While walking see a mixec 3 set. They're bumping each other and I say "hit harder, more force, don't let her treat you like that"
An asian chick walking. I open her saying her bag is intense, like a military bag, almost. Her boyfriend's right there.
To Virgin Megastore:
I open a girl that looks hot from behind. "should I go with the red basket or the black basket?" some discussion on this but she turns out to be old and I eject.
On escalator pimp101 opens a set behind us and stalls. I ask the chick if she can buy me a CD, because it's Christmas. She says it's her birthday and it's Christmas and I should get her one. I do the ยป hoop the hoop thing and say
"okay, I'll buy you a cd if you buy me a cd first, but it has to be good...no pop...if you buy me pop, this relationship is over"
she laughs. She's with her mom and at the end of the escalator ride I sort of let the set go cause I kinda felt wierd hitting on a chick in front of her mom.
pimp101 opens a 3set, he kinda stalls. He mentions a scarf and we banter about details on the scarf. Then I suggest playing tug-of-war with it. Some banter on that, one of the other chicks (the hottest one, incidentally) whispers something to her and they start to walk, I try to engage her, say something about something she's wearing. Then the last chick isn't wearing anythign unique and I tell her that.
pimp101 spots a chick that looks hot from a distance but next to a guy, not sure if they're together. Oh well, fuck it. I go up, look at a bag she's holding, it has a picture of a model on it and I ask who it is. She doesn't know, I ask the guy if he knows and it's noticeable they aren't together. But it doesn't matter anyway cause she look sold, again.
Fuckin winter. Can't tell if a chick's cute until you're close.
pimp101 opens a really fuckin hot Italian chick (8.5 or 9). Cold reads her that she's Italian then says she isn't. She's cold, we're lost for negs and we (spontaneously) both play it as a 2set, like we'd talk about Italy, travels, etc. but to ourselves, occasionally addressing her. It doesn't work and she walks off.
We go outside. I open a chick standing on the street.
"you have a shiny bag"
"yes it is shiny"
"if you walk around at night and it's dark, cars will reflect their headlights off of it and you'll be safe"
"hehe, it also becomes a disco ball"
"oh, so does everyone start dancing?"
some shit is said then I decide to beat-box a disco beat which she dances along to. and she does.
I decide it's time to tone down energy level a bit and vibe. I ask why she's standing there next to large boxes of trash in the middle of the street. She's waiting for her brother who's talking to a musician. She's a musician. We vibe about music. I qualify that. More random talking. She asks what I'm up to, I just say I'm hanging with my friend, who at the time is staring blankly at a building and I say we like to look at buildings as a hobby.
Eventually decide to close. But number is sketch. I ask if she has her phone with her and she says it's a home number. I ask when she'll pick up, she kinda fumbles. Seems like obvious bullshit to me. Oh well. Not sure where I went wrong. Probably didn't let her work enough for it
Anyway, we continue. I open a chick with flowers. "are those for me?"
"yeah, $20"
"what? I thought you loved me?...what about all those letters you sent me?"
"letters??" and laughing
"yeah, and the good times we had together...you know, behind the dumpster.."
she laughs "I'm not sure about that"
"fine, it's over between us"
Good times. Still much to work on. In general
1) gotta be prepared with the tougher, much much rarer 8+ sets, brush up on negs, haven't used them since sunset blvd sarging many months ago
2) tone down energy, more disinterested BL, don't try so hard while opening originally
3) make them work for close
4) start telling sets that are walking away to stop (not sure about this one? would they just stop naturally if they want to keep talking and if they're walking off it's a lost battle?)
