a mobile - optimized version of the site would be a good idea.

For an app - here's a thought

1) free app with access to all the free youtube vids, plus the contents of the newbie site when it comes out

+

2) A subscription service that grants streaming access to RSD mastermind. If you don't mind throwing the archives up there as part of the bundle, that would be a great value.

Also, worth thinking about whether to replace mastermind with a monthly video series anyway.

You know when I first read the "having an instructor call you a loser for not getting out of the house" thing I thought it was ridiculous.

But the more I think about it the more I could see that as pretty funny.  Especially if it was combined with other acutally useful features.

You could also do an approach machine, something that plays the 30 second game by saying "You have 30 seconds to approach, or I will play Justin Beaber as your ringtone... GO"

Jeffy saying that you are a faggot and that hes gonna punch you in you balls

That would be a pretty funny vid

 Yes!

We shall have access to the cult AT ALL TIMES!

In all seriousness i think it's a very cool idea but then you'll probably see people whipping out their iphones to look up rsdn before an approach haha so lame.

There is so much you can do with a mobile platform.

A mobile version of the forums is a simple first option, like those http://m.whatever.com websites.

Then next is what do you really want to do with people having access to RSD via mobile devices? If you look at people I find that generally the use the phones quickly and shortly when with others, like checking for a chat updates or whatever, or longer when there's no one around/they're bored/they're waiting.

Access to the forums would be nice for those longer usage periods, but what about other possibilities?

Like say you can signup for a premade 30 day challenge, and using the location detection on the phone, you could get a message like "Approach 3 chicks today on the street, and 5 in the club" or whatever when your phone notices you are not at home. People could be doing this regardless, but for newbies (like me :P) a premade challenge in this way could be a good thing.

Of course this depends on what would be viewed as a crutch vs something being genuinely helpful.

Another thing that could be done is a maps integrated like feature where users could pinpoint certain venues for other users to see with relevant information. Like what kind of girls visit the place, ins and outs about the place and how good a place it is for pickup
You could also make an app for people where they sign up, with or without location, and make themselves available for meeting other rsd members on a night out. So you could meet some likeminded people for the night if you are so inclined.

I find that sometimes just looking at the thing you gather ideas about what you can do with it. Most of these phones include:

-Access to the internet
-Long range communication (Wifi and 3G)
-Short range communication (Bluetooth and in some cases Near Field Communications)
-Location detection
-Video/Photo Camera
-Touchscreen
-Motion detections
-Video and Audio

And see what pops to mind when thinking what could I do with X/Y?

You could even make a tip of the day something or other, including sometimes getting tips like "Why are you looking at your phone instead of talking to girls?" ;)

One of the biggest challenges I think is making something that is not a crutch, something that will not cause people to grab their phones more often with a 'what do I do now?' mentality or being an escape thing.

I don't know if your forum software allows you to set it up to run on tapatalk, but that app makes reading most of my other forums much easier.

Tyler,

Depending on how much work your planning on putting into the app, Here's a few Ideas that just popped into my head.

1. An App covering sticking points and exercises to over come them / Intent exercises / Momentum Exercises / Freedom from outcome Exercises / Overcoming Fears exercises....
2. Quick Game fundamentals(Approaching, Pacing, Frame control, Buyer/Seller dynamic, escalation, being present , ways of getting back into state if you get thrown out)

3. Calender for tracking and planning Time Spent in field / 30 day challenges on things like escalation, frame control / Pre-Sarging Rituals / In between sets state pumping rituals.......
4. Videos on state/ building momentum  / owning your environment vs. letting the environment overwhelm you....
5. Newbie goals and tips  for the night/weekend, Intermediate goals and tips for the night/weekend, Advanced Challenges

hope this was helpful.
