Interesting he says to "ignore your weaknesses" and focus only on your strengths.

Agreed.

I was thinking about what he said, ignore your weaknesses and focus on your strengths... I have a feeling the context he meant it was different.

He probably just means like... ok say you have a business with two products, and one is selling really well and the other one isn't selling so well.  It makes more sense to focus on the one that sells well rather than spend time and money trying to improve the one that isn't selling well while neglecting the one that does.  I dunno.  I'd be interested to hear other people's thoughts on this.

I think he meant it like look at aspects of social skills.  Maybe you are naturally good at humor and direct game, but naturally bad at subtle game and indirect game.  I think he was saying to spend your time improving what you're good at rather than trying to get better at something where it won't be efficient.  In other words, if you naturally suck at indirect game, you could practice it for 6 months and not really be any better.  But if you're naturally humorous, you could work on improving that aspect of your game and in 6 months you would probably have improved a lot more overall than if you had spent that time working on indirect game.

It's like the saying "play to your strengths."

He doesn't mean don't try to improve your social skills in general.

At least that's how I took it.

Maybe he's totally wrong, but I see where he's coming from.

Good video.

Some notes I took from it:

■ Identity what it is that you really want.
■  You got strengths and you got weakness. Don’t focus on your weakness, ignore them. Cultivate your strengths.
■ The level of achievement that you have at anything is a reflection of how well you were able to focus on it. Because the only thing that is holding you back is the way you are thinking.
■ Picturing yourself doing the thing that you want, is the first step to achieving it. Imagine how it feels to have it, to do it, to be it. The more you see yourself achieving it, the more likely it will become a self-fulfilling prophecy.
■ You have to dedicate every single day to working on your goal. You have to put in the work. But since it is out of love of the work, it will not seem like work.
■ When you get discouraged, go back to the original idea. To the big picture, the thing that got you excited to begin with.

didnt watch the video but the quote can be taken in the context of weaknesses that cant be fixed.
ignore weaknesses, your height, your weight, your looks. focus on stengths (in RSD...well, spirituality, core confidence, etc). its to stupid to waste our time focussing on weaknesses that cant be changed.
