 At least you had those things at some point. That should instill belief in you that you can get them back. Just put your head down and work for it. You still have yourself and even if that might not feel much right now, it's really a lot.

Note: Hi "FromtheDepth." I've been there before. Here's a post from another (mental health forum) that I think could be helpful. : )

Since I can remember I've been a fan of "success quotations" Sometimes, in the midst of depression , they gave me hope: Like illuminated sign posts leading me through the night. And, because I’ve been collecting so many of them, I thought I would share the ones which I think are most beneficial. In no particular order, here they are:

1. "Courage is being afraid of something and doing it anyway." - Anonymous
2. "Every adversity, every failure, every heartache carries with it the seed on an equal or greater benefit." - Napoleon Hill
3. "A hero is an ordinary individual who finds strength to persevere and endure in spite of overwhelming obstacles." - Christopher Reeve
4. "If you're going through hell, keep going." - Winston Churchill
5. "Success is to be measured not so much by the position that one has reached in life as by the obstacles which he has overcome." - Booker T. Washington
6. "We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone." - Marianne Williamson quotes
7. "Feel the fear and do it anyway; whatever happens you’ll handle it." - Susan Jeffers

Be Well. : )

What inspires you, op? Think about that. Reflect on that. Don't reflect on what you don't have. Reflect on how you are going to use this as an impetus to follow your dreams.

IF you can keep your head when all about you
Are losing theirs and blaming it on you,
If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you,
But make allowance for their doubting too;
If you can wait and not be tired by waiting,
Or being lied about, don't deal in lies,
Or being hated, don't give way to hating,
And yet don't look too good, nor talk too wise:

If you can dream - and not make dreams your master;
If you can think - and not make thoughts your aim;
If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster
And treat those two impostors just the same;
If you can bear to hear the truth you've spoken
Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools,
Or watch the things you gave your life to, broken,
And stoop and build 'em up with worn-out tools:

If you can make one heap of all your winnings
And risk it on one turn of pitch-and-toss,
And lose, and start again at your beginnings
And never breathe a word about your loss;
If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew
To serve your turn long after they are gone,
And so hold on when there is nothing in you
Except the Will which says to them: 'Hold on!'

If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
' Or walk with Kings - nor lose the common touch,
if neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you,
If all men count with you, but none too much;
If you can fill the unforgiving minute
With sixty seconds' worth of distance run,
Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it,
And - which is more - you'll be a Man, my son!

 I have tried to write a reply to this thread many times now. It is hard. I have been in a similar state myself and it fucking suck.

as tyler said in the video posted earlier here.. Don't compare yourself to others. it sounds like you are sick. You have to acknowledge that and work with it. Only you can do this. Nobody can help you because the problem is inside you. You have to realize that you will die one day and who knows.. maybe there ain't a life after this. Maybe this is all we get. We should try to live it as much as possible. Time will pass wheter or not we choose to make the best out of it. so we might as well just start working on it.

OP, get a fucking hold of yourself little bitch.

We live at the comfiest time in history...literally, life was utter shit even just 100 years ago. No cars, planes, any of that good shit. Yet you sit here like a little fucking bitch. FUCK YOU, YOU'RE LIFE AIN'T BAD AT ALL PUSSY.

What would have happened if you were a fucking Viking pillaging all those motherfuckers and you pulled this shit? Your crew would fucking take turns ramming each of their swords up your ass before they tied you to a boulder and dropped your ass.

Look at history...back then people weren't LITTLE BITCHES BECAUSE LIFE WAS ACTUALLY HARD...LIKE REALLY HARD...LIKE FUCKING SCURVY
AND ANAL BEADS AS TORTURE HARD.

Yet you sit here like a little ass bitch..."oh, my money's gone...oh, my friends are gone....oh, my girlfriend's gone..." BE FUCKING GRATEFUL YOU ARE STILL ALIVE
AND NOT GETTING TORTURED UP THE ASS RIGHT NOW. Be grateful that you AT LEAST HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO GET IT ALL BACK...fuck, even today people live like they did 100 years ago...like 75% of the world. Be glad you werent born into a third world country with NO opportunity.

So what you aren't getting paid, laid, appreciated, whatever the fuck. Grow up and stop being a little bitch. Say "fuck the world" if you have to. Whatever gets you out of your chode little room...prove the fucked up side of your mind wrong. Say aloud "FUCK YOU HEAD. YOU'RE NOT FUCKING UP MY LIFE ANYMORE".

Don't do it in a library tho. That's just awk.

 I think tyler calls that RESISTANCE.
Stop nagging about it, accept it, and take action to get out of it. Put a distance between you and the emotions, accept that you're not happy, and move towards being happy. With every step you take, you'll be getting out of it, stop resisting those feelings and talking about it, making it more hard, snap out of it.

Here's the deal.  When you get tired of the pity-party (we've all been guilty of this from time to time) and you truly want OUT of this situation, then you must TAKE ACTION to get yourself to a new place.

Get a new job quick - a man without an income isn't much of a man, especially in his own mind.  Making a living should be PRIORITY #1.  Don't depend on your parents for a place to stay long-term, and I'm telling you, the longer you stay there the longer you're likely to stay there.  Get money and get out.  Also, most of us work for "cocksuckers" on some level and put up with daily annoying bullshit, so that's no reason to leave a job when you NEED an income.  Deal with it.  MAKE THE DECISION to not only troll Craigslist every single day, but ALSO to make a nuisance of yourself IN-PERSON at ANY place of business where you think you may be interested in working.  Use your pick-up social skills to establish rapport and then MAKE IT KNOWN that you're interested in x,y, or z type of employment at that place of business.  Don't send resumes and expect responses - that's like leaving your number for a bartender and expecting her to call.  She won't, and it's likely none of the potential employers will call you back either.  Hiring is an in-person process, and you need to SPEAK with managers and decision-makers in charge of hiring.  If you cannot get an audience with an owner, find his or her email address (look on Yelp and other review sites where they often post replies to comments) and send a short-to-medium length message in a separate email from your resume (due to spam filters) expressing your skills and desire for employment.  This has worked for me and is actually how I LANDED MY PRESENT JOB.

Everything else will fall in place once you are GAINFULLY employed.  Once stabilized, you can get back to the gym, sarging, hobbies, etc...but before you have a stable job and income remember EVERYTHING ELSE IS SECONDARY!!!!!!!!!!!!  It is exhausting, disheartening, and downright humiliating at times to focus on a job search, especially in this economy, but as in all other pursuits hard work DOES produce results.  So get crackin.

Now go make shit happen.  We're all cheering for you, but it's 100% YOUR RESPONSIBILITY to get it done.

Good luck.
