THE FORUMS
Is anyone else doing this gym routine? Or am I the only one who got trolled? xD
Well I am now in my second week of following the gym routine quite religiously. I printed everything with drawings and so on. Well, even the non-gym part like taking a nap while sunbathing was easy for me since I already a place in the terrace for doing that in summer.
I only need 30 minutes (at most) to do everything. Both the gym's assistant and me are kind of suspicious so far, it seems to me it that this routine is very easy and short.
I also go out running like 8 or 9 kms, around 5 times a week (almost every day), and that is what I like and where I burn my calories. I was never a big friend of the gym since it is kind of boring but I thought why not? I could give a try.
Anyway if anyone else is following the rountine and would like to comment...?

Sounds like you must be doing it wrong.
Lay off the cardio, it's no good for guys.

Not a fan of vanity training. I guess most guys train to "look good in a v-neck" which is understandable, but from an athletic standpoint, these complex training regimens are a complete waste of time. What's the value of doing "Standing EZ Bar Curls", if you can't jump higher than me to rebound? What's the value of doing all this shit to look tougher when a simple joint manipulating will dislocate your shoulder, or break your spine? This is really bad advice.
If you're lifting for athletic strength (not vanity) you should only really do 3 lifts: deadlift, overhead press, squat. The things that all 3 of these lifts train is BALANCE. They also give you the highest muscle gain to energy invested.
Swimming is really important in conjunction with heavy strength training. Swimming works the small muslces and joints you can't work out with weights and it prevents injuries. Doing all these complex lifts without warming your muscles is a certain way to get injured.

i was thinking how lifting and pull heavy shit is probably what humans have had to do for thousands of years except in modern society (couple hundred) we invented cars / fastfood / office jobs.. lol
going to the gym is just more inline with nature... RSD fixes your mentality, weightlifting fixes you physically :D
