Every Moment of Your Life...

Is a frame in a film.

You are the main character.

You are at starbucks and the cute girl making your coffee looks up.

Do you look at her nervously or do you give her a seductive glance?

It's up to you.

Are you Pierce Brosnon or Jason Biggs?

Only you know. Only you decide.

Every single second is a frame in the film of your life.

Which character are you playing right now?

Which character do you want to play?

It's as simple as deciding who the character is that you want to play, and then wiping away all doubts.

In the same spirit of thinking about the moments of life passing by, I've been thinking a lot about how I want to live my life and be remembered because I just attended my grandmother's 90th birthday, and during the party she hosted, I thought about how grateful I am to be alive and what amazing things I want to accomplish. This thought really gets me in state.

I know exactly what you are talking about papa.

Taking it one step further (and probably just expanding on what you said)...

The thought of death is THE single most motivating thought there is. If you can really imagine it, and grasp it for a second, it's like your reality flips on its head and a fire is literally lit under your ass.

I know that Steve Jobs adheres to this sort of philosophy and I think a few others do as well..
