DAY 1

The last time I was in Texas was 15 years ago when I was 4 years old. I could not believe I was about to go into bootcamp. I hadn't gone out, spoken to a stranger or a girl since IV which was 4 months ago... Now I was going to have to cold approach for 3 nights in a city knowing absolutely no one. It was a fucking weird feeling.

I check into my hotel and wrote myself the letter to my chode self. I didn't get rid of it because I want to read it later on.

Walked over to the Hotel and I was sitting there on time expecting to see the other student. Nervous ass hell in disbelief 15 minutes passed by. I get up and walk outside and back in then one of Nathan's assistant Rustam greeted me. He happen to be holding a Weight Lifting book for Nathan which I find really funny because earlier that day I was teaching one of my class mates how to Clean & Jerk.

We walked over to a table and I met the other assistant Jeff. We waited a while for Nathan because a very unfortunate event had happen. I was hungry as hell so we went to find something to eat. Rustam showed me 6th street and I got a slice of pizza.

Got back to the hotel and wait a bit longer. Then Nathan is here. We do some introductions. Nathan goes into his story. I told my background story. It was really cool to hear Nathan has been to IV a couple years back hahaha I told him I saw an infield video of a 18+ bootcamp on youtube and it made me want to go. Funny enough one of the students I heard say "she said I smell" during the video was Rustam.

Talk some more about what I want out of bootcamp. I wanted to not rely on alcohol, make pickup fun and have fun going out.

Nathan lets me know that I am the only student on program which I didn't expect at all. He tells me what the night was going to be like and added that if he said "Right Here, Right Now" I better go do what he says. I nervously thought to myself that tonight is gonna be pretty intense. Also lets me know that the club we're going to will be the club shown in the infield video.

It's still early so we wait around for a while. Then the assistants and I head over to the club. On the way there, I still couldn't believe I was on bootcamp and in a few minutes I would have to do an approach on a complete stranger stone cold sober. This will be the first nightclub/bar/rodeo I've ever been too.

Walk through the doors, nervous, in shock, scared and overwhelmed by the environment. I see most people in faded jeans, dancing in lines, cowboy boots and hats like what the fuck is going on man... I see the Texans dancing to country music which I've only seen shit like this in the movies. I'm from California so I don't see things like this often. 

Sidenote: This night had some of the HOTTEST chicks I have ever seen in my life so far. There were a lot of them too. Props to Texas for having some hot ass chicks.

While all of this going through my head, Rustam tells me to do an approach. Chickened out for a bit and he pointed to a group of girls and gave me something to say. I walk with my heart pounding and say "Hi, My name is Jesse. I had to come meet you guys." I don't think you can get more simple than that haha.

Group lights the fuck up and introduces me to the entire group which are all Brazilians that go to UT. I take a picture with the girls and talk a bit. Not much to say anymore so I talk to the guys in the group. Just talking shit and he shows me around. After a while, I bail because I'm on bootcamp.

Nathan and another assistant are here. I meet Matt which was the guy I saw in the infield video. We start talking and he gives me some tips like be social because everyone is just getting in. He points to a blonde sitting down by herself and tells me to open. I pussy out and he goes over and opens her. This really showed me how easy meeting chicks can be.

Meet Nathan and all the assistants outside. Meet two girls who are Matt's roommates. I didn't say much. Nathan asks whats going on in my head. I'm telling him that I feel uptight and he tells me to jump up and down. I feel a lot better. He gives me some tips. Nathan then tells me to go open a chick asking her to teach me how to dougie... hahaha

I walk around a lot and chicken out. Then finally I see a girl walking by me and I pretty much scared this girl asked if she could teach me how to dougie. She gives me a weird look and says she has to go to the bathroom. First "blow out" I felt down for a bit, but then realized "hey, I didn't die." it wasn't all that bad.

Came back to the guys and we walk around for a bit. Rustam tells me to open this girl walking by and told me to ask why her shirt says Tyler's. I do it and she opens the fuck up. She tells me why, find out she is from Sweden, ask if she knows how to dougie and she doesn't so I say let's go to the dance floor I'll show you. Seeing all the videos from RSD I automatically grab her hand and lead her to the dance floor. Thank god the dance floor wasn't doing the line dancing thing so I show her how to dougie, but really I have no idea. She starts getting close, but I move away for some reason. I remember that her mouth smelt like shit so maybe that's why. Rustam was filming me then says something in my ear. I told the swedish chick I had to leave, but I'll find her later.

Right after the swedish chick, I see this extreme hottie sitting all by herself. Without thinking. I say in her ear "you look gorgeous tonight" and I walked away. At the corner of my eye see she lights the fuck up and said "thanks" in an enthusiastic inviting way. Later on the night I find out she is one of the girls in the bikini contest. GOD DAMN was she a hot one.

Rustam asks me why I am back and now I'm confused as fuck. "I thought you told me to LEAVE." "No! I said LEAD." oops hahaha

I walk around for a bit and see a drop dead gorgous chick sitting by herself texting. I hesitant a bit, turn back around and go approach her. Didn't go so well haha I was leaning in a lot. I felt nervous because I saw people beside her giving looks like WTF is going on. Asked her interview questions, being boring and fucking stumbled my words... Well that sucked, but I didn't die.

I meet up with everyone again. Nathan tells me somethings like don't lean in, SMILE, what to open with. Something so simple can be so important. He shows me some things to change up my approach to be slightly threatening but still friendly. He did it on me and I busted out laughing like I couldn't help it. You feel the tension but with the friendly smirk you just laugh. Also shows me how to smoothly hold the girl's hands . Rustam says lets open these two. We both go in tap them and they say "we're talking" Alright and we walked away.

I walked into Matt's two roommates and start joking around. I ask if she can teach me how to dougie, she doesn't know how, but instead teaches me how to salsa haha we're all laughing having a good time. Tall one was vibing me but I'm not into it.

I opened some more people, but I don't remember what happened. Not because I was drinking, but because I was breaking society's rules embedded into my brain. I am sober and thirsty as fuck at this point.

Meet up back with Nathan and he tells me to get a break and enjoy the show. I'm thinking 'what show is he talking about?' lights dim down, spotlight is on 10 chicks walking in bikinis to the dance floor.

Once that's over, meet up with Nathan, I'm completely out of it and see him talking to this girl. It was really interesting to see cuz all I hear Nathan say is "BREW SPRINGER!" the girl's eyes were glued onto him like he's some kind of celebrity. She bails then he tells me to open this chick walking by. At the last minute I tap, but I just assumed she wasn't going to notice. I already turned around and Nathan told me she turned around.

We wait for another then he points to a cutie with a GOD DAMN tall friend. I go in and say " Hi I saw you and I just had to meet you." She lights up, but I put my attention on to the friend and said she was really tall. She got sad and they look at each other. Tall one frowns, cutie smiled but in like a sincere way. No much to say so I leave.

Let Nathan know what happened and he tells me to focus my attention on the girl I want.

Saw the back of the head of a blonde so I was like "nice a blonde sitting by herself" I introduce myself she turns around and sweet baby jesus her face was ehhhh... Just talk for the hell of it. She was like retarded and didn't have anything to say so I left.

Walked by a very cute latina and introduce myself to her and the friend. Latina lights up and this time I focus on the girl I want. I joke around with her saying she looks a lot like Selena Gomez she laughs and says her name is Selena ------ what were the fucking odds her name was Selena hahaha They had to leave so I said bye.

Kind of loosing that momentum and I feel I need to approach someone so I see someone sitting down. Introduce myself and thank god this one was kinda cute and shy. I tell her I want her to teach me how to two step. She can't because she has to watch over her friends things. We chit chat, she opens up a bit and we're having a good time. Friends come back, introduce myself to everyone and tell her lets go. Lead her to the dance floor. I show her how people in California dance. Her and a couple people around eye's light up. We then start two stepping and spinning each other around. She tells me to wait for a minute and she leaves. I say alright and start to think why am I waiting? I end up bailing and go back to Nathan for a water break. This was a tricky situation, but I did the right thing for that specific situation.

I go back onto the dance floor and run into her and all the friends. What sucked was I have no idea which one she is... so we all dance then out of nowhere the damn line dancing music comes on... I say fuck it. Why not try it out? I am in Texas haha Thank god the chick's guy friend guides me, but I'm lost and just fuck around from here. FINALLY normal dancing music comes back on and now a break dance circle starts. The guy who tried to teach me to line dance said I should go in and I say fuck that haha Some of the guys are doing some crazy shit and then they leave. Nobody goes in and then someone pushed me into the damn circle. I just dance and drop into doing the worm since that's the only break dance move I know then get the fuck outta there. I find out it was the guy who wanted me to go in and we're laughing our asses off.

Run into the Brazilians from the beginning. I start dancing and messing around with the girls. They had to leave so we say our good byes. Go back to Nathan and the rest of the guys. I'm sweating, thirsty, sober and having such a DAMN good time.

Cool off for a bit and go to the tables near the entrance. Nathan tells me to open the Asian in the group of four and ask her to go dance. I say alright and go even though I have no attraction for Asian girls. I didn't open her but engaged the entire group and Asian goes quiet and THANK GOD there was a cutie there. It was really cool to see that I could say barely anything at all, get the cutie to laugh and game me. I ask her if she wants to dance, but she kindly says she can't because she had to find a friend and leave. Talk a bit more and I left.

One last approach for the night, Nathan sends me over to a chick sitting down. Wasn't attractive, but it's all practice. Two step with her then I bail after.

We leave the club and Nathan goes into a debrief and asks me some questions about tonight. I honestly felt like I did bad tonight, but he told me I had a great night for my first night out.

Go back to my hotel at like 4 something with my ears still ringing, answered the questions on the paper Nathan gave me then went to bed.

[ LESSONS: Rejection won't kill me. I can become numb to rejections. I can lead chicks around and they'll love it. As long as I take action, I will get into the zone. I need to be the party. Don't be so logical. Easiest approaches by far are girls who are sitting down by themselves. ]


DAY 2

Wake up around 7 AM, get some breakfast, go to the gym, watch tv and meet up with Nathan & Rustam at a restaurant. Have some food, talk about the night and Nathan gives me more advice.

Pay the bills and go watch infield footage from last night. Talk about some interactions and what happened. Nathan lets me know tonight will be focusing on getting physical and what I need to work on somethings. The way I dress was fine and Nathan calls me out on my haircut haha. I'm not going to lie I've been cutting my own hair for the past 6 years because I always worry about spending money.

He tells me I need to work on my tonality. I had no idea my tonality sucks so we go and practice on the streets. First couple suck shit because I'm worrying about people looking at me. I begin to realize I'm not giving it my all so I think fuck it. Then my tonality is spot on. I could always speak in this tone, but I wasn't aware that I had a seeking rapport tonality.

Nathan says Jeff will be picking me up so we take off to meet up later that night.

Jeff picks me up and meet Rustam in the parking lot. Go in and this warehouse is so big. It was divided up into so many different sections like rodeo, nightclub, karaoke, biker bar and coyote ugly bar. It was nuts. I begin getting into my head a SHIT load. I had extremely high expectations and this club sucked compared to last night.The average age was way older than me like mid 30s.

I chicken out on a couple sets and let Rustam know what I'm thinking. So he tries to cheer me up so we go to the rodeo dance floor and do the dough-sea-dough. I'm feeling a lot better and he tells me to open this older woman. It goes well and then I leave. More walking around from here and stuck in my head.

Sidenote: I am depending A LOT on the high energy feeling most of the night and hating the club.

Nathan arrives with Matt. I let Nathan know what I'm feeling and how I want the club to be like last night. Which me resisting the fact just made it worse. Nathan then shows me some old ass grandmas dressed like they're 20 hahaha this was a great point and really showed me to look around the environment for things to laugh about.

We sit back and relax for a bit playing some game until the place fills up more. Nathan let's me know that he is going to make me open one of the hot dancers at the coyote bar... Then Nathan tells me to partner up with Jeff to play the 30 second game. I suck shit again, get punched a couple times, got blown out then talked to like 3 chicks.

More going around not approaching for a couple hours. Then I think Jeff tells me Nathan is looking for me so we head over to him. Little did I know I was in for one intense approaching session... It wasn't like approach after approach, but I got rejected by some really hot girls. All the rejection happened because I was serious, weird, not smiling, leaning in, etc.

I see Matt do some approaches and I've never known the look of intent until I saw him talking to chicks. His eye contact almost looks like he's gonna kill the girl haha

So Nathan texts me to come to the coyote bar... He's smirking and points to one of the dancers. "Right Here, Right Now." Nervous as HELL I go say something like "your gorgeous as hell. I just had to meet you." she responds really well, but I went completely blank. She continues to dance and I leave. Talk a bit to Nathan what happened, I went completely blank and he tells me I was in the DUR state.

Nathan then sees this hottie with her boyfriend. Jeff was hitting on her first then began to talk to the boyfriend. Nathan gave me something to say and I went in. I said something like "I love the fact your wild and let it all hang out." The chick was wearing a top that everyone could obviously see she wasn't wearing a bra. She actually laughs and gets up on me. Talk a bit then her boyfriend took her.

This completely blew my mind away. I couldn't believe I said something so out there, have her responded extremely well and get up on me. If I could guess this hottie was in her mid 20s.

Rustam opens this blonde. Nathan tells me to go for her cute blonde friend just as Matt goes in Nathan literally grabs the guy and pulls him away from her and I talked to her for a bit. That shit was so funny hahaha

We walk around and head over to the rodeo. Nathan gave me something to say and told me to open this one chick sitting down with a friend. I go in smiling from the nervousness saying "Hi I just saw you and think you are really cute. Would you like to dance?" her friend said a big "awww!" and she says "yes!" and I lead her to the dance floor. I start messing around with her, got to know each other, find out the logistics and being all lovey. Before, I was having trouble communicating as a man to woman and this one changed that. She says take my number and we'll dance again later. Get her number, but doesn't put down her name... She asked me "You don't know my name do you?" I don't remember names which is a problem haha so I just laugh it off and leave.

Hung around a bit with Nathan let him know what happened. He tells me I should of been honest and said I'm bad with names. It was pretty much a slap in the face to her because she invested all that time and had a connection with me, but I didn't know her name.

We leave and go into debrief at What a Burger. Nathan asks about my night, my brains dead, veins on my head are throbbing and I can't remember much. Again I was sober the entire time. My head was throbbing and Nathan's talk was an intense one. According to Jeff that was Nathan's best speech.

Went back home and it was hard to fall asleep this night.

[ LESSONS: I can learn a lot more from a "bad" night. Not to have such high expectation of the night. Anything can happen. All I need is one good interaction to make my night into a good one. I fucking approached a dancer, not many people can say they've done it or have the balls. I said crazy shit to a hottie and it went well. Remember the name. It's not about pumping myself up, I need to be relaxed. Look at the environment for some good laughs. ]


DAY 3

Woke up late this monring. Jeff picked me up to meet Nathan at Rudy's BBQ for the last debrief. I'm in Texas so I gotta at least try out the brisket haha Nathan told me that Tyler would always want to eat at Rudy's when he was in Austin. I heard Tyler is strict about his diet so the food must have been really good for him to give in.

Food was great, we talked about my post bootcamp plans and things I need to work on like eye contact, tonality, intent, leading, etc. We were there for about 5 hours or so. Being a Personal Trainer I gave fitness advice to Nathan and Jeff. Took their body fat measurements haha took a picture with Nathan and said our goodbyes.

Later at night, Jeff takes me out to 6th street into a 18+ club then he bails. Now I'm completely by myself which is a first. I don't do much for a while then when I start to relax and settle in. Do some approaches. Didn't go well. Walked up to two chicks it went pretty well then bailed.

Sitting by myself, I had the chance to see how guys act in clubs, followed girls, standing around acting tough and trying to look cool. Definitely could see they were waiting to be opened. First looking at them I'd assume they were unhappy because they got a boot shoved up their ass.

One older guy (30+ what the hell are you doing in a 18+ club?) was buying one drink after another and just giving them away to girls which was ridiculous. Another guy bought a drink, walked up to a chick sitting down, put it in front of her and just stood there looking everywhere besides the girl.

I see this really hot blonde walk in which looked a lot like Ashlee Simpson with her friends. Told myself I would approach her later once I warmed up a bit. I notice all the guys eyeing her, but don't approach. One guy did a pussy approach, they would walk towards her, but like move around her and do it again hoping the blonde would notice him. Funny as hell to see and can see why Tyler says how pickup can be easy and most guys out there are pussy little bitches.

Saw one guy standing there with his friend, a girl walks by and he was like "Hey, give me your number! Let's fuck!" Girl gives a disgusted look and the guy says "Fuck you then bitch!" Most guys DO NOT have any game.

Now I'm sitting there bored out of my mind so I go to the dance floor. Dance around a bit need a wingman so I found one. It helped me talk more and get outta my head. I wanna play a little game so I demonstrate. I point to a chick and tell him to open. He pulled out so many excuses NOT to do it. Tell him to point one out for me and he just didn't find one for whatever reason then I opened some chicks for him and he looked away.

Fuck it let's just dance then and not many people are dancing. I head over to a cutie by the dance floor and say "Why is it that someone as cute as you aren't on the dance floor" She laughs and tells me she's with her boyfriend. He looks over and I call him out that he should be doing at least something with her. This is when I realize some chicks have chodey ass boyfriends. I bail after.

I take a break, see the hot blonde from earlier and she walks right past me looking away. She saw me earlier having fun and wanted me to approach her. (Frustration and regret is building)

Go back into the dance floor to dance for a bit and see this hot emoish chick eyeing me. Don't approach the hot emoish chick... (More frustration and regret is building)

I've been thinking way too much about approaching the hot blondie and emoish which made me deep inside my head.

Club is closing and missed my chance... Well that's what I get for bitching out. (This frustration and regret starts to build up and I take full advantage of it later in the Reference Point section) Walked around 6th street for a bit then went to the hotel. Next morning packed and flew back to Orlando.

[LESSON: Most guys are little bitches when it comes to approaching woman. If I see a hottie go and get her. I don't want to regret and say "I wish I would of..." I rather have gotten rejected instead of wondering what would of happen if I did approach. I learn SO much more going out than reading about it online.]


POST BOOTCAMP

Sidenote: I would have NEVER had the balls to do the things I did below if it wasn't for pushing the limits on bootcamp. All of these happened when I was sober and in that zone.
REFERENCE EXPERIENCES

EYE CONTACT
Walked to the nightclub patio to get some air and cool off. I walk past a couple cuties, hold eye contact with each one of them, all of them smile hard and giggle. Made eye contact with the hottest girl at the club and made her smile for the first time that night then she runs away giggling with her other hot friend. Held the frame when this one chick was trying to tool me. I laughed in her face. My eye contact got so much better. I usually dart my eyes away.

RELAXED
A random chick squeezed my arm (I don't have big muscles), chicks dancing with guys are giving me the look, a super hottie opens me, random chick points to me and turns around, another random chick slaps my ass and another random opens me on the street. I do not know why these things happen, but I'm guessing chicks can almost sense I am a guy they want to meet. I no longer want the high energy feeling. I look to be relaxed to the point where I think I'm in a dream.

INTENT
Two hot chicks start dancing on the poles in the nightclub and some guy is making it rain with some $1. I pick up his money from the ground and demand the chick's attention. She looks at me smiling, I make two $1 rain, she's giggling and she starts dancing again then puts her ass in my face a couple times. While the jackass throws more money. This interaction helped me a lot on getting myself aroused in the club and using my intent to cut through.

PHYSICAL
I haven't been approaching much and see this stunner. She seriously looks like a Victoria Secret model. I am getting so aroused just by looking at her and we make eye contact. She looks away giggling so now she knows I am checking her out. Her friends walk past me and she follows. Without thinking I cut her off and wrapped my arms around her. She's giggling hard, I say exactly what was on my mind, admiring her body and she starts qualifying herself to me. I notice her friends are trying to get her attention so I demand her number and I get it. This is a interaction that meant a lot to me because I got a stunner super attracted and got her number really quick. My instincts took over and I set the tone to a sexual one which I was having trouble communicating man to woman.

CONFIDENCE
Went back to IV for Halloween, I was planning to drink (I haven't been out in a couple weeks because I moved back to California. More on that later...), but almost got caught drinking in the car by cops so no drinking for me tonight. I follow the process, so I say to 2 girls walking by "Hey, do you have change for a quarter?" they laugh. I'm a homeless hobo for Halloween haha so after a while I am completely relaxed.

Later in the night, I haven't been approaching much and this hottie in a playboy bunny outfit opens me. Start playing around with her then out of nowhere 5 hot swedish chicks come to me so I ditch the hottie. The hottest one opens asking for directions to this house. Vibing with the hottest one then I take all of them to the house. She is obviously very into me, but I was acting like a little bitch. Took a picture with her, Asked for the number (usually I demand it) she says she doesn't have a phone and she has to go. PATS me on the fucking shoulder "nice to meet you" and leaves. Jeffy was right, there's nothing worse than that.

I walk away thinking "what the FUCK, that was bullshit, what was I doing? I should of fuckin got that playboy bunny's number" Fury is building up as I walk back to my friend's house and then... I see the playboy bunny with two friends. Without even thinking I go in hard, she has no idea who I am, I take a step back, said something from the earlier conversation and she remembers me. We're flirting I did some push pull thing. I said something inviting while pushing her away with my hands and she wants to come closer pushing against my hands so I let her in. Played around with her for a bit then got the number.

Fucked around the entire night having fun, bitched out a couple times, opened a couple chicks with my eye contact alone and opened with random things. Text and call the playboy hottie throughout the night. She texts me obviously drunk so I'm assuming I was booty called, but she passed out. hahaha

Friends go to Freebirds for some food so I wait outside. Talk to a pretty hot chick next to me, it goes well and she reacting to everything I say. She leaves so I'm sitting there and I see super hotties with some frat guys. Give one guy the look, he nods, I laugh haha the super hot blonde looks at me biting her lip and eye fucks the shit outta me.

Adventure around town meeting some randoms then crash in my buddy's car.

Next morning I go around town feeling like a completely different person when I use to live there 6 months ago.

I work on one thing at a time each night out then everything just comes together.
