Hey guys, I have just got into EFT and I have read the The EFT Manual, I have been doing some tapping my self. One of the big things I want to work on is my Approaching, for example the other night I saw a girl that I so so so so wanted to approach, but I just couldn't, my heart started to beat at like 100 miles an hour, and I felt if I went up to her I would faint lol. Now I know I will have layers to this 'fear' and I have been doing some tapping and I have been going through the approaching situations in my mind, and I have been coming up with things like = I don't know what to say, She might have a boyfriend, I worry what she thinks of me...etc I am guessing these are the 'layers' to the fear, and that I should tap on each one, and keep tapping on things that come up righ? Now there is a big belive in me that I need a decent job to get a decent girlfriend. When i think about this I automaticly think I wont get anywhere because I havent got a decent job, to 'provide' sorta speak. Now how would I work on this belive, would I have to try and break it down into more layers?

Hey Bro,

Good to know that you started EFT yourself. Yes you are right. there are diffrent set of patterns and beliefs that are set into ur unconcious. You have to break them first and this can be done only by EFT. As a matter of fact i was even fucking worse then you. I would like you to try " Magnus Tapping on approch Anxitey" stuff found on youtube. Its about 20 mins long and lots of guys had said that he worked for them. This is simply the first step. If that does not help then make a note of all the stuff u think while approching girls or thinking to approch a girl. Just make a list over the paper and tap on them untill you wont feel that emotion anymore. Remember that persistance is the key if you are not able to find the core issue. Alternatively you can contact or PM Erika. She will be a valuable theripist for you.

I tried just tapping the points of my fingertips in class yesterday cause I felt anxious and immeditately I felt better.  Im now a believer in tapping.  Im gonna start tapping for everything.  But I think the most important part is coming up with your exact feelings and beliefs that you want to get rid of.  Good stuff shankar!

An Important Advice :

Guys !! as per my experiance when you are working with EFT, the results are guranteed if you done ur job right. However some people wont get immediate results due to lots of reasons.

So always remeber this stuff :

WHEN EVER U R WORKING ON ANY BELIEF OR ISSUE DONT TRY TO IMAGINE IT, JUST FEEL IT. I AM REPEATING IT " JUST FEEL IT, DONT IMAGINE".

Lots of guys just imagine and tap which does not have that much power. Instead just feel the emotions and work on it, trust me by this way ur hitting to the core.

So are you in an emotional stat where you feel it or in a logical state where you ask questions and make observations? I'm a little confused... :)

Hey,

What Shankar is saying is that you want to feel as close to the actual emotion in the moment as you can, then EFT will work. The stronger the emotion feeling the better. For example approach anxiety­... You don`t just want to think about approaching a girl without any emotions and tap on it. Act as if a hot girl was right in front of you and you were about to cold approach her, that will get your resistance (emotions) up and you can tap on those negative beliefs.
