go out 7 nights a week, but, especially during the week, he needs to be smart about it, but he won't listen to me.  LOL.  I heard you say once that you might do a v-blog about always aiming to get 8 hours of sleep.  Have you thought any more about that?

Watching the third video made me realize something. I've never taken notice of it the other few times I watched it, but now it just clicked in my mind.

That homeless man...you could just hear him talking about random bullshit with strangers after Owen refused to help him. And it made me realize that homeless people tend to have A LOT more game than your average chode/male. Think about it: these guys are out nearly 24/7 and they have to socialize in order to survive. That guy probably talked to hundreds of people and now he's nearly reached self-actualization where he just doesn't care about social restrictions. He'll just congruently talk about whatever's on his mind and it will sound great!

We could learn a lot from these guys. I met one last year and it blew my mind, just seeing him interact with strangers.

By the way,

I'm 3 weeks into "recovery" after working non stop for months and not a lot of going out..

Only now do approaches seem normal instead of some freakishly weird thing I used to do ;)

I feel the fucking same. I have gamed so much, that I'm numb with all this shit. I don't even know why sex is good at all, I just do sex by impulse, not even by desire anymore. Still it's kinda empty, but there is nothing like this anyway.

*Maybe I'll jump from a mountain because I'm confurse but in the other side of the spectrum.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts on this topic; it came right on time for me! I had been out for several months due to graduate school work, and just last week started going back out, easing into it, and rewarding myself for the simple successes. Rigging it to win!

Great perspectives and minsets. I've taken a lot of time recently to actually make myself more able to go out consistantly in the future. I've actually learned a lot from not going out. Like confidence in my ability to get an SNL with no momentum whats so ever.

Owen what do you think about guys who do nothing but go out and dont take theory into consideration whats so ever?

I've been going out 3-5 days a week lately. I remember going out just twice a week when I was busy. It SUCKED. There was no momentum. I made it manditory that I go out at least 3 days a week. I stopped running into the same bullshit over and over again. I ACTUALLY got better. Then I was talking to my wingman last night and realized how much it sucks to not have that nice momentum going where you're just calm and ready to go from the get go from going out so much. Nothing is taken personally, etc. I like this video. I can definitely relate to it a lot. Its also a great in comparison to Brad's video about building yourself up even when you are not going out.

Do your times out of momentum get shorter the longer you stick with it overall?

Honestly I think that from a momentum perspective, getting over and past plateaus is harder than getting momentum going in the first place i.e. liftofff. Well maybe it's not quite as hard, but still getting over plateaus is a close second, b/c I can get doubts such as "I will never progress to the next level, I'm stuck here forever" or "I will never get good at game, I'm gonna be one of those guys that doesn't get good". LOL.

I thought both videos were super engaging.

Awesome video,

2nd vid relates to me so well. I was out of it and I'm back in the game.
My personal experiences are EXACTLY like you said in the vid. I am making a 2nd run for the game, and I foundt out that babystepping the process and not comparing my current results to my old results is so key, because I was setting myself up for a lot of disappointments which took a lot of mental energy to overcome. Energy that would have been better spent doing more approaches or writing more detailed reports.

When it comes to motivating yourself and building a process there is really NObody else out there that can explain it as well as you. Thanks so much for the value.

Ps: When you are doing a hard rant and you keep touching your nose while doing it you really really come off as if you are using substances :)

Owen this video is SO FUCKING SICK!

Recently I got so lazy, not doing school stuff, not pushing myself, not eating healthy, I was demotivated as  much as it can get... it was downward spiral at it's best.

BUT when you said it the only hard part is the TAKING OFF, it finally hit me.
Now I'm leaving for some frozen veggies, gonna read books for school. do math and kick some shit again.
Thanks, have a great day!

Tyler are you following my field reports?? it feels like your topics always correlate with the phase im going through, small break however im out tonight, friday night and saturday. I reach a small peak of results and my brain gets all "thats enough, we are happy with this level" your vids always push me back through the success barrier.

Thank you

I am watching the second video from my flat screen led tv. Thanks Tyler.

Question: What is the best way or how would you suggest going about gym pickup or social circle pickup?

I made a thread dissecting the caliber and lack of quality. I take responsibility on my part since, this is clearly a screening process, and weeding out those not fit (literally: I won't fuck women that eat big macs or treat their body's like dump trucks). So, this is one girl. No oneittus.

3 numbers. One isn't fit so I cut her loose. Took a number the other day in pita pitt. A side note, it was empty in there. If there was a bunch of people in there, I likely might have bailed. I took another number last night so, its not like I am struggling to get it. This gym or social circle, and public scenarios is a sticking pount.

Instead of just asking for help, this is what I am doing to blow past this sticking point. I created my own Project Mayhem 2013. Simply, its a brand new year, tons of gym ads, passes, and I see opportunity. I am going around in what little spare time I have and taking out week, ten day, and month free gym passes. I am working out at these places, taking group classes, there for the purpose of training, and doing cold approach.

I got a number last night but, I also got ejected from one gym for "harrassing women." LOL Apparently, this girl is some wannabe women's right activist, get the vibe she hates men, saw me approaching lots, and I got kicked out but, not before the number close. This is diabolical but, it was my friend's idea. I can't take too much credit. At my gym, familiarity breeds awkwardness but, I will get past this plateau. A tip is helpful. I met little miss fitness working out and running cold approach between sets at my gym. Sets as in working out not sets as in women lol

Here is my approach:Take number and leave. If it doesn't fly, tell her its probably for the best. That a relationship between us would be all non stop fighting and make up sex.

This might be one of my favorite videos.

Its cool not even for the theory aspect but because you communicate the feeling and mindsets of WINNING and how bad you want it and I can tune myself into that mindset.

Id love for a video similar to this one where you just brag about your passion for winning, and brag about the cool shit that happens, brag about how youre disciplined and can keep your shit together, the quality of girls you fuck. and then distinguishing that from being a fucking loser, and making that DEFINITE distinction to get people focused.
I honestly think that would help get a lot of peoples heads out of their asses and see the silliness of wasting time and being unfocused, including myself. Because honestly when you lay it all out there like that, it just makes doing anything else other than winning seem fucking stupid.

I also LOVE the infield clips at the beginning.

Definately gonna watch this over and over again to train the RAS.

Thanks man :)
