Alex I will watch your latest video.

But can you explain how your stuff is different from the ilk of Tyler, Brad, Jeffy, Julien etc?

From what I can tell from reading various amount of your articles in the past and present, you have a more genuine tone that I am after, I feel that pick up has messed me up alot, and I need to come back down to earth, and you seem the right man for the job because you have experience with pyschology, I hope I am right.

The only critque of Tyler and Julien I would have they just seem commericialized, markety, just really off putting in that sense.

Well Tyler all I mean is even though I know you are passionate, I can also tell you are a business man and you are pushing for the sale. So sometimes I sense more of a performance for the camera, sometimes I don't.

There is nothing about Alex that suggests to me he is using marketing tactics, he has that down to earth quality, that I believe is hard for Americans and Canadians to pick up, because they are use to a more pushy culture.

Wow that's great improvement Alex. This is the first time I don't zone out in one of your long videos and find myself listening actively and punishing myself whenever I lose focus.
Thanks for the value man!

It's interesting that's what you get from it.

The truth is I'm a student of human psychology and know as much about sales as I do about PUA, but NEVER employ any of that knowledge in my videos.

It's sickening how much money I leave on the table.  I don't add "subscribe" onto my channel, dont add any program advertisements into the content, don't do a "subscription" site with all the videos even though people would RAVE about RSDN as a pay site -- I don't even spend time on SEO and instead just work on improving my content all day.

I'm totally happy with the money I make and do this for "legacy" reasons -- I want to leave an amazing legacy before I die.  So regardless of how the videos may have come across to you, which is your perspective and that's all good, you're fully wrong.

It's like if I had a fat chick in my house who thinks I'm trying to fuck her, and it's like "Uhhh I really just brought you here to have a good time you lil fattie, TO BE NICE!  If I wanted to fuck you, there's way hotter girls I could fuck (translation: high end clients) and i definitely have a LOT more game to make it happen than bring you here and make small talk!"

:)

Arrogant sounding, but yet true. ;)

If you hate the vids, wait till you see the articles.

Jesus fucking Christ man.

Fully prepared for the inevitable wave of RSD fanboys hating me for saying this, but I cant really listen very long to his stuff its just boring, some of his vids are epic especially the shorter ones when he cuts the shit and gets straight to the point, but on a lot of them he just mumbles on for ages and it all becomes a grey goo of sound...

What annoys me is that there is so much value in there but its always buried in 10 tons of verbal crap.

Alex I for one respect everything you've given us too much over the years to let this go unnoticed, fix this because you videos are too long and your public speaking is just not on the same level as your contemporaries, the value gets lost in the grey soup.

Much love, You are better than this.

How I see it: RSD attracts people of different levels of intelligence and consciousness. Eventually this place spreads to people who would normally not be aware of RSD. So they sniff around and find it. With some exposure, they realize that RSD is not on par with their (very marginal) level of consciousness and thus misinterpret it.

Amirite or amiritee?

(Translation: dumb-ass motherfuckers are blessed to have exposure to this place because if this place wasn't getting spread around, the only people you'd be hearing on here would be people who fully understand what this place is about.)

The one hour video on meditation is purely for sales!

In reality, putting out the best content you know really is the best sales pitch, because if it's great stuff and it changes people's lives, they'll come back to it. It doesn't mean it's great marketing, it's real value. And that gets you repeat clients, customers, word of mouth.

That's the real best marketing. No marketing. Quality shit.

Thanks!

Reality check though -- good content is ONE part of good marketing.

The other good parts are SEO (we don't do), doing some of the SHIT TON of press that gets offered to us (we don't do), doing a PROPER Free Tour that explains the game to the 80% BEGINNER audience (we don't do -- instead we do weird esoteric rants for the core fans), add a "subscribe" button on my Youtube videos (we don't do), create proper infomercials for the Bootcamp instead of working on the next video blog (we don't do), have me stop teaching 3 on 1 Bootcamps and use that time to grow the company (we don't do), have me stop going out 7 nights a week and use that time to build the company (we don't do).

Of course it would also be great if we ran 6 to 12 student BC's which is the industry standard (we also don't do), instead of 3 on 1.  And charge a few thousand for a several day version of a Hot Seat to the top 1% wealthiest of our list so that we don't have to travel and travel to teach these to make less money overall (we don't do).

Etc etc and etc.

Obviously good content is important as well, but the fact we focus on it this much should make it clear why we do what we do.
