That seriously shouldn't happen after 8 hours. If your young, healthy, you excercise, and your diet is right then this shouldn't happen. Go to the doctor.

Depends what hes working on.

If you're in front of a computer for extended periods of time (like 8-12+ hours...) then yeah, a headache isn't uncommon.

My personal philosophy: You need to step to every single girl like a fucking bomb. You need to have presence. You need to stand out, and not in a surface level way such as what you're wearing, but as who you are and the way in which you communicate. You need to be unforgettable. You need to create a sense of urgency, that you are now or never. You need to push and at the same time be completely willing to walk away. It is essential to disidentify with the ego, otherwise the inherent rejection associated with pickup will destroy you.

Really? Hmm, I'm usually in front of a computer for at least 8 hrs a day and I've never had that issue. My bad if this is a common issue that I just don't experience.

It depends I should have mentioned, and if you do it all the time you get used to it. Depends a lot on other factors like frequency of taking breaks / looking away from screen, how close to the screen you're sitting, genetic predisposition to headaches / eye strain, how large the screen is etc etc etc.

Take someone who hasn't looked at a computer / television screen in years, and plop them infront of one for the entire day - they'll probably have a headache / eye strain.

Yea sorry refreshing facebook doesn't count here. Try doing some work, like writing for 8 hours - it's not possible. OP, you have to work in 'bursts'. Work for 30 minutes, take 15 min break and cycle. Doing focused work (writing, seo, design, etc) is impossible to do for 8 hours straight. Or two hours for that matter. I'm sure Tyler alternates between working on the PC, then speaking than doing whatever. He's not just glued to the PC all day. At least my guess.
Also, for creative work (like writing), the maximum effective output is around 2 hours per day. You can't do more. This is confirmed by a few people, including Tim Ferriss

Oh yeah your right, I'm just on facebook all day. Nah, I work at an engineering firm. My time is spent writing reports, design work, meetings/client calls. I do take breaks often, and switch tasks when I get bored. But most of my day is spent staring into a screen.

Very simply, Tyler is doing something he loves and that he has dedicated his life to. And he works for himself. You do those things, and you'll crank out 15-20 hour days with ease. When time passes like its been only a minute, that's how you know you've found what you are meant to be doing. Find it.

I function at max capacity when...

*Strict paleo
*Exercise (weight workouts 3-4 days a week) + bicycle to work
*8 hours of sleep in pitch black room
*Downtime -- play guitar, walk my roommates dog, etc...
*Sex :)
*Meditation

I'm obviously not always at max and not always on top of my shit, but when I am absolutely killing it in all areas of my life, that shit is going down.
