Yeah bro, the death of Aristocracy is what fucked up the systeme in the first place. otherwise what do you think of the FACT, that gold stopped circulating in todays world, and paper money taking it's place? huh? have you never stopped to notice why this happenned? The way I posted this has been very unfortunate, I agree.
However, the fact remains the only reason why we in the West can have the life style we have is because billions of people all around the world have been brutally exploited for centuries. This is something called reality. The reason why we cannot see that is because we've been socially conditioned not to see it.
If you want to sit in front of your 60" flat screen TV and meditate, I don't blame you, I totally get it. But there are a few people on this forum with the power within, financial resources and power outside to be able to form their oppinions and maybe take some form of action, even if it's just rising awareness or slowly but surely taking baby steps to bring about change so that one day our children can have a future without somebody elses children having to suffer or die for it.
That's what I would love to see RSD become in ten years from now. Not just a bunch of lamos trying to get laid but a group of empowered individuals being able to influence the world on a larger scale. Whatever the cause may be.

What people did in the past to exploit natural resources from North and South America, as as well as all over the world, is immoral and insane. That's just people ripping eachother off, not capitalism, regardless that whatever laws existed may have permitted it.
To me what capitalism is about would be the fact that I work my ass off in a competitive industry, and this causes me to continually improve the value proposition I offer to people, to make something of immense value for everyone to enjoy.
The free content is there for everyone as a marketing peice but also just to be enjoyed by people who don't buy anything. The paid programs get the raving reviews because we operate under a harsh and unforgiving capitalist system that will not reward us with repeat customers and good word of mouth unless we delight them and exceed their expectations. This makes us go harder and harder and harder to do the most insane shit imagineable in order to provide value to our list.
I've been kicked out of most of my fav clubs and malls in LA, attacked by angry boyfriends, snuck cameras through the most crazy security, in order to build that Hot Seat event. I go out every night despite having a family to get my game to the level that I kill it on Bootcamps. I often go months on shitty sleep and travel in order to get the message out there to people and meet them personally. This is all done out of passion, but there is no way I'd have taken it this far if it was a CHOICE.
What I've built has HURT. Business is not FUN. Ignore the idiots who spout on and on about how you should start your own business to be your own boss and have fun -- you do this only because there's something inside you that MAKES you do it. I do this shit because I'd rather die than not do it, not because it's fun but because I was BORN to do this. For "fun" I'd work a 9 to 5.
If you like RSD, you like it because it's been under a lot of "evolutionary pressure" from the capitalist system. It's a well honed machine because we've operated under harsh conditions that only rewarded us if we were innovative in making the product offer more value for dollar every year. That's been tough. I've given up a lot to create what you see here. A system that doesn't reward that would be absurd. There could be no pickup company run by the GOVERNMENT that could ever be as good. No sane person would take it this far if their pay check was guaranteed.
Like many entrepreneurs I've crossed the threshold where I now have everything I want, and my brain has been re-wired (through a decade of repetition) to find it more fun to be a workaholic insane person than a normal human who has "leisure". I also have everything I want in terms of material goods so what I crave now is to be flying through the fucking air (metaphorically) as a teacher -- up there just KIILLING it. But this could only happen under the current system, not a socialist one. I LIKE what this system has done to me. I like that it's put me through endless bullshit so I could become a grown adult who has a work ethic and pride in the value I produce. I wouldn't have ever done it by choice, but now that it's been done, I wouldn't have it any other way.
Ambitions like running a large company means: influence. It means that you reach the top people and your message gets further. It's a symptom of doing the right things, not the end in itself. But if I've failed to create something of value that people want to compensate me for, then I've failed to create something of enough value point blank period, and should keep tinkering with the product until it's hit that point. I like the harshness of this system. It prevents you from getting too pie in the sky. Produce results or else get the fuck out. :)
The flipside of this is companies that play off of people's ignorance, desire for a magic pill, or who spend more on marketing than product quality. This is the dark side of capitalism. It wasn't understood or expected when the founding fathers of America implemented the system. My interest here is to educate people. That's what I'll spend my lifetime doing, and hopefully create some change, but not run around asking people to give me free shit that I didn't go out and earn (or create s system that would enforce that).

Well RSD will always be about 1) dating advice, 2) social dynamics, 3) self actualization -- but based around the PUA subculture of GETTING LAID.
As we expand into other things, it won't be needed for guys who are married, or women or younger people, to go out and fuck chicks to be a part of the culture. It'll be it's own separate thing.

I haven't made myself completelly clear. I did say however, that I PERSONALLY AM A HUGE FAN OF CAPITALISM. I'm running a consultancy and an online retail myself. I love what sort of bullshit you have to go through and how much you grow if you are a small business owner (anything under 100mil revenue is a small business).
What I absolutelly cannot stand though is what I witnessed during my travel through Asia. Child slavery in sub-contracted factories by high street brands, exploitation of natural resources, etc, I could go on for hours...
THAT LITTLE ATTACK OF MINE WASN'T MEANT TO BE AGAINST CAPITALISM, IT WAS AGAINST THE GREED OF MULTI BILLION CORPORATIONS who have been ruthlessly exploiting the third world for centuries and the only thing that allowed them to get away with it was to corrupt and brain wash all of us - the governments, the citizens, all the classes from top to bottom.
I'm sure you're thinking I'm taking this social conditioning thing too far. You want to discredit it by calling it a conspiration theory, which is the easy way out.
Maybe I am taking it bit too far... 100 million is the equivalent of the value that he will produce therefore the people will receive. I mean real VALUE(not debt, interest, etc.) like the food that you eat but for the brain. The inner game of life. How else he can say how much he wants to do for other people? And when you spend the money if you work all the time? If you have money you can spend it for yourself or you can build something for everybody.
I think the world is so fucked up but we can't change it. You can change yourself and that is it. You can control only yourself. Start with that and you will bring good to the world. Then maybe you will give example to someone else and then they will see that this is better way of living. You can't force it but you will do what you can do.
I think the lack of self actualization studying contributes to the fucked up world because our brains are not fit to live in a society like that. This is not a new shit for the human race. People were looking for better way of living since Buddha and Jesus. Now it's just worse because of the technology.

The whole point of capitalism is that both parties gain from trade. Captalism has nothing to do with the poverty of countires elsewhere, in fact captalism offers people in other countries better opportunities.
Let's say, for example that Apple did not offer better wages than working in a field. What would be the effect? People in china would not work at the Apple factory, they would work in the field. People work at the Apple factory because they can make more money than they could doing a job elsewhere. Once again capitalism benefits them.
Do they have the same working conditions as Americans do, or the same wages? No of course not, the world is not fair and most attempts to make things fair punish the reward system that capitalism establishes. Is America where it is today because it also went through an age of factory work? Yes.
In my opinion you seem to be becoming aware of the fact that the world is not fair and seem to be buying into propaganda that our government systems are purposely exploiting other countries. You likely feel good thinking that your post and insight is actually going to make a change. It's unlikely, if you really want to change things then you need to actually make an effort to change them and I'm sure you're doing more than just writing thread posts.

I grew up in communist Czechoslovakia and that probably altered my world view where paradoxically now I can see through PR lies and marketing bullshit more than others.
You said on couple occasions in the past (not sure your convictions still stand) that you're a big fan of capitalism (“You wanna go live in Venezuela under Hugo Chavez?”), even after what it did to you.
I am a big fan of capitalism myself. BUT NOT THE FORM OF HYPER CAPITALISM WE HAVE TODAY.
I won't be doing any convincing here. I know you're a big fun of reading I would like to recommend two books and a movie. Do research on the authors and make up your own mind.

- Value your struggle. You don't know what you have. Once you're able to go to the most exclusive venue in town, on your own, dressed like shit, tired from work, exhausted from the gym, on Tue night... and still pull a dime piece... the game gets little boring.
- Stop asking questions here, aim to go out 7 nights a week, workout, meditate, live life on the edge and read Ozzie's book. Then come back and share what you learnt.
- Nobody here talks about heartbroken stalker girls, threatening pissed off boy friends, chlamidia... What universe are you guys living in???
- Jeffy has 9 balls... and a book that's pretty damn good.
- Used to be a product of human society for way too long. It's time for human society to be the product of me.
