I've been going out 4 nights a week for two months straight now and building some good game but I'm so dependent on having a wing with me it's ridiculous. He doesn't even have to be in set, he just has to be in the venue with me so that I can feel a bit of comfort and not being alone. So when I do my solo night, about once a week, I'm completely incapable of approaching. Can you guys who are comfortable going solo explain how you got into it and what your stages were like? Cheers

Stay present and in your body so you don't retreat in your head.  Thats the best advice I could personally give.  And keep talking to people.. about anything, vomit words

Yeah i have tryed it and the solution is to talk to everyone , as if you are used on talking to strangers !!
Bouncer , doorman ( i don't know how  you guys call them is USA ) , bar tenders , people , drunk people , everybody !
Just talk  ..... i personally find it very difficult !

you get over it by doing it more often, there's no epiphany to be had. right now you're reliant on a wing as a social proof and probably at least on a subconscious level perceive that being alone at the club is somehow "wrong" or "weird". you need to desensitize your brain from that line of thinking by more exposure to solo game. i can't remember but going out solo and being incapable of doing any approaches might've been a natural stage of development for me as well. baby steps.

Like Julien said in his last vid... any fame is good fame... and it's ALWAYS possible to reframe...

If you're known as the "loner" for being alone;

...you're the guy strong enough to stand tall with no backup...

...you're stronger than entire groups of males who can't be comfortable...

Hey

Great advice so far. I agree that you should start talking to people immediately, as soon as you leave your place. If you do so, your momentum will build in a positive social direction, and by the time you get to the venue you are already rolling and it's easy to just keep plowing.

If you start off making excuses to not say hi and talk to everyone you can, it is really difficult to turn that around.

I am solo most times and if I don't start out pushing my comfort zone, I usually just get deeper and deeper in my own head, and the night sucks.

MrBoogie, matches my experience as well.

OP, go out solo and don't drink. Find solace in the fact that having nights where you go out of comfort zone and get destroyed means growth is happening.

Hey,

I may have come across wrong.

I agree, no pressure on yourself to approach everyone you see, it would be wierd to change your direction just to say hi to a random stranger. I just mean't it is important to be outgoing and friendly with everybody that crosses your path. Whether it be a "hi" or a smile;)

Instead of the alternative.

i often try to open the first girls i see, try to do a straight line from the dorr to the first girls you see, HEY, and keep talking, after that a straight line to the next set with girls, and just keep doing it, to i find some one you like, if you are in a place with little girls, mix it up with some guys,
standing still and do nothing, is a deaths trap for a newbie, it will put you in your head,

dont think, just walk up, and say hey, and tell them some thing, its your B day, and try to make them sing for you, or give you B day kisses,
or some shit you make up, have fun wih it,
