Since I went to college, I probably have a better shot than a guy with just a high school diploma. in today's economy, a 4 year degree is just like a high school diploma. So it's almost mandatory to have a 4 year degree nowadays to get into the job market.
Of course, there are ways around it

3. learn internet marketing
4. start your own business

Degree have there place though. I think the best lesson is to learn something valuable that people need. Business owners dont want degrees, they want results. Be wary of any internet marketer selling you a "system" they are mostly all full of shit, including dude up top. I'd also be wary of a website with a decent alexa ranking, hes around 42k, but has 0/10 google PR. Plus the design is shit for modern web standards. Most guys have never made money outside of the "make money online" niche. It's a fucking pyramid scheme. Guys who never had any or much success making money online decide to make a "make money online" product that's garbage, teaching other guys how to make money online who invariably fail and end up making a "make money online" product themselves... It's the same thing as 18-19 year old guys giving pick up advice or even teaching bootcamps / offering products who've slept with 3 girls - total fucking posers. SEO guys are fucking full of shit, yeah you can rank a local yoga business in a 25,000 person town, good fucking job. Try getting to #1 or even the first page for a keyword like "learn spanish", lol, maybe if you have 12-24-36 months and a lot of liquid cash...If a SEO guy could actually SEO major keywords they wouldn't be offering "SEO consultation" and would be rich as fuck. SEO consultation is for minor niches with little competition and small local businesses in small-med cities...
Best advice for IM:

On the flip side, I made 25g+ last month selling a online business I started and signed a very large corporate marketing contract, so I also make money ..well...doing what I do...lol. The fact that many people have found success with stuff I have taught (including one of my best friends) makes me feel pretty danm good too =D. The jobs you mention earlier are all only one step above the average wage slave. Despite it having turned into a ridiculous joke of itself, and a bastion of feminazis and liberal nutjobs, I do believe higher education is a must, though I say so regrettably. That said, the ultimate goal for many people, especially in our age of digital opportunity, isn't a "good job," but FREEDOM. And this means something that will create steady, ideally passive, income. Something where you don't have to depend on hand-outs from anyone. The "good job" route you mention is, for me, the way to a life of quiet desperation. You work your ass off to impress some boss you despise as a human being and cross your fingers that Christmas bonus will come. "National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation" is what I think of when I hear people say you should get a "good job."
If you want to sell your time for money, that's fine. But most have come to realize that freedom is, indeed, a reality within our grasp, even if they don't quite know how to go about getting it.

It has no PR as I mentioned but it does have a pretty damn good Alexa ranking (better than thelinkback, which does have a PR but about 2x lower alexa ranking), which is interesting - so I'm thinking emails...
What I'm wondering is, have you been succesful OUTSIDE of the "make money" niche? In other words, have you either made or promoted a product or ran a blog (not in the money niche) with an ad server and made 10k+ in a month BEFORE thelinkback / wavesource / other make money niche site?
If you have (and can prove it with a URL) then I'll stfu and declare you king all mighty. And if you don't want to do that (although I know no reason why you wouldn't share the URL's I requested) at least tells us the niche in which you made this alleged 10k+, or the 30k as in your sig and how (own product, adsense, affiliate commission, etc).

I made the site eventually become worth a ton with the content and SEO traffic (type in "how to fuck a girl" in google and watch the first youtube vid) I later sold the site for a 5 figure sum.
After that, found a system to rank websites first page in about a week in Google. I showed this off a little bit on LB, on sites like Turkey burgers. However, turkey burgers (now dead) was a demo site I made to show people. I mostly found abstract niches (adult, health related, and foreign), then grabbed all the keywords and made large authority sites. I kept a few and sold most of them.
I then also started a local SEO company. I sell SEO services to local businesses. The company was named surge wolf (http://surgewolf.com/). In about 3 months time, my average montly earning were about 4-6 k per month depending on clients leaving and coming
As for the 30,000 in one month, that is myself and alex cass combine. It is actually past 40, but 40k a month does not sound believable in a ad. The 30s came from my income+me selling one of my large sites for 8k+and Cass's monthly income during + a product launch. It was a good month
So in short, before the LB I was making about 3-4k a month. from IM, Before Source Wave I was making about 5-6.
Right now, without make money online stuff, I will make about 9k a month from websites and doing local SEO/marketing.(and some PPC) If I sell a business then that of course goes WAY up.........Also would like to state that my income is not passive AT ALL. I work my ass off regardless if I am making money or not.
Source Wave stuff really only bring me about 2k a month on a good month. You have to remember, I am not launching $2k master mind courses every other month and making $80 CB products. Most of the info I share you can get for 10 bucks or for free on my site. On top of that MOST of it has a 100% commission affiliate program. I make products to grow my blog...not make money =D

But step back from that point of view and look at the niche it self. It is EXTREMELY competive, expensive to get into requires some bad ass marketing skills (building affiliates, creating loyalty, copywriting, product creation) to even get into. Trust me I have the same view on most WSOs and make money online courses, but the skill set that it takes to launch products in the IM niche is the SAME skill set it takes to make products in any niche. Just keep that in mind =D
I am actually taking my product creation skills into some other niches right now. I will let you know how that works out..lol

I appreciate your honesty and forthcomingness - a trait I find a lot of IMers lack, or anyone in the make money niche - especially from a lot of supposed "entrepreneurs" who've given talks at my uni but refuse to straight forwardly answer my questions in regards to their actual success and hwo much $ they make.
I'm sure you, like myself, have a strong skeptical sense of a lot of what's out there - unfortunately I misjudged you in this thread and as well as in others and apologize for any antagonizing towards you in the past. People offering success advice on things they have no success in gets me a bit vitriolic, of course in your case it was misdirected - and you are succesful so that's good to hear.

After that, found a system to rank websites first page in about a week in Google. I showed this off a little bit on LB, on sites like Turkey burgers. However, turkey burgers (now dead) was a demo site I made to show people. I mostly found abstract niches (adult, health related, and foreign), then grabbed all the keywords and made large authority sites. I kept a few and sold most of them.
I then also started a local SEO company. I sell SEO services to local businesses. The company was named surge wolf (http://surgewolf.com/). In about 3 months time, my average montly earning were about 4-6 k per month depending on clients leaving and coming
As for the 30,000 in one month, that is myself and alex cass combine. It is actually past 40, but 40k a month does not sound believable in a ad. The 30s came from my income+me selling one of my large sites for 8k+and Cass's monthly income during + a product launch. It was a good month
So in short, before the LB I was making about 3-4k a month. from IM, Before Source Wave I was making about 5-6.
Right now, without make money online stuff, I will make about 9k a month from websites and doing local SEO/marketing.(and some PPC) If I sell a business then that of course goes WAY up.........Also would like to state that my income is not passive AT ALL. I work my ass off regardless if I am making money or not.
Source Wave stuff really only bring me about 2k a month on a good month. You have to remember, I am not launching $2k master mind courses every other month and making $80 CB products. Most of the info I share you can get for 10 bucks or for free on my site. On top of that MOST of it has a 100% commission affiliate program. I make products to grow my blog...not make money =D
I hope that clears all questions of my income up, and that you will be a tad nicer to me =D. If you REALLY need proof, here is a picture of my paypal after I sold a busines+ me beating MAJOR authority sites in google (#2 for a very interesting keyword related to yeast infections) + a screenshot of my one month earnings from a authority site I own.

Yes I am well aware that making money in "make money online niche" is considered not real IM/sketchy as hell.
But step back from that point of view and look at the niche it self. It is EXTREMELY competive, expensive to get into requires some bad ass marketing skills (building affiliates, creating loyalty, copywriting, product creation) to even get into. Trust me I have the same view on most WSOs and make money online courses, but the skill set that it takes to launch products in the IM niche is the SAME skill set it takes to make products in any niche. Just keep that in mind =D
I am actually taking my product creation skills into some other niches right now. I will let you know how that works out..lol
