Hey guys,In this article you will learn:
How to skyrocket your skills in pickup by doing "compound" exercises in the club(push to failure)
How micromanaging your game might hurt your development and lead to failure
How fear of failure/success might hold you back when you approach
Comments are welcome.

On Amsterdam with Julien as I write this article. This town is amazing with trams and canals all over the place. European as they come. I feel the need to move and live here for some reason. Back to England on Sunday though. I miss London after a couple of days. Easy flight to come here. I will be shooting a video blog here on Fear of Success, so watch out for that.

Becoming confident is a lifetime work. Contrary to popular opinion, you don't need to learn new skills. You already have enough skills, you are just not using them. Skill building has a lot to do with unblocking skills you already have, not building new ones. Are you blocking away or unblocking your skills with your actions? You might want to pay attention at what you do, how you think, your unconscious tendencies to find clues. unconscous fears might be holding you back. How do you get rid of them?
What are your hangups? it is very important to know what you are up against.  What does that voice in your head say? What makes you feel threatened at club level or day time scenario? This could be anything from bitchy girls to jealous boyfriends. Whatever is making you feel creepy, awkward, or inferior, identify it, give it a name, and write it down. You can also declare bankruptcy on those things. Say to yourself, "I can not handle a girl being bitchy to me". Period. "I am not good looking". Period. "I won't approach hot girls because I can not handle being rejected by a hot woman". Declare bankruptcy about those things and accept this is where you are right now. First step to solve an issue is admitting you have it. Part of the problem is resistance to having an issue and bypassing it. By pretending you don't have it, it will only extend the pain.

Go public. There is something about going public about something that makes it easier to deal  with. It is like sharing your goals with friends and becoming accountable for them. It works the same way with insecurities because you feel powerful by not talking about them and exposing yourself to redicule. You might be afraid of fear. By talking about it, you got rid of your fear of fear. Find out you are just another normal guy with typical insecurities, not a freak. On my bootcamps, I make my students write their insecurities on paper and read them outloud to the group. As soon as they do that, they start feeling better about themselves. Confidence starts to build because you free yourself from your fear of what people think of you.

Confident body language drills. There is something about your body changing positions and your emotions. it has the the effect of changing your psychological state. Notice how confident people stand, sit, move their arms. Try and practice that without their confidence. Eventually you will build up to that confidence. Don't worry if you feel fake for a while. I make my students walk like a winner. The first night they feel like frauds but by the third day they feel congruent. It works.

Do something nice for others.
Tell your friends something good about them. By doing something nice for others you get positive reinforcement from your environment thus building your confidence. You only get from the universe what you put out there first. Start the flow from/to by doing something nice. If you are in a night club with your wings, compliment them on their approaches. Have something good to say about them and they will support you when the time comes. Fear of Failure/Success. Basically two sides of the same coin. You might be more afraid of success than you might think at this point. What if things work out for you? What if, all of a sudden, the impossible appraoch turns out to be successful? Most guys are prepared for failure. They know what to do when they fail. The are ready for failure. But they have no plan B for success. As a result, they don't try hard enough. They are not ready for when things work out. As a result, they self sabotage. They don't want to win because it is unknown. Fear of the unknown doesn't make distinctions between success and failure. You are just afraid of a situation you won't be able to control.Peace out. Catch me on the road if you can around Europe.

I had the same thing. The problem was that I had too little freedom from outcome. Try to relax but approach anyway. Do meditation throughout the week, it will be easier once you are infield. Although it could be an outer game issue too. It all depends.

One of the first things I started enjoying about game was fear. I knew that if I was feeling fear, I was growing. When I reach a point were I'm bored, or completely comfortable, I know I'm not pushing hard enough.

Yes Ozzie. Great artical. Training myself to take action when I feel that tingle of fear, that resistance. This is all important in my opinion. Gaining confidence through the reduction of insecurities. Admit your insecurities and the feeling of confidence will automatically increase.

being bored is a result of not facing your fears and not challenging yourself hard enough.

For sure I'm going to view the hottest set in the club differently from now on. The approach tactic described in the video looks so crazy and stupid I must try it out a few times, doesn't matter how well the set goes I can always re approach normally.

In a way I feel sorry for "JIMBOpickup" and others who gets sucked in to this group. I took a look at their website and the whole thing is a joke. Check out the "Chodes Night Out" videos on www.alexattitude.com/ and see how NLP and a fake pickup coach can do more harm than good. I have been down that road once. Join Inner Circle for free.
