Todd's Blog

Todd

Hey there, it's Todd.

In this article you will learn how to effectively open ANY girl, ANYWHERE. From concepts to a variety of actual openers and more importantly FOLLOW UP after the opener. Also, as a bonus I’ve included examples of using body language and escalation to build tension, both during the opener and on a day 2. Hope you enjoy it!

Before I get into the article though, I’d like to say that I’ve had one of the MOST amazing weeks ever here in Singapore… It’s always interesting to experience the slight cultural variations from one place to another, and, because it was my first time in Asia, Singapore was particularly enlightening.

Mostly I learned that FOBey Asian girls are very shy during daygame so there is a different sort of calibration required at the beginning of an open… but beyond that I saw one of the most beautiful and highly efficient cities that I’ve ever witnessed.

Aside from the easily visible differences, some amusing, and some shocking… I saw how much people are affected by social conditioning. The people I met in Singapore, were in many ways absolutely exceptional, but in others, they definitely place huge limitations on their expectations and experience of life. This was eye-opening because it’s not some obvious example, but rather a subtly pervasive tiny shift which is ever-present.

Philosophy affects EVERYTHING in life.

I also met some great people out in Singapore who I would like to deeply thank for your help in making the program a success. Thank you to all of you. You know who you are.

One other administrative note, to clear up any confusion:

YOU CAN PARTICIPATE IN INNER CIRCLE DINNER EVENTS AND MEET WIGMEN IN YOUR AREA -- FOR FREE. There has been some confusion on this matter so I want to clarify. The videos and instructor education through Inner Circle is a paid product, but the groups themselves are 100% free to anyone who wants to come. So take advantage of this amazing resource!

Ok. On to the video.

This video is, very simply, on opening. From philosophy to execution to examples, it should give you an excellent framework for opening in any situation and diagnosing your own opening successes and failures.

Also, in illustrating opening, I’ve drawn lessons from many other aspects of game and social interaction, so this video should be generally helpful in the area of body language, day twos, and also the idea of turning social conditioning IN YOUR FAVOR… which is a topic I’ll be addressing more fully in an upcoming video. ENJOY!

So now you have no excuse for not opening (as if you ever did). Continue going out, pushing yourself and most importantly having fun. Life isn’t that serious, nor does it last that long… another future video topic. Until then, challenge yourself to open in situations where you have historically been hesitant, and keep pushing yourself in ALL areas of life.

Before I sign off, I want to mention that if you want more unique thoughts and information I put out ideas and lines on both facebook and twitter daily:

Thanks again, and until next time,
-Todd

Mainly curious about your daygame openers. Alex posted his, pretty straight forward process. like
1 Excuse me
2 Ask anything
3 Change subject
4 Shake hands

Very indirect style. However you proposed to show intent in every set in daygame? I'd like to see your breakdown of that.

This deserves more comments.

I´m glad you focus on outer game as much as you do since many of the
things you mentioned here have been said here and there in RSD stuff but never really put together as clearly in one video.
Nice.

This video was from the Sydney Free Tour - excellent stuff Todd.

Some of the other points you raised during those two hours:
- try forcing a smile for 15 minutes straight. The fake smile will become real without fail (getting into state)
- New Wingman tactics. e.g. you and your wingman hit on the same girl simultaneously, and deliberately, competing against each other. The question in her mind moves away from "Should I have sex with this guy" in a standard one-on-one interaction, to "which one of these two guys should I have sex with" in this situation. Genuis!

I also found the bit on "entitlement" with the example of the bouncer very helpful.

Todd, judging from your videos, you seem to be the least charismatic and have the least amount of raw sexuality of the Rsd instructors who post videos.
Tyler should get some infield footage of you for Hotseat 3. I'd be interested to see it.

Excellent content on opening mechanics. Good editing too, you really condensed a lot of information into this video!

Todd released his first infield video to RSDInnerCircle.com members last month:

Honestly, I was blown away by how quickly he took the set from open to close (this guy operates with killer efficiency and doesn't waste any time!)

Super post! I really enjoy the 15-20 minute seminar-style videos. The demonstrations were informative and also funny. Cheers
