FR: Thurs. Free Toronto Seminar with Nathan and Jeffy

I was pretty surprised Nathan was there and I was fucking surprised Jeffy was there. I expected a bunch of interns or something. Jeffy really kept the marketing ULTRA minimal and taught us as much as he could in the time he had. This is a sign that RSD isn't some money hungry organization at all. I could never see a certain other organization giving free seminars.

So I drive for an hour or so from Waterloo to Toronto. I'm wondering if the drive will be worth it. I shouldn't have doubted because RSD really delivers quality, even in a free seminar.

I get in and see this extremely muscular guy. He looks really confident and rock-solid. I could see disasters happening around him and he'd be the one carrying people to safety or something. I know he has to be someone and I ask him and figure out he's Nathan. I'm like whoa Nathan is here. Pretty cool a seminar by an actual RSD coach.

So I get inside the room and I'm waiting awhile. And I figure out Jeffy is gonna do the presentation. I'm like WTF Jeffy is doing a free presentation? I'm all excited now.

Jeffy walks in with a billowing cape-like wool coat. Somehow you know he's the man and the badass is here. Nathan gives like 5 minutes of marketing.

Jeffy then proceeds to give the 2 hour seminar. I think I really understood that RSD isn't about the money here. I could tell he did his best to pack in the most valuable material for his timeslot. There was no bullshit, cliffhanging, holding back secrets or marketing shit at all. He talked about the DVD products for like 5 minutes tops. RSD has real fucking integrity. Even given their good reputation and my involvement on this board I expected more marketing.

A lot of it was familiar to me, but the things that registered to me because I'm probably not doing it is.

-the CLAW gets stronger. I only did 7 forearm CLAWS and then stopped doing them. I gotta keep pumping my CLAW.
-giving value
-leading
-Jeffy goes out with a very light routine stack that's amusing to himself. I should do this too
-yelling excuse me, excuse me as an opener like a badass, that looked really cool I gotta try that

Routine1: Hey, I'm looking for my friend.
HB: Who?
Me: Waldo
HB: Either hahaha or who's that?
Me: Describe Waldo

Then I'll transition into roleplay or something. I need two more things to try if I run out of steam.

Anyway after the seminar, Jeffy who was hungry and tired stayed for a long time answering questions. He kept answering questions till they turned the lights out on us lol.

Met a bunch of cool dudes to wing with in Toronto too. I dunno how often I'll be in Toronto, but I wanna see them in action lol.

I felt a little shy/intimidated when I asked him my question about smiling too much. He said I'm over analyzing and I shouldn't be worrying about things like that. He even took the time to think about what I might be doing wrong. He said he read some of my FR's and it sounded like I was creeping the girls out. I started to think about this and I think it comes back to the giving value thing.

Another thing he said was to another guy and I think it applies to me is go for same-day pulls. If you pull on a day2 it's because of a logistical thing and the girl really should've wanted to go home with you the same night.

I think this was a pretty valuable thing to hear. I was thinking that I'm too new to do same day pulls and I should build it up on the day2... but if she doesn't even want you on day1 why would she come out on a day2? I'm gonna adopt this mentality and try it. No more settling for numbers, I'm gonna push for make-outs.

It was a really good seminar. No marketing information hold back gimmicks. He did his best to offer something complete in 2 hours.

Cool.
I'd like to do in the future a bootcamp with the RSD guys.

Would it be possible to Ozzie to come and give a bootcamp in Mexico City or near the city I live? It would be cool, I hear him saying to me:
Oz: 'Close'!!
Me: OK
Oz: 'Run the train', "CLOSE"

My goal this year is to be more social, I'm AFRAID of going out alone to clubs as I think my social value would plummet down, because it's very easy to run into some familiar face when you go out.

I just signed up for the 2 hour seminar in Aspen on the 26th with Tyler. Since I'm not too far off I decided to go up there for the weekend and mix it in with a little skiing. Anyone else gonna be there?

Also, is being able to ask questions typical for these type of things? I could think of a couple things I'd love to ask when the time comes.

Tyler is so tight he reads your mind and answers all of the attendees' questions through the material. There will be no need to vocalize them.

Hey there Jeffy! I've got your program on my Ipod and I've been listening to it lately when I go to the gym to workout. I love the part on vocal projection. It reminded me of something that happened last year when I was flying back from my trip to Germany. I was so pumped and excited about having the time of my life in Europe that I unintentionally raised the volume of my voice having a conversation with my brother. He even told me "dude, your talking too loud, quiet down", but I couldnt help myself. Shortly after that some woman a few seats away from where I was sitting, went out of her way to turn around and opened up a conversation with me. Great stuff!

The seminar was truly glorious. I had an unexpected reunion with Jeffy and Nathan, and was privileged to have had my mind be infused with PURE GOLD KNOWLEDGE for over two hours.

I also had a supreme revelation from above: IMPOSSIBLE IS NOTHING!

It was then and there that I made my decision to follow my dream and embark on a career as a jlaix impersonator.

Yes. Watch out, ladies of the Mission, if you find yourselves face-to-face with a man clad in cashmere peacoat, Raiders cap, and blinged-out pinky ring, who asks you in a super-creepy voice, "What's your deepest fantasy?", and proceeds to tell you stories about how his cat got laid, some balloons in the park or some shit, and the fabled summer of ripped abs, you might not be about to get fucked by the real thing.

Caveat emptor.
