it depends, reading dan brown is basically like playing world of warcraft

I tend to only read non-fiction and business / health related books now because that is my focus, but I do have a huge reading list of fiction and literary classics for when I'll be old and retired.

Some of my biggest life lessons have come from reading GOOD fiction.

What does this influence on pick up?

You need the brain to know the truth of life and what attracts women.

 Fiction books are lies.

Your brain starts accepting lies as if they were truths.
Then your brain can not tell which is a lie and what is the truth.
Then everything becomes one.

You need the brain to know the truth of life and what attracts women.

The more you know how the world operates

much more powerful will be your reality
So what fiction books are lies? You are UNDERESTIMATING gravely the POWER of having a strong ability to communicate. Fiction books almost always rely on the ability of the author to write well and tell a story in a compelling manner.

You cannot understand yourself or the world better by reading fiction books. They will not develop you as a person, nor will is it worth wasting your time attempting to discover the fundamental truths behind the words of great men such as Dickens. Shakespeare, for example, will not help you better comprehend human nature. Maugham's "Of Human Bondage," as another case in point, is rather irrelevant to understanding the deep urges that drive us as humans (and men).

I find it best to stick to disposable pseudo-erudite pop psychology books you find in the "Motivational" or "Personal Development" section of your favourite online book store and leave all that other boring stuff for people who are stupid enough to bother with all that "real literature" stuff. All those books are full of big words, anyway. Who wants to learn those.

I don't read much fiction any more, but non-fiction can include alot more than self-help books. Check out biographies or books written by journalists that tell a story or describe an event, truth is often stranger than fiction.

In this latter category, definitely check out Sebastian Junger, probably best known for writing "The Perfect Storm" (an awesome book btw). I've read 2 other books by him, "Fire", and "War". In "War" he "lives" with an Army platoon in a remote valley in Afghanistan for 6 months. Fucking awesome book.

Also another author that comes to mind is Jon Krakauer ("Into Thin Air", "Where Men Win Glory"...I highly recommend both).

Dude, the name "fiction," says all

If it's fiction. It is not true.

If it is true. It is not fiction.

Lies destroys the mind.

The first thing I did not want to hear is the History of Snow white girl. (story liar).

I grew up. And as I was not a prince ... I have less value

Maybe Twilight Full of truths?

These things come in your unconscious. You do not realize, but fuck you.

Do I separate it well: Lies and truths.
