It's pitiful how small of an advantage being a model affords you.

At the same time, they get laid a lot.... was just wondering if anyone is a male model or knows someone and how their interactions with women go.

I am a fairly good looking guy. A few friends notice girls approach or offer approach invitations. Model? No. One natural Friend models. Tall ripped Italian looking man. His English is poor but he looks good. Loads of invitation. Envy is an under statement. I am again reminded he doesn't get them all. He says we are men and its what we do.

I am a pretty looking guy , people have told me I have the potential to a model and expect me to be good with women, but have always been insecure/chode so women have mostly ignored me. I have been through a lot of adversity which has hardened me to become extremely alpha. If u are alpha and good looking that is a deadly combination.

My wing opens sets for to me. Does this aggregate you?

I have noticed when I have met wings especially hard core forum guys, they tend to get very angry of my approach invitations, and girls approaching me. It seems strange since, I would just as easily introduce them to the girls any way, and hopefully, we pull. Another friend is the same way and again, it goes back to finding a good wing who is dedicated is definitely hard to come by.

This is a disturbing thread. Please delete everything that does not confirm my stereotype that male models get approached 12X a night by 9's and 10's and get laid effortlessly. Thank you in advance.

They do. You seem quite irate about this. Cool people get laid for the record and yes, chodes and white knights sometimes too. The thing is that, if you are chode, you lower your chances of success. Its funny how many look threads come up. I think people should not worry so much about that shit or worry about micro managing everything from her feelings or opinions of you.

There is some rsdnation male model I remember from a long time ago around my start date. It came up in a picture thread about the best looking person on the site. He was revealed as a male model and some sort of tv appearance he made, people laughed at when he got slapped on a dating skit or something.

Wow. Thanks for the responses. Did not expect we had that many male models on this forum, which is great - this means game is reaching a point where any guy with the motivation and effort can learn it.

My roommate right now looks like a male model, and when we go out, I'm the only one approaching and I get better results than him, which is a great revelation for me.

At the same time, I have always realized, at the core that yes looks do matter. All this "looks dont matter" stuff is marketing lingo.

I am 6'2, tall, good looking Asian guy, but not model status here in the US. Back home I do get approach invitations (Asian girls are more shy) I notice that good looking tall white dudes here do get approach invites and just seems to have some girls "choose them" at a much faster / easier rate.

The range of responses from guys who claim to be "model" look status is interesting. I believe that your looks is like height in basketball - if you have the other skills down - dribbling, passing, shooting, your height is an exponential force multiplier. Similary, a good looking guy with sick same just elevates it to another totally new level. For you anime fans, remember Gundam 00?

00 had 2 solar reactors instead of one, and its power was exponential. In other words if 1 solar reactor = 10 energy, 2 solar reactors meant 10x10 = 100, 10x the output. Simiarly, if you have 1x0 the effect is 0. A shy, good looking guy who stands by the corner doesn't get shit - I have seen this first hand with my Jacob Twilight look-alike roomie.

One guy mentioned "you don't know what it is like to be an ugly guy" and I sympathize. I had friend who once said, "you don't know how lucky you are to be tall..." You see, my dad was a diplomat, and I lived in many countries before. Therefore the social constraints I experienced can differe drastically moving from one continent to another.

When I came to the states at 16 for college I did realize some racial stereotypes and the social forces behind that are stronger here than other places. So to me, for a white guy to say, "your race doesnt matter in game" is hard to me to believe. I can tell you, via personal experience, that is does alter one dimension of your game.

I think the important thing is to realize and take looks for what it is - important, but no more. A lot of mental exaggeration takes place and it spirals out of control. But to criticize someone for wanting to improve their look, in pursue of better game, I think is hypocritical. Of course your looks count - you should do whatever you can (within reason and safety) to achieve your goals.

How often is your male model (looking) friend approached by women in any given night?

I went out with him 3 times,

2 of those times, 1 girl approached im and asked him some dumb questions.

The last time we went out, he choded out and wasn't comfortable so he hang out, out back with the guys and just walked briefly around. Nothing happened there.

So, 2 approaches out of 3 outings.

Let's put this in perspective: Forbes Magazine lists Gisele Bundchen as the highest paid female model working today - she made $45 million last year, just by being good looking. Seeing as she's real purdy she also gets to be a UN Ambassador and gets the occasional role in Hollywood movies and features on talk shows. She is the 16th richest woman in entertainment and is on course to become a billionairess- just by being really good looking.

Guess who her male counterpart is? For that matter, can you even name ONE male model?

Again from Forbes, his name is Taylor Fuchs, and he made $500,000 last year modelling for D&G, Pringle, Fendi, YSL.... The guy is no slouch.

So, all other things being equal, the value derived from a good looking man's looks is worth 1.111% of a hot woman's.
