Kind of. If you drink 12 beers per night then that's a shitload of bad calories and the only way you're going to lose weight is by massively cutting down on eating normal food to make way from all the calories from the beer. Substituting it for something pure with minimal calories like rum or vodka will be much better, IF the reason you are drinking is for the alcohol and not the taste.

Your attitude is fucking lame. Sorry dude, if you want health, you've got to live healthy.
Guy's already told you what to do:
- Paleo (organic meat/fish/veg/egg/fruit/nuts, no grains and refined carbs (so that means no alcohol either)
- High intensity training (short sessions, heavy lifts)

If you can't hanlde that, forget it and shut the fuck up about wanting results you don't deserve.

I'm on the same track, shooting for 8 week abs, inspired by the life and times of Tim (of RSDN) and Tyler (though he's a crazy mofo).

I'm 6'1'' and just cut 25lbs (220-->195, havent seen that in a while lol), never had abs but I damn well will by Feb 21 (going on vacay with my neighbour and her girlfriends). Biggest thing has been the change in my diet and the fact that I will go to the gym EVERY day, NO EXCUSE. Watch Tyler's video on why he would rather die than miss a day at the gym. Even if you go 30 min a day but go consistently, it will change your mental make up, its incredible, you'll be a whole new person.

Second, change your diet.
You do have to drop your caloric intake to lose weight. We've got a SodaStream in our house, so out goes all the sugary shitty pop --> toss that shit, no more bad sugars. I actually reward myself when I have a carbonated water with a lemon wedge in it, and it tastes fucking awesome! Be very concious of what you eat and remember your intent. This 8 week goal for me is great because its not so long that my brain deems it unreasonable, yet its long enough to be an impressive feat. Eat your veggies, fish and eat more often but smaller portions. If you're craving fast food, slap yourself, go have a whey protein and mix it with water, one scoop is usually more than enough (mine says 4 scoops in a serving which is ridiculous, your body will turn the excess over to weight gain in no time). And thats about all I've done differently.

This combo will make you a deadly mofo!

The key thing is be happy with the good that you are doing for yourself, associate pain with not doing it, and dont make any fucking excuses!!

I'm going to walk a half hour through this cold shitty rain to get to the gym because I was a dickhead and didn't go 2 hours ago like I should have.

I wish you the best brother.

cut all unnaturel food, cut sugar, cut liquid calories, excercise, lift weights(more muscle mass burns more calories without doign anything), eat vegtables, I drink too I love beer and wine but dont gorge, limit yourself to 1-2 max of 3.
I do atleast 20 min work out a day +some days I add muay thai for an extra hour and a half. drink lots of water and get lots of sleep if possible. understand the first couple weeks you will be hungrey, youd be surprised how little food you actually need on a plate to be satisfied. Listin to your body not your mind :P

OK, this thread is ridiculous. If you want to get down to 7% body fat, you are going to have to make some SERIOUS SACRIFICES. There is no way around this. As far as diet goes, I see the paleo diet plugged here CONSTANTLY. However, scientific studies have proven over and over again that it is not THAT effective. I think people here are attracted to it on rsdnation because of the whole mentatlity of BEASTMODE, increase t-levels, get physical immediately, caveman that bitch, so on and so forth. And the paleo diet is promoting eating like you live in that prehistoric time period. I am not saying paleo does not work but there are much more effective diets that can also be a lot cheaper. Check this link out:

http://health.usnews.com/best-diet

My general advice as far as dieting goes are a couple simple points, and this is currently what I'm following:

-No fast food
-Only water and coffee
-Minimal alcohol intake (like 1 night a week, tops 2 nights and still very moderate intake)
-No smoking

Plus, a somewhat strict diet in terms of nutrition. I basically try to get a lot of protein, good fats, lots of greens and fruits. This isn't hard. You know what you should and should not eat to achieve the body you want. Are you willing to put in the effort to be that ripped motherfucker girls are fucking attracted to immediately when they see em? Then, throw in game and it's like shooting fish in a barrel. Not only that, but you are going to feel AMAZING. Like, dedicate yourself to fitness and health for a month. See how fucking AWESOME and FRESH you feel all the time. It's fucking absurd. I totally agree with Tyler that eating shitty food is indeed a lower form of consciousness.

Now, a workout regimen should be decided by you. You know your body and what results you would like to see. This is an extremely great resource for supplements, workout plans, and motivation:

www.bodybuilding.com

Hit up the forums and see the motherfuckers that are solely focused on improving their bodies. It's ridiculous. Like, going to the gym and killing it every day is the same as picking up girls for us. They are constantly striving for perfection, it's awesome. : )

The most important thing is raising your motivation to get yourself right. This is self-improvement. It's constant. Never ending. You should always strive to get better with girls, to look better, etc

Gmoney's got it right, you feel so fresh and clean and real, its awesome :P more often than not thirst is mistaken for hunger! and also you should really try not to drink while you eat or shortly after.(reduces enzyemes in the mouth and dilutes stomach acid)

Gmoney just described the paleo diet...

7% bodyfat is nice, but seriously hard to stay at all year round.  at 14- 15% YOU WILL BE SHREDDED.   I used to be a globo-gym guy...but about 8 months ago I started crossfit...and will never go back to a regular gym.  My times are better...my #'s are up...and I eat like a motherfucker.  The harder you work out...the less you need to be focused around calorie counting.....The Paleo diet pretty much takes care of everything...no need to "zone" it out..  In fact, only after doing Crossfit for a few months, I couldn't understand why I spent so much time doing absolutely nothing.  The government has been teaching incorrect nutrition to its people for a long time.  I woul have thought the same thing before my fitness journey began...but thats the thing about growth...learning....and experimenting...you almost can't fathom how you did all that other shit in the first place.

Here is a great link:

dude sometimes the advice here is just too much.....can get really confusing.  so here is some more advice:

-your body has two modes, fat burning and fat storage.  If there is famine you're body is in fat storage mode.  If you're eating lets say a paleo diet, that everyone loves on here, and you're craving pizza as you're walking by the shop, your body will turn on the fat storage programs, because it does not know that you're trying to look good, it thinks no food equals famine.  Better store fat.  So you starve and starve your self more.
-start by adding things to your diet.  Good fat, good assimilable protein, and tons and tons of live foods.  Vegetables should be most of your diet raw and cooked about half.  Than nuts and seeds and fruits, and mushrooms.
-If you crave something eat it.  Just add live foods to what you want to eat.  Live meaning fresh veggies and fruit.  Live is if you put it under a microscope, shit moves in it.  If you eat what you want you will not send  to your body signals that it should turn on the fat programs.  If you add the three things I told you your body will recognise that there is plenty of nutrients and phytochemicals around so it can turn off the fat programs.
-this is the way I eat and I've been a football player and bodybuilder, now a yogi.  If I eat fast foods or fat now, my body litterally lights up the ovens man.  If I go out and rent a flick and order a pizza, my body gets sooo hot as it burns the calories up its insane.  I can go out in the freezing winter and not be cold at all, its really strange and cool at the same time.  Of course I feel like I had a hangover the next day, from the junk.

Also I do ashtanga yoga which by itself will put you in the best shape of your life ever hands down.

Do your research, figure your own shit out.  Seven percent body fat can be a super healthy seven percent or a super destructive one as well.  I recommend the gabriel method, or Dr. Joel Fuhrman even more.  Peace and good luck.
