Why do we do this?

This may seem like an obvious question to answer but I think once you proved to yourself a certain level of knowledge or competence about meeting and seducing women, why do we continue to do it then?

I think there is a strong reason why guys who are insecure with women do it, or guys who haven't had a level of success, but for those of us who feel like we achieved that status or competence, why do we continue to do it? It is because of gaining a certain volume? Or purely sex? What?

it's fun to go out and meet new people
you only live once
gain confidence and find yourself
one day get a wife that you love and raise a family
