This is the result of not dealing with AA
I would think that the Virginia Tech shootings that took place five years ago is a more accurate depiction but yea I think its hideous crimes like this that are pretty much the result of not even addressing AA, or any other deep psychological issue really.

Yeah there's a big issue of consent here.
Before anything can be decided, you have to figure out if the act was forced or consensual. And then after that is figured out, you have to objectively analyse if the woman was mentally ill, AND if that mental illness would cause her to not understand her actions.
If these things can be proved, you can then call it gang rape. But obviously news headlines jump WAY ahead of the facts.
N's assessment of the woman's state of mind is subjective, as she is not an expert, it is not a controlled environment and they were clearly both at different emotional states. I'm not saying the girl wasn't crazy but I'm saying that you can't jump to that conclusion.
I get the point of the thread, if nobody had AA, then everyone would've told those guys to stop or fuck off or something, but this wasn't really a gang rape, in the traditional sense.
