Blllahhhh. Started up on the green smoothie (kale, spinach, brocolli, ginger, almonds, apple, banana, sometimes blue berries, ice) and it was going well for a day or two. By the fourth day, I got this HORRIBLE stomach ache and headache. Literally felt like doing nothing and completely depressed(!!!). Had to take the next day off and went to buy some subway. From what I've read, this is the negative affects of detox and my body being so used to eating crap. Think I'm gonna go with a 3 or 4 day on, 1 day off schedule for a couple weeks until I can handle this so that I can continue eating the green smoothie for a long time and not be completely disgusted by it.

Ya homie and just that coconut oil and saturated fats have been given a bad rep until recent.. the major dietary consensus blaming all of saturated fat is bad and not taking into account the quality from sources or wholefoods. Nothing is entirely black and white and the studies behind saturated fats are a mix bag.
I also use coconut oil for skin/hair sometimes when I feel dry.. smells nice if u like the smell, makes girls hungry ;]
How was that maca going for you? I just ordered some even tho the evidence backing up the benefits are little to none. I also orderd some Rhodiola which I studied/heard from classmates is an amazing herb.. for stress, anti depressent, endurance, sexual function, memory, immunity, adaptogenic. I'll update on how i feel. I was orginally gonna go with Ashwagandha, an auyervedic herb but I like the memory enhancing and physical edurance properties of Rhodiola.
I'm putting together "late night pimp it" tonic consisting of herbs for energy boosting but also internaly calming+for sexy times

that's cool you guys brought up coconut oil. coconut oil is DOPE... so good for your digestive system and it has the ability to kill a lot of bacteria, fungus, virus, etc inside your body. i always add coconut oil to my green shakes. it also counters the flavor if you have strong greens, like collard greens. collard greens require a lot of fruit to counter the taste, but coconut oil does a great job for it. also i wanted to chime in and let you guys know that i recently exchanged my old blender for a GLASS jar blender. plastic jars may contain BPA which fucks with your hormonal system... you really don't want it. and i made this realization when my shakes started tasting plasticy... i was like, what the fuck is going on. ive been using it everyday for a few months so i think i just wore it down since it was so cheap, but now i am only buying glass jar ones.
