Last February I went to California with my girlfriend (we're from Brazil), and we travelled all the way from San Diego to San Francisco in one month (28 days). It's a good experience that you'll never forget.

@Snowdog: yes I know I'm not being very realistic with my plan, I'll have to drop some destinations and add others in-between. Mabe I'll add Pensacola, thanks for the idea! I'll be travelling by night as much as possible. I'm going by bus

I tried to contact the Montreal lair without success. If anybody has contacts in Montreal or Toronto, that would be sweet!
I'll be staying at the Hostelling International hostel, but I'll try couch surfing next. The hostel is very close to the nightlife scene but I won't be able to bring girls there for sure. I'll have to be creative. I don't know how long I'll stay there, I think 3 days.

Good timing for New Orleans. The French Film Festival runs from Aug 10-14 and the 11th is Dirty Linen Night on Royal St. If you don't get laid on dirty linen night, you're not trying.

Yes, I've already took a bus and I already been in a greyhound, why? I went to Boston from NYC, they're very good compared to other places I travelled to (Tanzania, Brazil for instance).

If you really gotta pick one, go for Pensacola. It's fuckin' beautiful out here, man. Tons of great bars in the beach area and a buch of really cool spots down town. It's easy to spend a week here and just party and chill out. Lots of fantastic live music everywhere, too. Totally worth it to check out. It has a really cool, friendly Southern vibe goin' on. I wish I could move here permanently, seriously.
