THE FORUMS

Disclaimer: First, I have to tell you that a boot camp is, first and foremost, an EXPERIENCE. Trying to write down all that happened would be impossible. The exercises, the bonding, the outrageous fun, the breakthroughs (some were incredible!), the epiphanies, the unbelievable feelings and all the adventures you have with the women you meet is very hard to explain in writing. Second, because it is an experience trying to explain it to someone who has never been on one can be like trying to describe the color “blue” to someone who has never had sight. Third, as this was my second boot camp, I think there was a cumulative effect. The 1st one made the 2nd one even more powerful.

To keep this post brief and most useful, I will focus on only one incident that, to me, really illustrates why I got so much out of this bootcamp.

On Friday night, Brad and me pulled a pair of doctors from a club in Hollywood. MDs!! Brad’s was an Emergency Room doctor, min an obstetrician. What was really cool about this was that these were the kind of women I really like- smart, doing something important with their lives and helping others. And of course they were also HOT!!

Seeing Brad in action executing this pull was an great education. So smooth, so relaxed. Seeing the way he dealt with the women, and being able to assist in the pull was a wonderful education. Honestly, on my own I would have been so turned on by these women that I would have blown it. I was really impressed by these women and was, quite frankly, messing up until Brad showed me what to do. I would have not have been able to do the pull on my own. Fortunately, Brad was there.

One of the things I got from Brad was how to keep control of the PU as you leave the club together (a MAJOR sticking point!). I can open all day (I don’t need a boot camp for that!) but I want to CLOSE. Also, seeing how he chilled with the women and how Brad explained the logistics of the close to me while they were in the bathroom was priceless. All these details that constantly mess me up. It was so great having someone, in real time (while the PU was going on!), explain and demonstrate to me what to do next. There is no substitute for seeing a master in action. I could see 100 little ways I have messed up in the past.

The other great thing about Brad was he was so patient. He is a great teacher. Totally non judgmental. Totally present. Because my girl was married and was obviously deeply conflicted about what to do, the pull didn’t go all the way through. In fact, I thought I had messed up the pull for Brad too. I felt bad.

But Brad was there to explain everything to me. He was there, first and foremost, to teach me. That was his priority- not the girl. I was really impressed. Honestly, I would have been mad if someone like me had messed up my pull. His girl was FAR more into him than mine was into me. He stuck around, even after the bootcamp was officially over, so that I could see what to do. He really wanted to make sure I got it.

Anyway, I also had an outrageously fun time and had a great time with the guys on the bootcamp. We created a great energy together. I was able to access parts of me that I had never accessed before. There was something about the environment that Brad, Tyler and Oljay created that helped me understand things about myself and PU that I have have before.

Even though it was, quite frankly, difficult on me financially, I am glad I went. And I am glad I got to meet Brad and learn from him. I am looking forward to hearing from him on the February mastermind.
