A lot of kj and theory in this thread. If you've never been young and asked your age by an older woman, not sure how you could answer this question with any real authority. all this just own it, be yourself, change the subject stuff might sound nice in theory but the reality is a lot of girls will literally walk away after you tell them you're 22. Happened to myself numberous times and I've seen it happen right in front of me to wings. Some things I won't lie about but something that will literally correct itself with time is trivial and stupid so I have no problem lying about it.

I agree, it's not a shittest. It's more like a prerequisite. Kinda like if you ask a girl if she has std's. It's not a shittest cuz you're not testing her frame but if she answers incorrectly you won't fuck her in any case. Lie. Age is one of the few instant dealbreakers. If a girl asks you chances are she thinks you're too old or too young. Lie whichever way you think she's leaning towards. Girls never just ask out of curiosity. I guess if you're really awesome you can skirt the issue but seeing as how it appears to be a recurring issue for you, just take the simple route and lie. After you fuck her she won't care. It's one of those things a girl think she cares about but doesn't really give a shit.

Age is one of those few things that can just rape you no matter what. You go in hard, she can tell your boss, she's attracted, then she finds out she's 8 years older than you: DONE. Not all the time -- there are plenty of girls who are cool with it, but I've been instantly destroyed by the age thing many times. This is basically the only thing I ever lie about. Just not worth blowing a solid interaction with something as stupid as age.
