Like a jamba juice or whole foods or whatnot? I haven't been able to find any places so far. It would be more convienient than making it myself and better when I'm out of town. Anyone know?

You might be able to make custom smoothies at Jamba, I don't know if they'll have some of the healthier ingredients though. Expensive health food stores usually have smoothie bars you can go to, and they'll definitley have the ingredients.

Fuck yeah thanks dude!  I searched for "Houston Smoothie Bar" and got this:  http://www.islandgrillhouston.com/smoothie-menu.htm.  They have spinach smoothies and everything.

Some Whole Foods locations sell different green bottled drinks that are basically cucumber, celery, spinach, broccoli, blended up, etc.

Not this "green machine" bullshit that is just green colored due to a few greens but is basically sugary applejuice and pineapple juice that Odwalla and the other big juicer company make.

Also don't forget V8 juice.  Yeah, its not green but its still vegetably without added sugars or fruit juices, though it is salty.  I hear it also mixes well with vodka, something we haven't been seeing with the green drink phenomenon.

Every st. patty's day the bar down the street serves a delicious green beer. I find that high nutritious for my brain. Really amps up that pre-frontal cortex. Top it off with a few vodka-red bulls and I'd say you're pretty much invincible.

Yeah some whole foods have a juice bar where you can order any combo of vegetable/fruit drink that they juice up for you right there. It's much better to get it fresh like that anyway, b/c fresh juice like that can go bad fast, like within a day or less, b/c of oxidation. The rule that I follow is to never store fresh juice, just chug it now.

Not sure where you live but here in nyc there's a store called Elixir which has green juices.

Are you guys juicing the vegetables or blending?  There seems to be a debate about which one is better.

Well juicing takes out all the fiber, but blending can be harder to make it into a juice that is drinkable. I think both are good enough anyway, that arguing for one or another is nitpicking. If you're doing juicing/blending at all then I think that is legit no matter what.

I bought a juicer first but it wasn't filling me up. So I got a blender and I don't use the juicer anymore. I make a nice smoothie with about 5 bananas and some vegatables and have that for breakfast/lunch.
