Maybe it's because i'm a newbie but how do you do 100 approaches and not get any pulls? I mean what's your goal here are you just practicing your game or are you legitimately trying to pull the girl but failing 100 times?

Not sure if you understood my question. I've been out one time for twelve hours straight just doing approaches. Didn't add up to 100 though. I'd think the day would go like this,
Wake up at 5 or six in the morning, go to fast dood restaurants where there are girls, game them, then move on to another place like starbucks. Game the girls there. Even the cashier. Go to malls and do the same shit. Stop by the gym open sets and leave. Go out for some more daygame. Appraching girls that might be walking by in between switching venues. By the time the sun goes down, go to a club, rave or concert. Open EVERYTHING. When they're no girls left to game, switch venues again. Then find an after party to go to.
To answer your question I'd have to say both. The person I mentioned in the OP was not about me, but about someone described in a book. My comfort zone is daygame and gym so I tend to game there as I believe I have better chances of getting laid that way.

Seriously though, i gotta say out of the people I know, top approacher award goes to either Tyler (aka ROBOCOP) or evil stifler. These cats both bang the guns hard as fuck all the time. This means they get "rejected" more than anyone but also LAID more than most anyone as well. THINK ABOUT IT

Never understood this whole "go out and do 50 approaches!" mentality.
Even when I was really crappy, I would at least hook a set and spend 1+ hours with a girl by the 9th or 10th approach, but usually the 3rd or 4th.
Why would I aim to get in a lot of approaches? If I'm doing that many approaches in one night it means something's wrong because the girls aren't hooking.
Even for a newbie mentality I think it's bad because you sort of go in with the assumption that you're gonna get blown out A LOT. And you know what, you might, but I think the "cram in more approaches!" mentality causes guys to bail out and lose confidence in a set too fast, so they just go do another one.

No thats actually a good question. I mean imagine going out and talking to women with the intent of getting a day 2 or a lay and then doing this with 100 different women in a day. Don't know about anyone else out here but I would be overbooked with day 2s after those 100 approaches. Now if you are just trying to learn social skills that is different I suppose.

Tyler probably approached 100 girls LAST NIGHT. He almost fucked one in the bathroom, then fucked basically the hottest chick in the club after debrief. He doesn't do day 2s.

Honestly I don't even bother contacting a girl if I don't fuck her the same night. My logistics are ridiculous, so if it doesn't go down that night it's unlikely to go down on a day2. 
I dunno I don't think it seems like Evil Stifler ever gets "rejected" I remember once even he said "I don't have the balls to get rejected" or something like that, obviously half-joking, but I think he was saying it half seriously like he knows there's no NEED for it...like he goes in but he just seems to konw when to do what at the right times and when his escalation is working and when its not. He doesn't do shit (from what I seen) that gets him yelled at FUCK OFF WEIRD GUY BLAH BLAH BLAH. Whereas those of us who started when we were more like 22 rather than 12 years old sometimes just have to "do it not so smooth" and do it regardless.
I guess this is why you put "rejected" in quotes, but I do see a difference in the kinds of "rejections" Tyler or I could get versus evil stifler because of differences in level of aggressiveness and shit. I think its the difference in Brad's description of the Gorilla vs the Wolf, Evil Stifler == the Gorilla, he knows how to explicitly use the rules of social conditioning to his advantage while Tyler or I IMO break those rules and hence can get actual "blowouts" if that makes sense.

I think I read somewhere that there was a guy from The Game that did over 100 approaches in a single day. I think that's fucken amazing. Not sure if the stories in that book are completely true though.
What's the most amount of approaches you've done or have heard of people doing?
