So there I am in the picture I took shooting over on a train from Boston to New York about two months back. I took pictures of myself regularly as a "beard growing record". :)
I'd just come from a corporate event and thought my voice was going to crap out on me. Arrived in New York to Jeffy running his Free Tour and HIS voice was about to go out as well. He looks over at me like "Dude a lil help here..." so I ran up and took over for a bit -- you'll see it in the video below, where we're talking to a huge New York turnout and trying to yell over the crowd.
Then my voice runs out and I look at him to finish the event, he whispers back to me "My voice is GONE!" Dammit I gotta finish it for him -- all good he's got his own Hot Seat the next day and has been outworking me.

3) Julien has the best game of anyone I've personally seen (there may be better but he's the best I've seen with my own eyes). Him and I have been pushing eachother like Ken and Ryu from Street Fighter to break through plateaus and reach next levels for so long it seems like no other reality exists.
The guy is human and has on nights and off nights, but watching him when he heats up is like watching a newbie's delusional fantasy about what a superhero PUA looks like embodied into real life -- to the point it's like he has superpowers. All my natural buddies were initially skeptical of him, then they see him infield and they're like "Okay uhhhh, YEEEEAH okay, HOLY SHIT."
Dood cuts through ANY BULLSHIT to get the lay. Zero excuses -- full on GOES. Pulls 9's and 10's more consistent than anyone I've personally seen. Imagine a one dimensional cartoon character who likes nothing else other than the game and teaching game. Many people joke that Julien IS the game -- like a full on player whose life outside running programs consists of watching Vampire Diaries and then mimicking Damon Salvatore to swindle women out of their hopes and dreams.
Anyway we've just cut a "Julien preview video" this week that will show the most compelling infield footage the pickup community has seen online. Of course anyone who has been to a Hot Seat has seen shit about 1000X better but for you guys who have never attended this will be pretty eye opening.
Speaking of which the Hot Seat 2 preview videos are beginning to come out this Monday and are absolutely fucking awesome.

So the past year of recording Hot Seat 2 footage has forced me back into the game harder than I've ever been.
The lifestyle has been absolutely insane. Hammering the guns 7 nights a week, watching it on video every day afterwards, and then looking to go out the next night and do it again.
It's funny because for the 3 years I lived in Hawaii I wasn't overly focused on game. I managed to grow RSD into a respectable organization, worked with Papa to build a global infrastructure, and created a business that's pretty legit. The Blueprint was my major accomplishment during that time, and then when I moved back to Los Angeles I thought that I was pretty much done with teaching game.
Then one night I was out at Hermosa Beach and my buddy broke out a lil cheap camera and started filming me. I got a double makeout with these two girls and went home to check it out.
And when this happened I realized........THIS IS THE FUCKEN BOMB.
I'd spent years of my life cultivating a skillset and had no high quality recordings of it. With Blueprint done I thought I'd taken my pickup teaching to the highest level I was capable of and wanted to move into new industries, but then realized I'd barely even scratched the surface.
Yeah seminar is a cool format to teach game, but the Hot Seat format is the absolute bomb. That's why I stopped recording DVDs and started doing the current format of infield footage as a backbone for a high impact live interactive event.
(This is actually what allowed me to "bump the freeline" to the point I give away all seminar on the frontpage. The Hot Seat is so much better than any seminar I do that everyone still sees the exponential value in it, no matter how much free content I give away. It's pretty cool how this has worked out for everyone involved.)

Anyway I saw a massive potential here -- I've always been compelled by challenge and breaking new ground, so decided I'd get back into the game as hard as I could for three more years. This was a lot like being a movie actor going FULLY INTO THE CHARACTER.
It's funny because to run RSD I've always had to be a practical person and put aside any personal feelings I have in order to get the job done. That could mean travelling for months at a time, or not sleeping to meet self imposed deadlines, or staying calm when dealing with big egos, or keeping my mouth shut when I disagree with stupid shit being said, or ignoring all distractions in order to make sure I get shit done. Whatever it is, I've always just seen what needs to be done and executed it without a second thought.
Seeing the crazy potential with the Hot Seat format I was basically like "Okay I'm going back into FULL GAME MODE for SEVERAL YEARS until I have this done."
Essentially it was a commitment I made as a practical person to just do whatever it took to deliver the highest amount of value I could to the people who are into RSD. I've always known to trust my intuition and when I saw the potential I knew it was going to produce some amazing results for RSD if I just made no excuses and got the fucken thing done.
The commitment to go FULL GEAR when you've been in business mode for the past few years is pretty intense, but I knew immediately that this was the best thing I could ever do.
Like every Nike add tells you...: HEY LITTLE BITCH STOP MAKING EXCUSES JUST FUCKING DO IT.
(Everything but "just do it" added for emphasis...)
You've probably noticed this in my videos as sometimes I'm more chilled out and academic, and then sometimes I'm a fucken FOOL. Sometimes I come into Free Tour literally minutes after dropping off some girl I just pulled and my head is still in that zone. I'm all belligerent and crazy -- pumping the crowd the way I've been pumping the girl.
This is how I was in this video right here, in spite of my tiredness off the train from Boston and the voice hanging on by a thread (which I hide pretty professionally I think). I'm spouting all this crazy talk about how the only thing I love is the game -- and in the moment I'm saying it, it's ABSOLUTELY TRUE.
Of course I have many other interests -- but in videos like this you get a secret window into the headspace of a guy hitting it up about as hard as humanly possible. All the obnoxious opinions and over the top passion I've been maintaining to hit it up 7 nights a week non stop is coming through.

It's funny because the audio crapped out on the microphones similar to that vBlog I shot on the "Top of the Rock" you saw 2 weeks ago. It was the same mic problem actually.
My very cool editor Aron decided to use the backup audio from a secondary camera, and funny enough we realized that it could make for some pretty cool shots in the video itself. So even though the audio had some funny parts that's what got you the more interesting look/feel to it. Hopefully you thought it was cool.
So aside from entertainment value of the video, what's the main lesson I'm hoping you'll take from it?
The biggest element here is the fact that in order to solve my SMALL AND PETTY problems with women, I've gone to a HIGHER LEVEL PARADIGM. I no longer get all butt hurt over approach anxiety or girls who don't like me, because I've cultivated a true passion for THE GAME ITSELF.
The peak experiences have become the juice for me. All I want to do is be out there killing it. It's like how a skiier might win a race, but what's better? The medal he gets around his neck, or FLYING THROUGH THE FUCKING AIR WHILE HE'S IN A PEAK EXPERIENCE??
What's crazy is that in order to reach the level I needed to for Hot Seat, this is what the game had to become for me. To get this footage I had to move past any interest in material success or status, and make the focal point of my life GETTING BACK IN THE FLOW.
I had to say FUCK IT. FUCK IT ALL. And shift my brain into a space where I'm a full on peak experiences junkie -- feeding off of the pure love and passion for the game.
Does a pro surfer give a fuck about the trophy he gets from the competition, or BLASTING THROUGH THE FUCKEN HALFPIPE OF A 20 FOOT WAVE? Does Eminem give a fuck about living in an oversized mansion, or does he live for ripping it on a crowd of 50,000 people screaming and freaking out?
I had to internalize this mindset and make it completely real.

So how does this apply to YOU ........ RIGHT NOW??
Well imagine being in my current headspace and then hearing newbies ask questions like "How can I do less WORK to meet SUPER MODELS??"
Einstein says that the problems we face can't be solved at the level of thinking with which they were created. So evolve to the NEXT level. A love for the process as much as the result.
YOU can take a small peice of this mindset as well. Maybe not on the same level if you don't wanna go this extreme (I've chosen to make it my JOB and FOCUS afterall...). But at least to a certain degree.
Of course it's up to you.
It's just something that in recording the Hot Seat 2 I found to be helpful to get the damned job done. Where the "character" versus the "reality" of this mindset begins and ends, I'm not entirely sure.
Bottom line is I amped the fuck out of myself into this headspace over the past 2 years as a consummate professional who was willing to do whatever it took to create a great program that I'm proud of, and I found this to get me some pretty insane results with girls.
Take it or leave it -- up to your personal preference. Just thought it could make a cool Free Tour frontpage video in case you found it to be cool.

So on Sunday after this speach I ran a bonus event for Jeff's Hot Seat attendees called "Foundations: Reloaded".
It's the same event I'll be running on the Sundays for you if you sign up for Hot Seat 2 during the launch period -- although this one will also feature Julien's Hot Seat footage which you'll learn around 10X more from than just the talk.
This was my chance to work on the newbie website I want to build, but I also went into some other topics that I thought would make cool ideas for RSDN frontpage videos -- ie: this one right here! :)
The topic is "Massive action" and why "Field experience is king".
I wanted to create this for the RSDN forums more than anything. I think it's kind of a classic video actually, in the sense that it pounds the shit out of the idea of taking MASSIVE ACTION. In the future whenever some guy posts something that's theoretical nonsense out of his ass, we can take this and post it up in his thread to help him out.
I think the video also raises a larger and more important point, however.
THE FOUNDATION OF THE ENTIRE PICKUP COMMUNITY WAS BUILD ON THE IDEA THAT YOU HAD TO *TEST* SOMETHING AT LEAST 10 TIMES BEFORE ASKING ABOUT IT OR TALKING ABOUT IT.
I'm from the "old school" of the community. The types of questions and demands that newbies make these days weren't really tolerated back then because it wasn't as commercialized -- the only response they'd get is "GO FUCKING TEST IT AND REPORT BACK."
The idea was that if you had an idea you not only tested it 1 time, but 10 times, while you were in a different mood, and on different types of girls, before making any conclusions about it.
It was this core principle that made the community great. The idea of EVERYTHING MUST BE FIELD TESTED. It was to the point that whenever Papa and I were out, we'd get some silly idea and then say "Well....Everything must be field tested."
If we saw some girls who seemed too intimidating, "Well, everything must be field tested..."
If we wanted to go to some new city or get into some new club to see if the game worked, "Well, everything must be field tested..."
Even in business over the coming years if we'd have an idea, "Well, everything must be field tested..."
That's what made the community stand out from all the bullshit dating advice. It was ALL field tested.

If you're not out there banging the guns, and banging them hard, you don't really know. So TEST it.

Anyway it's nearly 11AM and I've been up all night prepping this launch which is why I keep saying "Hot Seat 2" over and over in every damned line of this article. :) I obviously want to make sure you're in the loop about it.

Anyway I saw a massive potential here -- I've always been compelled by challenge and breaking new ground, so decided I'd get back into the game as hard as I could for three more years. This was a lot like being a movie actor going FULLY INTO THE CHARACTER.
It's funny because to run RSD I've always had to be a practical person and put aside any personal feelings I have in order to get the job done. That could mean travelling for months at a time, or not sleeping to meet self imposed deadlines, or staying calm when dealing with big egos, or keeping my mouth shut when I disagree with stupid shit being said, or ignoring all distractions in order to make sure I get shit done. Whatever it is, I've always just seen what needs to be done and executed it without a second thought.
Seeing the crazy potential with the Hot Seat format I was basically like "Okay I'm going back into FULL GAME MODE for SEVERAL YEARS until I have this done."
Essentially it was a commitment I made as a practical person to just do whatever it took to deliver the highest amount of value I could to the people who are into RSD. I've always known to trust my intuition and when I saw the potential I knew it was going to produce some amazing results for RSD if I just made no excuses and got the fucken thing done.
The commitment to go FULL GEAR when you've been in business mode for the past few years is pretty intense, but I knew immediately that this was the best thing I could ever do.
Like every Nike add tells you...: HEY LITTLE BITCH STOP MAKING EXCUSES JUST FUCKING DO IT.
(Everything but "just do it" added for emphasis...)
You've probably noticed this in my videos as sometimes I'm more chilled out and academic, and then sometimes I'm a fucken FOOL. Sometimes I come into Free Tour literally minutes after dropping off some girl I just pulled and my head is still in that zone. I'm all belligerent and crazy -- pumping the crowd the way I've been pumping the girl.
This is how I was in this video right here, in spite of my tiredness off the train from Boston and the voice hanging on by a thread (which I hide pretty professionally I think). I'm spouting all this crazy talk about how the only thing I love is the game -- and in the moment I'm saying it, it's ABSOLUTELY TRUE.
Of course I have many other interests -- but in videos like this you get a secret window into the headspace of a guy hitting it up about as hard as humanly possible. All the obnoxious opinions and over the top passion I've been maintaining to hit it up 7 nights a week non stop is coming through.

It's funny because the audio crapped out on the microphones similar to that vBlog I shot on the "Top of the Rock" you saw 2 weeks ago. It was the same mic problem actually.
My very cool editor Aron decided to use the backup audio from a secondary camera, and funny enough we realized that it could make for some pretty cool shots in the video itself. So even though the audio had some funny parts that's what got you the more interesting look/feel to it. Hopefully you thought it was cool.
So aside from entertainment value of the video, what's the main lesson I'm hoping you'll take from it?
The biggest element here is the fact that in order to solve my SMALL AND PETTY problems with women, I've gone to a HIGHER LEVEL PARADIGM. I no longer get all butt hurt over approach anxiety or girls who don't like me, because I've cultivated a true passion for THE GAME ITSELF.
The peak experiences have become the juice for me. All I want to do is be out there killing it. It's like how a skiier might win a race, but what's better? The medal he gets around his neck, or FLYING THROUGH THE FUCKING AIR WHILE HE'S IN A PEAK EXPERIENCE??
What's crazy is that in order to reach the level I needed to for Hot Seat, this is what the game had to become for me. To get this footage I had to move past any interest in material success or status, and make the focal point of my life GETTING BACK IN THE FLOW.
I had to say FUCK IT. FUCK IT ALL. And shift my brain into a space where I'm a full on peak experiences junkie -- feeding off of the pure love and passion for the game.
Does a pro surfer give a fuck about the trophy he gets from the competition, or BLASTING THROUGH THE FUCKEN HALFPIPE OF A 20 FOOT WAVE? Does Eminem give a fuck about living in an oversized mansion, or does he live for ripping it on a crowd of 50,000 people screaming and freaking out?
I had to internalize this mindset and make it completely real.

So how does this apply to YOU ........ RIGHT NOW??
Well imagine being in my current headspace and then hearing newbies ask questions like "How can I do less WORK to meet SUPER MODELS??"
Einstein says that the problems we face can't be solved at the level of thinking with which they were created. So evolve to the NEXT level. A love for the process as much as the result.
YOU can take a small peice of this mindset as well. Maybe not on the same level if you don't wanna go this extreme (I've chosen to make it my JOB and FOCUS afterall...). But at least to a certain degree.
Of course it's up to you.
It's just something that in recording the Hot Seat 2 I found to be helpful to get the damned job done. Where the "character" versus the "reality" of this mindset begins and ends, I'm not entirely sure.
Bottom line is I amped the fuck out of myself into this headspace over the past 2 years as a consummate professional who was willing to do whatever it took to create a great program that I'm proud of, and I found this to get me some pretty insane results with girls.
Take it or leave it -- up to your personal preference. Just thought it could make a cool Free Tour frontpage video in case you found it to be cool.

So on Sunday after this speach I ran a bonus event for Jeff's Hot Seat attendees called "Foundations: Reloaded".
It's the same event I'll be running on the Sundays for you if you sign up for Hot Seat 2 during the launch period -- although this one will also feature Julien's Hot Seat footage which you'll learn around 10X more from than just the talk.
This was my chance to work on the newbie website I want to build, but I also went into some other topics that I thought would make cool ideas for RSDN frontpage videos -- ie: this one right here! :)
The topic is "Massive action" and why "Field experience is king".
I wanted to create this for the RSDN forums more than anything. I think it's kind of a classic video actually, in the sense that it pounds the shit out of the idea of taking MASSIVE ACTION. In the future whenever some guy posts something that's theoretical nonsense out of his ass, we can take this and post it up in his thread to help him out.
I think the video also raises a larger and more important point, however.
THE FOUNDATION OF THE ENTIRE PICKUP COMMUNITY WAS BUILD ON THE IDEA THAT YOU HAD TO *TEST* SOMETHING AT LEAST 10 TIMES BEFORE ASKING ABOUT IT OR TALKING ABOUT IT.
I'm from the "old school" of the community. The types of questions and demands that newbies make these days weren't really tolerated back then because it wasn't as commercialized -- the only response they'd get is "GO FUCKING TEST IT AND REPORT BACK."
The idea was that if you had an idea you not only tested it 1 time, but 10 times, while you were in a different mood, and on different types of girls, before making any conclusions about it.
It was this core principle that made the community great. The idea of EVERYTHING MUST BE FIELD TESTED. It was to the point that whenever Papa and I were out, we'd get some silly idea and then say "Well....Everything must be field tested."
If we saw some girls who seemed too intimidating, "Well, everything must be field tested..."
If we wanted to go to some new city or get into some new club to see if the game worked, "Well, everything must be field tested..."
Even in business over the coming years if we'd have an idea, "Well, everything must be field tested..."
That's what made the community stand out from all the bullshit dating advice. It was ALL field tested.

They don't observe this simple principle: GO TALK TO GIRLS AND TEST OUT THE IDEAS.
Do you think LOOKS matter? GO FIND OUT. Do you think MONEY matters? GO FIND OUT. All these lil bullshiut questions in your head? GO FIND OUT.
If you're not out there banging the guns, and banging them hard, you don't really know. So TEST it.
By doing this I was able to do the things you see in the Hot Seat 2 -- and of course, the cool preview videos that you'll see coming out of it this week.

Anyway it's nearly 11AM and I've been up all night prepping this launch which is why I keep saying "Hot Seat 2" over and over in every damned line of this article. :) I obviously want to make sure you're in the loop about it.
The preview VIP Interest list page will be coming out this Monday, and you'll see some really eye opening previews being slammed out all week. They're going include a lil beared rampage, various thematic videos that show pull highlights, and Julien's all out scumbag ROMP.
It's gonna be a big week. Probably the coolest ever on the frontpage of RSDN.
(Planning to post the previews Monday, Wednesday, Friday, the following Monday, and then launch the Wednesday January 25th. Working to have them all done up on time so we'll see!)
Definitely let me know what you took out of the Passion video and how you think this might help to solve many of your challenges AUTOMATICALLY by taking on this mindset. And then what you thought about taking massive action and how field experience is king?

The reson you hit the flow is because your brain loses attachment, to the girl, what your friends will think etc. and the result if that you are free to litterally field test everything you have ever heard in your life. Like what i just wrote is the root of intent + freed from out come. Its like you say something funny (ie that is funny to you) not to try make people laugh...and the result is people laughing. Its executing with no desire for a result and when you do this for real not just bullshitting yourself you feel fucking good because on some level you know the results are inevitable as its a distinction you make about the world being made when the results are coming and even when they aren't. Then the more you execute the clearer the distinction becomes and the more self trust you develop and it becomes a cycle as ultimately it makes you feel really fucking good

Anyway; I recon it would be good and beneficial if you would talk more about some of the student’s you’ve taught on bootcamp and how the idea’s you’ve applied to their game/personality have enabled them to reach a new level. Sometimes just giving examples of how an idea/principle helped you (you being the millionaire, jet-setter, pimp, business man guy) sometimes can seem a little immaterial to the average Joe in the audience (including me).

These videos reminded me of the mindset I had when I was first starting out in this. Sometimes you get caught up in this image of you don't want to get embaraaseed, but you have to rise above that to get the fun results.
Field is King. Go out and experiment and just try new things and see what happens. The whole fun in this is you never know what the night will bring and what you will bring to the night.
These videos also reminded me that a lot of the stuff that I'm trying to learn is mental masturbation, I haven't got all the fundamentals down pat. 80% of results come from the Basics.

Interestingly, the slap was probably worth the whole bootcamp because I continuosly asked myself what you meant when you said snap out of it and also asked myself what were you doing that night that I was not doing and after about a week after that I realized that I was not enjoying getting rejected, not enjoying the process of walking up to the girl and it really made me look at things differently since.
Although you explain the same concept here, the fact that I did the work to figure it out by myself really made me remember the concept and stick to it a lot more than what I usually would have if it was just explained through this video alone. Watching this video really cemented the belief that this is where my focus really should be when I'm out approaching.

I know you can only say it so many times, but how many guys are actually going out 3+ nights a week and approaching constantly from 10-2? How many guys are pushing the interaction as far as it can go, rather than getting out safe? 5 percent?
Maybe it's just me, but I love the fundamentals. I've been going out for 3 years and doing pretty well recently, but I can't wait for the newbie website material.

BTW, yesterday as I looked at the girl in the eyes in a meditative state, for the first time I could really 100% clearly tell that the girl wasn't listening to SHIT I was saying AT ALL. Something kinda clicked for me while watching the 2nd video. When you were describing how to go up to girls like "Hi" and shake hands one after the other. I think I just need to be told what to DO to get started and then once I have enough reference experiences I'll be able to apply the deeper internal stuff you've talked about.
