Todd's Blog
Hey there, it's Todd.
In this article you will learn how releasing outcome can give you ultimate power in any interaction. You’ll also see practical examples of how to negotiate and how to force people into your frame of reality.
This is a topic I’ve had on my mind for literally years, but I was never sure quite whether or how to put it out. I’ve always noticed that the guys who seemed to have the least going for them seemed to have most success with women, but it took a long while for it to dawn on me that the reason was that they also had almost NOTHING TO LOSE.
I’m currently writing this article before getting maybe two hours of sleep and then running off to teach a regional conference and bootcamp, so I’m going to keep this short and sweet. The concepts in this video WILL help you if you internalize and apply them.
This week I’ve been doing a 5-day bootcamp with Jeffy in New Orleans and I can tell you that they call it “The Big Easy” for a reason. The girls here are soooo DTF! Jeffy called it redneck vegas. Lol. Anyway it’s a fun time, though not the classiest place I’ve ever been to. Speaking of travel…

One other administrative note, to clear up any confusion:
YOU CAN PARTICIPATE IN INNER CIRCLE DINNER EVENTS AND MEET WIGMEN IN YOUR AREA -- FOR FREE. There has been some confusion on this matter so I want to clarify. The videos and instructor education through Inner Circle is a paid product, but the groups themselves are 100% free to anyone who wants to come. So take advantage of this amazing resource!

Ok. On to the video.
As I said, I’m keeping this one short and sweet, and the video pretty much speaks for itself. The major point is this. Anything you are attached to is a weakness because it has the potential to hold you back. Fear of loss keeps you from being free and from taking risks.
Recognize that everything can and will be taken away eventually, and act accordingly. There’s more, but watch the video. I think it’s quite entertaining.
Also please post your comments and feedback. I’d like to find out what is most important to you, so I can adjust accordingly.
Before I sign off, I want to mention that if you want more unique thoughts and information I put out ideas and lines on both facebook and twitter daily:
facebook.com/rsdtodd
and
twitter.com/rsdtodd
Thanks again, and until next time,
-Todd

Awesome video, man. This is probably one of the most important views when it comes to both game and life, in my opinion. Glad you adressed it! More videos like this are most welcome, thanks! :)

Strategy wise... Would you say going super hardcore should be not at the beginning of the night (say, 11pm-1am), but later?
So, at the beginning it is like cool and friendly, and then, you go "nothing to lose" authoritative/asshole mode?
Ready to make male friends, female friends get shocked at you, etc. Ready to get kicked out of the club?
I just don't see myself going hardcore early... it seems to be a waste of energy.

can you do a video on your day2 tatics that gets girls to invest and game you more? I really liked your tip about making things awkward at the start so it can only get better. What are some other distinctions that make your close rate be so high on day2s?

Thankyou this video really resignated with me.
I am turning 19 at the end of this year and how you described yourself at that stage of your life is exactly how I am now.
I am always working on what I can do in the future, and whistiling away what I could do right NOW. It is so weird you talking about a situatuon that is practically identical to mine, "preserving" myself for someting better, the special unopened trading card was a great analogy. Haha!
Anyways thanks Todd, another thing you have said recently that I am starting to hammer in, is the closing stuff. Actually trying to be a finisher, I hate to admit it but I think I am also afraid! So embarrasing.
Since I found game, about 5 months ago (was 17 then), I have gained so much more confidence and I know I have what it takes to become a fucking master at this stuff. But im not jumping through final windows, I even found myself last month telling a girl I was going to find my freinds when I thought she ready to be fucked.

Good for you. I wonder if we all found this stuff at 17, how different would life be? I think we need to all live in the moment, adopt that fight club philosophy of, "only after you lost everything, you are free to do anything," and live it. Adopt that reality that, we have nothing to lose, and everything to gain.

In my philosophy class I learned about a greek god whom did not love his family. This god did not love his family because he was at war, so if someone were to kill his family, he did not feel any remorse. Now this may seem very extreme being family and all; however, you can apply this method with anyone you meet. So if you had a friend or a girl flake on you, or even stab you in the back, you feel nothing. Having nothing to lose helps you be clear in your intent, because all you want to do is have fun, make it epic, and maybe get laid.
This is one of your best posts Todd, and you have many of them.

To take it a step further, I think when we disapprove of someone's behavior, many people will try to tell you that you're not really a "Nihilist" because you're trying to impose your morals. Which people will say that you're logically inconsistent for doing so. However, I've been able to reconcile those behaviors along with Nihilism IMO.
This is how I've done it: When I disapprove of someone's behaviors, I am simply displaying how I'm disliking certain actions, but in no way am I making moral claims. I am simply being emotionally honest by expressing myself about it while simultaneously being aware that the universe has no meaning.
But then again, I don't have to be logically consistent :P
Anyway, thats enough philosophy ;-)
