Ok so in the last 3/4 months I've been actively working on my dance floor game, I really did find this important as at a curtain time in the night most women will be on the floor and your verbal game becomes nearly useless.

Firstly I would like to say, and the guys who know me will also say, I cannot dance well, I really am not a good dancer. I had always stuck to basic small dance moves before I began to try and improve.

So lets have a look at where most people go wrong?
So a hot girl will be surrounded by guys on the dance floor doing one or more of three things.
A- staring creepily hoping she will dance over to him
B- trying to dance into her in the hope it will stick and she will continue to stay with him
C- making half assed attempts at physical approaching, this is usually either pointing and trying to usher her over to him, a weird poke or a weak grab.

Basically the trick is to do none of the above. If you get on the dance floor do it with friends to have fun or to enjoy yourself DO NOT follow these girls around giving them massive attention (think of the Value your giving her and Taking from yourself). Just enjoy yourself! Never try to just walk up and start grinding with people, this happens to women ALOT!
Instead you need to make your approach in a meaningful way.avoid the awkward embarrassed approach that I described earlier. Be shameless and ballsy! Massive action will get you massive results in this department. I personally will go strait over, into the middle of the group and offer up my hand like I want them to shake it. I do this with 100% belief that it will work and don't hold back (I've had a lot of people trying to mimic me with this and 90% of them fail at first because they are fearful that it will be rejected, this causes them to make a weak, scared approach and it comes across a little creepy) I have found that pretty much everyone will respond (I've tried it probably 30/40 times and its only not worked once) from there ill take there hand, spin them around, step back slightly and spin myself around (whilst still in contact), from here I have done variations of high fives (high, low, behind back) to pulling them in close grabbing for a hug and moving into some kind of old school ball room stuff.

The key to this is to keep things fun, playful and make them enjoy themselves.

From here I will back off slightly and continue to have fun with my friends but keep a report going either with eye contact, laughing if she does something goofy or directing some kind of dance move toward them. What were trying to do here is get her to think your a fun cool guy to be around (probably true) then move away and show that your still having fun without her and that if she would come and dance with you she would enjoy it.

From here shortly after reinitiate (I often do the same move again) but stay with her this time, keep physical contact (I will often keep the hand) and have a close more physical dance with her.

So to summarise,
-don't do the same creepy stuff as the other guys
-initial contact is strong, confident and fun
-pull away and allow her the time to see that you don't need her to have fun and she is missing out
-Reinitiate and have fun, get grabby etc haha.

This doesn't cover pulling at all but opening unless "pull away" from her counts lol. Nonetheless good points for opening. Totally agree the most important point is you have to have 100% belief then you can pretty much open anyway you want on the dance floor.

Hahahaha oh dear I didn't even realise that I missed out the whole thing I was going to write about! In my defence it did take about an hour to write that much on my tiny tiny phone screen.

Good post. Add in Alex's natural method after the opener for the duration of the naight and it makes for good chances. Be there as she leaves the club

TRUE!!! This is the easiest way 100%, you are basically not even picking up chicks, just having fun but still pulling left and right, is awesome.

I usually just dance with my friends and have fun and if I see some fun girl next to us or someone walking buy I just go and say to her some observation or whatever is on my mind at the moment, chat for 10 sec (or even just non verbal like the claw etc.), throw some kino and than just keep having fun away from her, even if is 3 feet away with my friends. Lots of times I end up dancing with lot of chicks, meeting them and making out, I just pulled one 2 weeks ago, didn't even said 1 word.

yup it's legit. i do very similar thing. the biggest lesson is 1) have fun on your own, 2) approach decisevely. basically, the exact opposite to what everybody else does. it's fucking ridiculous. like a complete hacking the system..

- stand out and look your best
- have fun/dance on your own and let the girls notice you first
- approach girls directly or wait for them to come up to you

the best part is that the pattern is consistent

It's great to see that lots of other people are doing a similar thing. How do you all actually make the approach, do you try verbal of just go all put and physical.

I'm asuming this is a standard club with the traditional dancefloor where they play a blend of pop, hip hop, and maybe some electronic stuff as well.  People dance in groups and interact with each other.  Correct?  That's the type of environment I'm more familiar with and that's how the Vegas club scene was several years ago.  Nowadays, in the mega clubs in Vegas, they will feature a big name house music DJ and the dance floor is more like a concert floor where everybody is focused on the stage and the show  rather than interacting with each other.

For anybody reading this thread, I would like to get information on working the more concert oriented dancefloors.  More specifically, there are VIP tables on the perifery of the concert oriented dancefloors and that is where the hottest chicks congregate; I would love any advice on working those areas.

Here's a clip of what I would call a traditional dancefloor:

Here's a clip of the newer concert type dancefloor.

buy the minimum table, just order 1 bottle, split it with your friends and invite girls to your table.

This looks pretty damn good! I'm usually like most people on the floor but this will be a good alternative to try out!

When I first started, I did a lot what you mentioned, go out on the floor have a blast, let the girls take notice, sometimes they come hover, sometimes I'd jump into circles of 6+ girls dancing, be all high value, etc.. Honestly though, night after night, month after month, eventually you get kind of jaded and it's just not as fun. Now I just cut all that crap, go up to the girl, extend my hand, grab her while saying some stupid shit like "You're cute, let's dance", "You need to dance with me", etc. You can get away with the most retarded lines as long as your intent is clear in that you're telling the girl to dance. Or say nothing and knowingly pull her in.  95% of the guys out there creep up from behind trying to grind or worse are all smilely and pretty much asking girls for permission to dance lol.

Opening on the floor and then working her dancing isn't that hard, it's screening and dealing with cockblocks etc. that ends up making the difference between when I've pulled or not.
