-Musashi by Eiji Yoshikawa (Musashi was Japan's greatest swordsman and this book deals with his self-development)
-2001 Space Odyssey by Arthur C. Clarke
-The Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle (people spend too much time in the past or in the future: IRRELEVANT)
-The Selfish Gene by Richard Dawkins (it's good to understand where we came from and how we survive). If you're Finnish, read also Esko Valtaoja's books about the same topics.

What?!? Nobody checked out "Mastery: The Keys to Success and Long-Term Fulfillment" by George Leonard? This is nuts! Really, that's the kind of thing that should be mandatory to every adult but whatever.

Take me to Truth-Undoing the Ego (Sanchez and Vieira)

Great reading along the lines of Tolle's stuff.

Successful Standup Comedy (Perret)

I read some other books on standup comedy and they were mostly about joke structure, se ays, etc. This one's all about developing a commanding stage presence, character and charisma. AWESOME book.

Influence: The psychology of persuasion (Cialdini)

Probably most are familiar with this but I haven't seen it mentioned yet. A must-read IMO.

I just want to say that I'm reading Way of Superior Man for the first time.

Guys, read, highlight and take notes of Chapter 15 and 16. Chapters 15 & 16 will forever and ever clear the "mystique" of sh t tests, and flaking. It is an "aha" moment for sure, and those that have read it can second that.

Awesome.
