 I need to lose 30-40 pounds and cut daily weed use down to 1 day a week. I have tried to break these 2 habits in multiple ways and do good for 3-4 days and then spiral back even harder. I have a strong will, and know I can do it. Just some strageties would be helpful how I can conquor this. Like charting, journaling, should i do eft? I wanna go on a veggie, and fruit juice fast for the next 30 days to clean the system a little bit, of toxins, and pesticides, ect, and limit smoking weed to one day a week.

I found It very difficult for me to cut weed. The moment I induldge on my "allowed day" the urge to use just increases and lead to another round of difficult quitting. The cold hard reality is once you are an addict on any given substance, you pretty much always are. I define addict as using a substance to the point that you neglect, change or cease parts of your life around that substance, usually (but not always) in conjunction with excessive and frequent use. This isn't a judgment, smoke if you want, but realize if you fall into this category than "casual use" will require intense discipline and may be near impossible to overcome the impulses without going cold turkey.

Regardless of the above, the main flaw i see in your plan is you are trying to perform a grand change in many different areas of your life all at once. This is not how behavior modification optimally works. Pick one goal, and try for that. Such as cuting out all meat, then do that for 30 days. Go with exercise next.  Once you have that down, go for the fruit juice fast for however the healthy recommended time is. Then go for the weed. or in some other order. Just do one at a time. If you really want to more than one at a time, such as healthy eating and exercise, pick one and just do the other as you feel like it, knowing you will get to it in the future.

When you lump them all together you are changing to many habits at once, greatly increasing the difficulty. This also has the effect that when you lapse on one goal you are likely to lapse on the whole group because you have lumped them into a single goal. Instead keep your goals in behavior modification distinguished by doing one at time.

Cut out all grain, soda,  and junk food. Then hit the gym religiously x5 per week for 45 min. Done. Lost 65 lbs on this advice in 5 months, kept it off for 6 years. Now at 11% body fat.

 Well congrats. I have made many attempts like that but feel like i'm addicted to food. Anyone know if EFT would help kickstart a diet or is it all bullshit?

Ive lost 24 pounds in 2.5 months now and its the easiest diet ive ever been on. Ive got 26 more pounds to go before I start hitting the gym to add muscle. Dl myfitnesspal on your phone and fill in your goals. It will tell you how many calories you can eat a day. Put in everything you eat. Then learn which of your foods that you actually like are low in calories. Eat only those foods and you will avoid cravings, not feel hungry, and lose weight. A typical day for me is 2 Taco Bell egg and bacon burritos (466 calories), a subway 6 inch (about 350 cals) and bbq baked lays (140 cals), and then a #1 meal at el pollo loco (700 cals). I drink water mostly but also drink cherry coke zero. Do not mix goals of trying to add muscle and lose weight. Ive read many times these two goals dont mix well and have experienced it too. Be prepared for your weight to fluctuate on a daily basis for no reason at all. Dont get discouraged by it, last week i hit 226 and then the next day i was 229 even though i only had 1500 calories the day before, wtf right? So what. As long as my weight keeps heading south i am cool with the fluctations. I cant say for sure if this helps either, but I fixate on each pound. Having just hit 226 all I can now think of is 225. I think about it several times a day. When I do my cardio all I think is I got to get to 225. Once Im there then 224 will become my obsession. I lose about a 1 to 1.5 pounds a week. It seems slow, but having never had any success ever in my life with all the other diets and exercise plans ive tried, i can say without a doubt that this is the best, easiest, and most effective ive been on. The best part too is i can eat anything i really want too. My favorite thing is an albertos carne asada burrito with beans and cheese. I figure its about 1000 calories. So once a week i eat two eggs and a piece of wheat toast for breakfast (240), a chicken veggie mini bowl for lunch (430) and then my burrito for dinner (1000). So I fulfill my cravings, I dont starve, and I get results. By december ill be 200. By March Ill be 220 with muscle.

try anabolic diet with much cardio and heavy weight training.


maybe steroids are a possibility for you?... if so... try little testosterone. 250mg e7d.

It will help to keep the muscles and shed the fat.

Find a reason to do it. It must be very strong goal that you have, that will pull you towards it for the 25-30 days that is needed to establish new habbits. Keep reminding yourself of this goal every day.
If doesn't work. Focus on changing only 1 habit untill you get it.

Never had a problem with weed and weight loss, you just have to understand how to reprioritize your life, and weed, while relaxing, is not a goal, it's what you do when you've completed your tasks. Weed becomes a nonissue when it's use is treated like drinking alcohol...

Start your day sober. As soon as you take that first hit you're not going to have the energy you want all day. 

Eat regular meals. I know you're going to feel weird eating if you're not high, after the first 3 days this will pass.

Be physically active. This doesn't even necessarily mean workout, just get up and move around and go for walks, I get most of my exercise wandering around on my own 2 feet.

As long as you don't drink alcohol on top of this it doesn't take much to get down to a reasonable weight. I'm not ripped, but I haven't been focused on that.

mannnn you wanna do too many things at once. Stop smoking weed, lose weight, fix your diet, go on a juice cleanse, stop being a lazy fuck. It will not happen. Focus on one thing for a week. Once you are semi-comfortable without weed for instance, then try to lay off the twinkies, then start working out and fuckin kill it every time you do. No pussy work outs. And fuck that juice fag diet just eat like a man and work out hard.

Fruit juice is high calories! Try find vegetable juice that you like (tomatoe is obvious but there are also mixtures with tomatoe and other vegetables).
