Todd's Blog
Hey there, it's Todd.
In this article you will learn how to make your practice time 10X more effective. Practice like a champion, and you will become a champion; Practice like a chode and you will become a chode.
I'm writing this article from Washington DC in the middle of a very cold but fun bootcamp. I have three extremely enthusiastic and hardworking students this weeked who have been an absolute joy to work with. Also, my own game has been reaching new levels in terms of both power and consistency. It seems I'm pulling FAR more regularly than before and my quality is increasing as well. I also am getting texts back from nearly all of my phone numbers.
What has been weird for me lately though, has been my approach apathy. Not sure if it has been a cause or an effect of my greater success of late, but there clearly seems to be a correlation. I'll briefly give you the arguments either way.
a) It could be that my recent success, particularly because it has come on bootcamp, has given me an ego, and that approaching, when the rewards aren't huge, can only negatively affect that ego. Therefore it's just easier not to approach.
b) It could be that by releasing myself from the burden of "having to approach every girl" has allowed me to enjoy my approaches more and to make them less mechanical and forced.
I think the answer is a combination of both a and b... which means that there are positive AND negative aspects to the situation.
Where I'll be next...

Pay particular attention to the Europe dates from April 25th through May 23rd. I don’t come to Europe that often, so be sure to look me up when I am there!
One other administrative note, to clear up any confusion:
YOU CAN PARTICIPATE IN INNER CIRCLE DINNER EVENTS AND MEET WINGMEN IN YOUR AREA -- FOR FREE. There has been some confusion on this matter so I want to clarify. The videos and instructor education through Inner Circle is a paid product, but the groups themselves are 100% free to anyone who wants to come. So take advantage of this amazing resource!

Ok. On to the video.
The video is pretty self contained, and the ideas are very good, so definitely watch it if possible rather than just reading, however if you must absorb these ideas in a written form, the main concepts are these:
-Begin with the end in mind or you'll probably never get there
-Make sure your goals are clearly defined
-Be prepared for success, so you don't trip over your own two feet
-Practice makes PERMANENT, not perfect... bad practice is WORSE than NO practice.
-Don't go throuh the motions
-Be careful what habits you are developing.
Please post your comments and feedback. I’d like to find out what is most important to you, so I can adjust accordingly.
Before I sign off, I want to mention that if you want more unique thoughts and information I put out ideas and lines on both facebook and twitter daily:
facebook.com/rsdtodd
and
twitter.com/rsdtodd
Thanks again, and until next time,
-Todd

Which often ties in with going through the motions. I still find myself doing this from time to time.

You seem to come from less vague/esoteric concepts, and more practical ones (even though borrowed from business, coaching, etc.).
Good value in having this variety.

I'm looking to lay hot girls and creating MLTR's with them. I also want to create a social circle with like minded inviduals who aren't going to freak the fuck out about this stuff. Which I think is really difficult considering I live in a city with a population of 43,232 where hot girls are scarce and dudes are possesive as hell (can't blame them since it REALLY is scarce down here LOL).
Any thoughts?

I recently read a book called The Talent Code which goes alot deeper into the science and art of practice...I highly recommend, it's a great read actually.

I was going through the motions and not trying new things constantly, so I wasn't seeing much progress. Also I have already been an approach machine in the night but I still ahve to approach a lot to get some sucess, I think cause I didn't started to plan things and trying new things, but doing the same thing over and over, just as you said. I think that needs a new level o commitment to say, tonight I will be physical or whatever.
