This is a book that came out a few weeks ago by Dan Ariely "The Honest Truth About Dishonesty: How We Lie to Everyone---Especially Ourselves"
Its really good and gives interesting perspectives backed up by findings on why we lie to ourselves, Its also told in a funny, lighthearted way. I dont think its a typical "self help" book, its not preachy or spoonfeeding you solutions but I think its a worthy addition to anyone who is interested in this stuff, it covers areas from relationships to crime.
I will post a review on some of the ideas in the book but wanted to give everyone a heads up first.
