Apparently Tucker Max has given up on the game. He has decided to 'clean up his life' etc etc. I used to read his material and was a fan, even bought his book but as I read more and more here, I started to call bullshit on a lot of his stuff. Some of it may be true but it always seemed seriously hyped up to sell it.

Max was interviewed by Michael Ellsberg at http://www.forbes.com/sites/michaelellsberg/2012/01/18/tucker-max-gives-up-the-game/

The interview is the usual, just touching the surface type of thing but I'm interested in what guys who are into this think of Tucker. Reckon he was a player or fake?

What I reckon is that you are a SPECTATOR and also that Tucker is hilarious.

You think there's not that many fucken cool dudes out there?  Tucker must be fronting?  There's literally thousands of guys that have the adventures of Tucker Max, he just happens to be the dumb fuck who started writing it down on the internet for luzers to read and get a taste of too.

Actually, I am going by recorded interviews where he simply failed to show the supposed cockiness and alpha male attitude that he claims he can do. I don't bother with all that as I do natural game. I don't like to pretend I'm something I'm not, that's why I treat it like I am beginner. I don't attack people on here like I've noticed a lot of posters do. I am going on what I have seen of him. I don't doubt that a lot of guys have these sort of adventures but I am questioning his validity. I respect your opinion but it won't change mine.

Besides, to say I am a spectator, to try and devalue my opinion is weak. Name calling at the start, generally shows a poor arguement.

I thought there was interest in having him do a mastermind but he turned out being fake. He's hilarious though.

I think he called you a spectator because you seem to have too much interest in someones personal life.

The dude wrote a book, it's not an autobiography, it's a fictional book.  Take it as that, it's a book.  No need to worry if the author hypes up his life or not, who cares.

Oh right. I just see a lot of that on the internet and on some forums. Where people seem to think that by name calling it devalues your opinion. Typically they have no real arguement but do the school yard thing of name calling etc to make fun of you and in turn it makes fun of your arguement. In the same way, people call anyone who disagrees with their point of view a troll. Again, it's used to detract value in that's persons opinion, yet offers no real arguement to why they are wrong.

Tucker never said it was a fictional book. He has always claimed it is true and valid exactly as he tells. Moreover, It's not at his personal life that I am talking or caring about. I respect him for deciding to change what he was unhappy about. I was merely asking for others opinions on him. I was a big fan till I read stuff on here. I respect Tyler as I see repeated videos of him doing it. I haven't seen any of Tyler, just him talking.

After reading a lot on people's language use when lying and peoples behavious (such as putting in too much unneeded information), I don't believe him to the extent he wants you to. I reckon he has had some crazy adventures but I would rather read Tyler, Jeffy, Tim, Brad etc than him.

I suppose it's more the type of girls that kind of got to me after a bit. They always seemed to be drunk, drinking or college girls. Where guys on here seemed to pick up girls from the street and the high quality girls. Tucker never seemed to offer any opinions or value in his work, it always read as a pure ego boost for him. I used to hype up what happened to me when I first started and I saw it in him - I suppose that is probably what swayed me more towards these boards. Tyler etc break the stuff down for people to learn and use it.

From the article: "He is changing his ways of the past, and—gasp!—becoming a mature adult male, one is who seeking a committed, long-term relationship, leading to marriage, with an intelligent, substantive, accomplished woman."

LOL FAGGOT.

Tucker grew up. His stories are most likely smoothed over, but real.

I wouldn't overanalyze anything one way or the other.

The impressions people have of me are often overly positive or overly negative.  It's hard to now what to think.  Just take the value and use it where it applies.  If you ever become acquainted in real life it will be more worth your time to analyze his character. :)
