I use silicon ear plugs that are very mouldable. I hate those foam ones you stick in your ear canal. The silicon ones you kinda mould into a flat shape to cover inside your ear - maybe push it in to the canal a little bit. Very comfortable, and stays put. Only catch is they lose their stickiness after a couple of weeks, so you have to buy a new pair. They aren't as common as the foam ones either. To make sure you get the right ones, try squishing them - If they are hard at all, they suck don't buy them. They should be a little firmer than dough.

Also, brazil nuts a few hours before I go out for peak horniness. Or before bed for solid morning wood

For day sleeping you can pick up an awesome cheap set of thermal or near thermal curtains on Amazon. You just gotta make sure to read the product description and reviews so that they actually block out the sun.

I used to work an 8 PM - 6 AM shift during the summer and I would wake up at like 4 P.M.  in a pool of sweat with the sun just killing my eyes (no A.C. at home). I got me some curtains and end of story - was sleeping like a baby. My room was pitch black at night and still dark during the day!

Wear earplugs in the club if you don't want tinnitus the next day (or to be deaf at age 30) - the volume of clubmusic is hilariously high.

I always cut a piece of the foam ones (32dB) off so that nothing sticks out of the ear and they are not visible at all. Protection-effect is the same. I never understood why not every person uses earplugs in clubs. If you ever had a problem with the insane  noise at the club I suggest you just try it, the effect really is amazing

Plus benefit you'll  talk louder automatically

1- Take cold showers before you go out.

I like to workout and finish all my showers COLD. It raises your testosterone levels and is great way to acclimate to the winter cold (if you live in the North). There's dozens of other side-benefits to cold showers I don't know about.

2- Eat at home.

I never eat out, consequently my diet is PERFECT and I don't spend money on bad food. If I'm in a different city, I'll buy my food before going out and have a meal ready for me when I get back.

3- Keep your debit card at home.

I usually only bring $15-20 out so I'm never tempted to spend money on nonsense like buying girls drinks or spending money on food or other nonsense that is presented during the night.

4- Drive to club.

I bring out my own car to the club. People always complain that they can't find a parking spot, but I'm a champ at this and almost never have a problem finding a spot (even downtown). I also have a car to quickly bounce between neighborhoods or bus my friends. This also saves a shit-ton of money on bullshit cabs. You can always hookup in the car too.

5- Never spend money on drinks.

I'm a complete cheap-ass, but if you go out a shit-ton and like drinking it gets incredibly expensive. You can get over this by bringing your own flask to the club, getting drunk in the alley prior to going inside the venue, convincing random guys to buy you drinks, ask girls what they're drinking and take their drink, "minesweep" drinks in the bar (as people usually leave full beers and leave). This may seem extremely scummy to some, but I never get sick since alcohol sterilzes germs and I've saved thousands of dollars on $7 beers.

great post as always.

Tyler is obviously a fan of in-n-out "protein style".

lettuce has protein? =p

Just curious, is there any benefit to TOTAL pitch black dark vs say...just moonlight / starlight? (not light from the sun)...

Probably not, the problem with sunlight is how it naturally interupts your bodies production of melatonin ( the hormone that your body uses to fall asleep). Moonlight/starlight is a lot weaker and probably not enough to interupt it (but I not tested it, haven't slept in a forest for many years now but I can't remember it ever being harder due to moonlight)

I actually try to use them but my biggest problem is it actually make me TALK LESS LOUD. Not sure why it's the opposite for you? Basically because I perceive everything to be a bit lower, I will also talk less loud than I should. I actually only use the earplugs when I'm in state/drinking because while sober my brain is too self conscious about the environment and I talk less loud without realizing it.

Whats the difference between thermal curtains and normal? I used to block out my window entirely but in my new room it's huge and Ihave 3 big windows. I tried putting normal curtains as close to the window as possible but it does not block enough light, a huge difference from the pitch dark room I used to have.

I would be really intrested in this... A pitch dark room was also really good when I pull a girl because she would sleep more and I had better sleep, nowadays these girls just wake up at 8-9am because they see sunlight and piss me off in the process (too tired to fuck so I'm just grumpy until she leaves)

This is great btw. Thanks Tyler. Got to try that green tea stuff. Sounds a lot healthier than fucking Mio Water enhancer.

A BIG BIG BIG ONE people haven't mentioned is cardio. 3 mile interval runs or playing a sport like soccer or boxing about 4 times a week has done wonders for my energy levels and testerone levels. I'm pretty sure I'm barely average when it comes to fuckin chicks in bed but the only thing that I have going for me is the fact that I have ridiculously high stamina levels.

Also, superior cardio levels allow you to not be absolutely dead when going out every single night. Let's face it - on one of those 20 to 60 minute weekday nights, you're going to eventually end up pulling some girl and next thing you're know you're battling LMR till like 5-6am even though you have to be up in a couple of hours. When necessary it allows you to be skimp out on sleep and be functional the next day.

These are just my insights from going out 100 nights in a row while holding a 9 to 5 - a lot of times I was out till 3 or 4 and had to be up at 9 and was able to function through an 8 hour workday. Although long-term you really shouldn't be skimping out on sleep on the reg (makes you fuckin dumb as shit, memory loss, attention deficit).

If you find yourself getting dragged down just from going out every night for long periods of time I highly suggest you put your trainers on and take your fat ass out for a run.

Also TAKE VITAMINS EVERY DAY.  not a vitamin expert by any means but shit like multivites, fish oil, vitamin c. Lots of cooties out there.

P.S. Buy yourself an ipod Shuffle if you're going to do the running thing -  a 25 to 30 min run can be fuckin boring as hell although if you're looking to do something that will allow you to be present and outside your head then don't buy one and BE Present and focus on your breath as the wind blows into your face.
