I've heard Owen and Brad read about this much. How? There's many books I want to read this summer and it's taking me too long. I'm learning how to get faster obviously, but any tips to speed me up would be appreciated.

I know this isn't what you asked, but. Assuming we are talking about non-fiction here... Isn't there some benefit reading slow aswell? You'll get more time to digest the material, process it over time and draw new conclusions.

yeah, I like to take "breaks" and sorta meditate on what I've read, but I'm sure others do too. I wanna meditate on what I've read AND read fast. Obviously, digesting the material is the most important thing tho.

Try out different ways of reading a lot. You can do it.

For me, I read a good amount when I'm reading like 4 books at once, and I will just try to read one chapter out of each per day, that adds up quickly. Good luck.

You need to remove television from your life and lower your time spent on the internet. You can read all of the books you want but if you are not understanding the concepts it is a waste of time, at least in the self-help genre. start by reading one book at a time.

Well, there you go, that's how you do it.

Teach a 21 day bootcamp in Dubai and don't have a daytime office job.

You can create the habits of reading 25' every morning with your coffee and 35' before bed. Also read when on train, bus, watiting etc. That stuff builds up to 20+ hours of more reading a week. Also my personal recommendation is to get yourself a Amazon Kindle (or any other good ebook reader).
