That is, you are a fucking idiot, if you don't sign up for:
http://www.precisionnutrition.com/lean-eating-waiting-list

Sorry but I see so many people chattering about weight loss and I KNOW you guys aren't doing the right shit cuz otherwise you wouldn't be talking about it.  Precision Nutrition Lean Eating is 100% going to work if you sign up, they basically tell you want to do, day by day, for a whole year.  I don't get paid for this, they don't have an affiliate program (which sucks, because its actually an amazing product/service).  I'm just an ex-client who realizes this is the "magic pill" you guys need.

Its $100 a month for a year.  If you "do things right" you'll learn that you're spending 2-4x as much money on food as you should/could be and will save >$100 a month on food anyway (hint hint, you're eating too much, even if you think you're not, and hint hint you're neuroassociations are fucked up just FYI, but don't worry Lean Eating will help you fix that, and make it EASY -- eating less ain't hard, you just are thinking about it super poorly...TRUST ME).

Anyway, nobody better talk "blah blah Paleo" because Paleo is a side issue, you can eat Paleo and stay fat just like you can be a vegetarian and be fat...this program is about FAT LOSS which you can do as a paleo or a vegetarian or a raw foodist or a full on carnivore.

If you really think you can "go it alone" wait until the next LE class starts up (July 2012) and then MAKE YOURSELF A PROMISE...measure your progress in July (body weight, girths, body fat percentage), and then see where you've gone by December.  If you haven't moved a bit, you should join.  (BTW I did this.  I once "thought about" Lean Eating and decided "meh I can get abs on my own".  Then saw it pop up again "meh OK fine I'll see where I am in 6 months" and then in 6 months realized "damn I'm at the exact same place, guess I'll join..." -- and yup I got greaaaaaat results, and I looked pretty damn normal to start with.

So STFU about your fat ass and just join the program, they tell you what to do EVERY DAY.  And if you don't "get results" you get your money back at the end of the year.  How could you go wrong?  (Besides if you are just a loser and can't follow simple instructions.)

The website looks pretty scammy, but I then I went to the Articles sections and I was surprised: good stuff!  I'm already commited to a different plan, but I'll definitely read those articles... you are spot on about the Paleo thing. It is better than eating SAD, but you have to experiment and personalize it a bit, if you want to have awesome results, and especially if you have some health issues.

PS: if anyone is a nutrition/health nerd, have a look at this guys blog: jackkruse.com/about-chasing-change/  it is the closest thing to a Magic Pill (actually reading this blog will make your head hurt..).

Being fat is a consequence of your lifestyle. I recommend creating healthy habits, whereby a good looking body is nothing else than a consequence. Mark Sisson's Book helped me a lot on that, also watching crossfit videos and reading on nutrition from different perspectives is great.

Nobody needs a program like this. How hard is it to go to the grocery store and buy chicken, fish, turkey, potatoes, brown rice, apples, veggies --- etc.

I understand that you're a fan of the program but spending $100 a month is ridiculous. Go check out a library book on bodybuilding and do the shit for free.

Arnold's Encyclopedia of Bodybuilding is an example of a book that has all of the information needed.

the major problem with weight loss is willpower and changing old shitty habits for new ones - which gets easier and easier as time goes on

that website just gives extra leverage to commit to change due to the $100 p/month fee

Precision nutrition is the shit. I posted a link to their site earlier. They are one of the few companies who actually know anything worth a fuck about eating right. I don't have a need to use their products but I recommend them wholeheartedly.

If Utopia5 recommends it then it's probably good.

If you are sedentary, get up and move, get sweaty at least 3 times a week.  But preferably every day for many hours if your body can handle it.

If you eat a lot of calorie-dense foods, you're going to be hungry.  You've got two choices.  You can keep eating the same way and try to eat less of it (good luck) and be terribly HUNGRY all the time.  Or... you can switch to bulkier foods: tons of veggies, esp green ones and watery ones like zucchini and bok choy, fruits, whole grains, and skip fatty cheeses, sauces, alcohol, white flour and sugary stuff, extra oils, and anything that's been processed in any way.  If you can train yourself to eat more stuff that is lower on the food chain, you will be less hungry and will have a much easier time with weight loss.  The more calorie-dense your diet is, the harder it will be for you to change your habits.

You can count calories, eat a bunch of diet shit, or take pills... but the same basic problem will always remain: your habits.  They got you into the mess, so they will HAVE to change, to get you out of it.  There is no universal solution, but the two things above - exercise, and bulky eating are universal principles.

You don't need a bunch of crap advice or diet plans and diet products.  All you need is some common sense and a strong will.  If you have a weak will, you'll fail.  You'll have to develop iron clad willpower, and good habits.

BTW, good, fresh food tastes good.  There's nothing better than home-cooked meals.

$100 month + "waiting list"...hmmm

I do not doubt that the information on there might be good, but $100 a month? Cmon...

My personal philosophy: You need to step to every single girl like a fucking bomb. You need to have presence. You need to stand out, and not in a surface level way such as what you're wearing, but as who you are and the way in which you communicate. You need to be unforgettable. You need to create a sense of urgency, that you are now or never. You need to push and at the same time be completely willing to walk away. It is essential to disidentify with the ego, otherwise the inherent rejection associated with pickup will destroy you.

Yup.  Habit change == exactly what PN is all about.

IMO the habits created by posting a link to marksdailyapple is that people might start reading a blog and/or joining a newsletter.  Endless loop of infinite information == inaction + creating the belief "Oh mark sisson is a trusted authority".
