I think this was the sticking point in my game: not focusing enough on just keeping them comfortable and just trying to reach the next step.

Comfort is WAY more important than sexuality for getting laid. It's why after 5000 years of human evolution, chodes are chodes, and not predators being taught how to be more chodelike.

i stumbled on this little epic sasha youtube clip on YT. i love the hardcore to the point delivery. listen and say it isn't so. really simple awesome little speech that strikes the right chord inside of every man alive
therefore i greatly appreciate latest Tyler videos (like charisma/congruence and the lastes where he unfilters..) where he cut the sh!t and finally presented some slap in the face stories as well as switched to hardcore no BS gangsta delivery. that has much better effect IMO than analytical like discussions about the mechanics of the game and motivational speeches.
