First things first, if you didn't check out the webinar yourself... Why the hell not? Here's a guy who's super successful offering 2 hours of FREE content and answering your questions. So much value. I was at one of my girls' places and at 11pm I was like "Got a webinar to catch. Peace!"  LOL. Decided to post my notes up here anyway. So check em eooout: Emotional Intelligence: Mastering your Emotions, Finding Your Inner Purpose, and Living a More Positive and Fulfilling Life What's this all about? Moving to an identity under your control Brad's journey to this Deciding his direction: Got in to pickup - realized he could go deep Problems he had before PU:

1) Was never a risk taker - wanted security and safety - med school path was the socially accepted version of "success" - Opposite spectrum of pickup instructor - shows the shift

2) Never asserted himself - introversion through risk of embarrassment, causing trouble etc.

3) Constant questioning of himse

f -e.g. Am I doing the right thing? what is the right path? What am I doing with my life? So what this is all about is getting into being on your right path Everyone should have a coach One thing you have to do to be successful in finding and sticking to your journey is using emotional intelligence to:

Master Your Emotions

Recognizing, manipulating and utilizing emotions for success What are emotions?

They are signals, making you conscious of your response to an event They point to decisions you need to make about situations. Either that you are on the right track or on the wrong track. You are not your emotions. Most people think they are their emotions, and cannot detach themselves from them (good old Tolle shit) What are negative emotions? They are signals your life situation is not in alignment with your values. They arise when you are not on your path as a man, and are unsure of your place in the world. Your reaction to situations is under your control There are only events - none of which are objectively good or bad. It's how you frame them that makes them either good or bad to you. "There's no good or bad, only thinking makes it so" e.g. Students broken nose - cannot change the situation so why not change the belief? (I look like a rugged manly caveman boss) So, it's all about how you FRAME situations and events. How can you do this? The Reframe Take a event that causes negative emotions and constantly reframe it to the positive This can take one reframe or 100 e.g. Julien style - broken nose - makes me more attainable Brad's Reframe Technique: Three Steps of Extreme Self Love

1) Become aware of the negative emotion Recognize it's just an emotion This creates distance from your emotions, allows you to see them for what they are e.g. word makes student aware

2) Cultivate the dicipline to cut it off the negative emotion
Problem is bad emotions can be perversely comforting, many people are addicted to them You've just got to be the man and say enough is enough e.g. Brad pirating RSD products, thought he wouldn't become instructor but then just decided to LET GO Tell yourself "either way I'm still alive" and decide not to stress about it anymore As you do it more you can cut it more and more quickly e.g. Brad's girlfriend causing drama at launch

3) Positive Reframe
Reframe using the idea of Extreme Self Love Like the 50th Law - turning shit into sugar How to cultivate more positive emotions? Make decisions align with your life values Constantly be moving forward in all aspects - reaching potential e.g. Brad talking to girl a girl when he was painting - didn't feel he deserved her 100% Immerse yourself in areas of your life and maintanance mode others

Finding Your Inner Purpose
The Wheel Of Life Put your goals/values on the spokes Brad's Spokes: - Finances - Career - Being an influencer - affect people in a good way - Health - Physique - Skill aquirement - traveling, jujitsu, snowboarding - Social circle - Girlfriend - Family - Spiritual? Put on 6 - 10 spokes, even 20 if you need to Make Goals Specific Flesh out each spokes - write a paragraph for each spoke. You want to go as detailed as possible, spend a few hours doing this Ask yourself: what material things do I want? They must be specific and measurable - no vague "I want to have adventures" type shit Examples Social circle - how much do you want to see them? I want this or that situation in my hometown Obscure ones - family Skill attainment - get specific, black belt in jujitsu Game - be able to pull once a week, have a few girlfriends Guys are more reactionary with pickup - should treat it the same as a biz with set goals The idea here is to find your ideal vision and make it clear Set A Timeframe For Goals You can only see so far ahead So set a 2 year timeframe (Can't see 3 rungs up, only 2, have to climb a bit before you can see further) The Wheel Of Life is about figuring out and making specific what it means to: Be On Your Path This involves:

1) Having a clear vision of your ideal situation
The difference between success and failure: mistakes show what you did wrong then you become successful by using that knowledge Failure - when you give up when there are hurdles

2)Your Inner Purpose is What Gets You Through
AKA WHY DO YOU WANT IT? e.g. remove stress e.g. financial success so you can bring friends into your life Should I get out of bed? Think about the purpose Self Esteem comes from being on your path Pushing through bad times and feeling stressed Knowing why you want success with woman Have positive reasons why - negative reasons make you unhappy and you won't feel good when you get the results Good reason - reach my potential cause it'll give me more self esteem etc

3) Measurable goals
Most peoples goals aren't defined goals Every 2 weeks make a goal you need to achieve - see if you attained it, then you can change it Look at one area - e.g. social circle Goals must be measurable - see 1 friend When you measure you can tell if you're improving or not Day of Productivity Take a day to plan out the next 2 weeks, set short term goals, look at your long term goals Make sure to do this, do that Makes you more efficient, effective. e.g. work on train cause you have momentum Education Of Millionaires - "what's the bare minimum i can do" is most people's philosophy. The way to live your life is do more than you're supposed to. You'll be rewarded for giving more value Look at your wheel of life and prioritize Case study wanted to start Virtual Business Had full time job 2 week goal Get contract in 2 weeks Case Study IF YOU HATE YOUR JOB Job of Doom If you do have something to move towards what can I do right now with this? e.g. take initiative, do it within safety net of your company You can even learn from a job you think has nothing to offer Learning from something - will feed into your own business Case studies show using measurable goals and wheel of life

That is one way of dealing with negative emotions. Brad explored his take on emotions as indicators of whether you are on your path, and shared useful strategies for working with negative thoughts and emotions which I (and I'm sure many others) found very useful. That was one of a number of topics in the webinar.

 Wow, nice detailed notes!

I'm excited to do the webinar again tonight.  I'm actually creating a powerpoint so it's more engaging too.

Gonna tweak some of the examples, and should be a fun experience tonight.

For anyone not signed up yet, RSDWebinar.com  It's at 9pm EST tonight.  You'll get emailed the registration link when you sign up.

And for those that already attended, the same link will work tonight if you wanna check it out again.

Cheers,
BB
