I am coming up to my last day of the 2nd 30 day challenge of the summer and at the end of this challenge I am planning on doing another 30 day challenge except refraining from any research or studying pick up related material. I am going to focus only on meditation, NLP, and self-esteem related research.

I've found myself becoming slightly addicted to pick up information like a place of hiding. When I'm out doing my approaches I kinda want to rush so I can get back home and research more as if there is some magic pill or something that I don't know yet that will change my game forever. I also feel like this will give me more reason to get more hobbies or do more stuff, basically get a life.

Can anybody relate to this information addiction that I am going through? I know all the information I need to know for a successful pickup, I just need to work on myself now.

I know what you mean. Theory sounds great. I think RSD videos are fantastic and even more valuable if you are going out as you can relate to them with direct field experience.

Personally i think SKILLS are overrated in cold approach. You don't need many skills at all. Most of the times things are outside our control anyway.

I think your idea of not saturating yourself with knowledge/theory is great. Go out with minimal information in the field. The more you have the more it fucks you up. The more you try to micromanage interactions, the more you weird girls out. When I was saturating myself with theory it put me in a place of paralysis. Lots of performance related anxiety where you need the perfect approach, nothing else matters.

Deffo hit the field with almost nothing, you will see a sky rocket in your game.

Muscle mate, males have a tendency to think, to over analyze, and preassume that more info or knowledge relates to success.

With the sexes, pulling stunners and SMOKE SHOWs, its about primal urges, cultivating a lifestyle, and conditioning natural responses.

Emotional stimuli at the prospect of pulling, primal desires, your deeper inhibitions, and a evolutionary motivational driving force to procreate.
With gsme, its about projecting your reality, your qualities, character traits all the while, picking up on social cues, and unleashing your primale desires at a fierce pace.

At this time, I highly recommend you pull back the material, you hit pause, maybe even take a break from your challenges, consider a vacation from game, something rather less particular, and more open ended.

Game is a form of art and self expression but, when conditioned to follow guidelines, you are still a student, and one seeking a master teacher.

Similar to MM, there are canned material, pick up lines or routines, and techniques. This is the pua training wheels. If it gets you out of the house and forces you to take action, by all means.

Understand, there comes a time when a man sets aside his childish ways, ditches the training wheels, the "fake it till you make it" and actually is that man.

To cut down on time, consider hot seat, boot camp, free tour but, also do yourself a favor and befriend naturals. It cuts down time on this stuff, gets you back to the basics, and introduces you to a simpler way of life.

When all else fails mate, return back to what you know best, and reap the rewards life has in store for you.

Out of curiosity, how did your 30day challenge go?

Thanks for the input guys. I used to do MM and I would have a list of openers, DHVs, and whatever else he teaches. I go direct now because it is more confidence boosting for me and easier to get in state and I go in field with no notes.
My 30 day challenge(s) has gone really well. The first 30 day challenge was not structured and if I went to the grocery store and told one girl she was cute I would count that as mission accomplished. I did a lot more night game and got a few make outs but no solid number closes.
The second 30 day challenge that I am doing now is Simple 30 by the Simple Pickup guys. Basically every day you do a challenge like an example is to approach 5 women and disagree with them on something. I liked this better than my random 30 day challenge because I couldn't just go to the mall, hit on one girl and leave. This challenge has resulted in no make outs so far but I did all day game and I've never done a kiss close in the daytime. I did have much better conversations and had a few good number closes.
Since I did more approaching in the second 30 day challenge my confidence has gone way up.

Double post.
This is my last day of game related material for a while. Any recommendations for books or video sets on meditation, ego control, self esteem, confidence?

 musclebobbuff....

Not that you haven't been told this by everyone else but myself as well went out for a just a couple weeks with no videos or reading the forum and do better than I was doing before.  I agree with everyone that with too much "knowledge" from the videos you are overthinking and it is messing with your "persona" or "aura" and girls can sense that.

Give it a shot and post back when you are done and lets us know how it went for you.

Good luck!

I think that might be a good idea to take a small break from self improvement as well. I have a couple of books that I am in the middle of reading so I would like to finish those but to keep myself occupied at coffee shops I'll probably find a good fiction book to read.
